가전제품들의 제조기술과 기능 및 성능 등의 개선을 주도하뎐 국내 기술수준은 포화되어 발전 속도의 둔화가 가속화되므로, 경쟁력이 강화된 제품으 개발과 다양한 소비자들의 요구를 만족시키는 제품의 개발을 위하여 사용자 중심의 제품을 개발하기 위한 노력은 인간의 감성요소를 이해하고 응용하기 위한 활발한 연구로 나타나고 있는 추세이다.$^{1)}$ 사용자의 감성 연구에서 심리학적, 미학적 접근방법의 적용은 사용자의 감성을 더욱 본질적으로 이해하기 위한 하나의 방법이다. 인구통계학적, 사회경제적, 심리적 측면에 의한 개인차와 환경적 요소들의 영향에 따른 사용자의 요구들에 대한 충족여부가 취미와 가치판단의 변인으로써 작용하고, 그 취미와 가치판단은 구매행위 등의 행동특성으로 나타난다. 따라서 취미와 가치판단의 기준이되는 요소와 변인들은 행동특성을 야기시키는 요인들이 되므로 본 연구에서는 사용자의 요구를 만족시켜 경쟁력이 강화도니 제품의 개발을 위하여 소비자들의 감성과 미적 판단이 상품의 구매를 위한 의사 결정에 미치는 영향과 제품에 대한 가치판단에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 결과의 분석에 의하면 소비자의 취미돠 미적판단 기준은 내면적요소와 외부환경적요소로 구분되며 재면적 요소는 감성분류와 성격분류에 의해 분석할 수 있으며, 내면적 요소가 제품의 선호도에 영향을 미치므로 제품의 제품선택의 변인이되며, 제품에 대한 형용사적 표현은 소비자와 디자이너의 양질의통신수단임을 입증하였다.

The purpose of this study is to determine aesthetical characteristics of the Japanese traditional wedding dress for women by analyzing such dresses' aesthetical senses. For the purpose, the study showed four types of the dress, Zunihidoe, Iro-uchicake, Chiromuku, Hurisode and their photographed stimuli to subjects and then obtained data using the seven scale measures of meaning differentiation consisting of 25 pairs of adjective words. Results of the study are described as follows : Aesthetical senses shown in the Japanese traditional dressing dress for women included six factors in total, among which attractiveness was found as the main factor, followed by chastity. For the four types of the dress, its main factor while the remaining four types, were found having dignity as their main factors. adjective words which largely accounted for aesthetical senses included uncomfortable, unique, bright, dignity, classical, ornamental and beautiful, suggesting that the Japanese traditional wedding dress for women is somewhat unfunctional, high in dignity and aesthetic beauty. Aesthetical senses were most different according to nationality (Korea and Japan) when they were analyzed in terms of nationality, gender and whether of specialization or non-specialization.

본 연구는 사상관련전위를 이용하여 의식하에 제시된 미적자극이 대뇌활동에 미치는 영향을 밝혀내고자 이루어졌다. 이를 위해, 16명의 실험참가자에게 masking법를 이용해 미적자극을 의식하에 제시하였다(10msec). 제시된 자극은 선행연구를 통해 선정된 Beautiful Images(미자극), Ugly Images(추자극), Neutral Images(중성자극)이였다. 사상관련전위(event-related potentials; ERPs)는 64채널의 뇌파계를 이용하여 측정하였다. 그 결과, 후두엽 (Oz) 및 좌측두엽 (T5)에서 미자극에 의해 나타난 ERPs초기성분인 P1, N1, P2, N2의 진폭이 중성자극에 의해 나타난 진폭보다 컸다. 그리고, 후두염에서 추자극에 의해 보여진 P2, N2의 진폭 및 Late Slow Wave(LSW)의 평균전위가 중성자극에 의해 보여진 것보다 컸다. 이와 같은 ERPs성분은 자극의 탐지, 패턴인지, 기억탐색, 표적선택 등과 같은 자극의 정보처리와 관련되어 있다고 보고되고 있다. 따라서, 의식하에 제시된 미적자극은 서로 다른 대뇌 활동을 일으킴을 알 수 있다. 이는 인간은 의식하에서 미적자극에 대한 정보처리를 하는 기능을 가지고 있음을 뜻한다.

Modern design started from having form of nature and biology and had gradually faced limit on the design subject, therefore changed to something with emotions. However, personal emotion is hard to receive sympathy from the public. Therefore the researcher have selected subject that is already receiving love from the public and tried to visualize it through metal sculpture. The subject selected for visualization is 'Counting Stars at Night' by poet Yoon Dong Ju who the Koreans love the most and the aesthetic factor was selected through prior studied literature and have made by applying metal, gemstone and coloring method. As a result the aesthetic factor could be selected understanding the emotion inside the poet 'Counting Stars at Night' by Yoon Dong Ju and have not lost objectivity in the emotions and could be able to feel the beauty of the metal sculpture with deep emotions of the 'Counting Stars at Night' by Yoon Dong Ju through completed metal sculpture. This served as a momentum for suggesting possibility of shaping the immaterial subject.

The current study examined brain regions associated with aesthetic experience to fractal images using functional MRI. The aesthetic estimations of the images showed that there is a general consensus regarding the perception of beautiful images. Out of 270 fractal images, fifty images rated highest(beautiful images) and fifty images rated lowest(non-beautiful images) were selected and presented to the participants. The two conditions were presented using the block design. Frontal lobes, cingulate gyri, and insula, the areas related to the cognitive and emotional processing in aesthetic experience, were activated when beautiful images were presented. In contrast, the middle occipital gyri and precuneus, the areas associated with experience of negative emotions, were activated when non-beautiful images were presented. The conjunction analysis showed activations in temporal areas in response to beautiful images and activations in parietal areas in response to non-beautiful images. These results indicate that beautiful images elicit semantic interpretations whereas non-beautiful images facilitate abstract processes.

본 연구에서는 연령·조명·프로그램 종류에 따른 TV 최적 화질의 설정치를 규명하고, 최적 화질에 대한 감성구조를 규명하는 것이 목적이다. 아동, 성인 그리고 노인이 실험에 참여하였고, 세 가지 조명 조건에 따라 영화, 만화영화 (애니메이션), 드라마, 다큐멘터리의 화면이 제시되었다. 실험 참여자들은 화면을 보는 동안, 리모콘을 사용하여 가장 만족스러운 화면을 설정하였다. 또한 설정한 최적화질에 대해 감성을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 연령·조명·프로그램 종류에 따라 최적 화질에 대한 설정치가 다르게 나타났다. 화질에 대한 감성구조는 두 차원 (쾌-불쾌 및 감각특성, 미적특성)으로 나타났으며, 연령에 따라 감성구조가 다르게 나타났다.

In this work we start from the thesis that Schiller's Aesthetic Letters contains two different doctrines of aesthetic education. When Schiller first raised the need of aesthetic education in his 1793 letters to Friedrich Christian von Augustenburg, he wanted to show that the taste for beauty contributes to morality and emphasized that man could reach pure reason only by way of beauty. When he revised the original letters and published them in 1795, he added some important parts concerning beauty as the condition and idea of humanity and the following arguments about 'aesthetic condition.' These added parts emphasize the harmony of reason and sensibility in beauty and the restoration of totality in 'aesthetic condition.' We examine the meaning and implications of 'aesthetic condition' in comparison with Schiller's 1793 doctrine of 'three-phase development of humanity,' and explain the background of this thought and also how it developed before and after Aesthetic Letters.

본 논문은 인간의 마음을 움직이는 감각자극과 그것을 생성해 내는 시스템 구현에 관한 연구이다. 마음을 움직이거나, 어떤 행동을 유발하는 정신작용의 과정에 관여하는 요소들을 밝히고, 그 구조와 효과 등을 알아내는 일이 중요하며, 이러한 연구의 성과물들은 정신작용에 관여하는 요소들을 조작, 변수처리 하여 의도적인 정신작용 감각자극을 만들어 낼 수 있는 시스템 구현을 가능하게 할 수 있다. 인간은 감각자극으로 인지된 정보를 자신의 정신적인 필터를 통해 개념화하게 되는데, 이 시스템은 의식에 직접 관여하거나, 우회하는 감각자극에 대한 것들을 제공 할 수 있도록 인간의 개념화의 과정을 의식하여 시스템의 구조를 구현 했다. 인간의 기억데이터와 비슷하다 할 수 있는 구조적 위치의 소스데이터가 있다. 그리고 이것을 현실의 시공간에서 얻어지는 미적 행위와 자극의 반복을 통해 얻어진 결과로 만들어 내거나, 이러한 미적 결과물을 유저는 커뮤니케이션의 도구로 사용할 수 있다. 이와 같은 것의 시작으로, 우리의 삶 깊숙이 침투해 있는 미디어의 감각자극들을 수동적으로 수용하는 것이 아니라 능동적으로 생산해 내는 것이다. 이런 행위는 자신을 가꾸고 만드는 자기최면적인 도구나, 대상을 갖는 커뮤니케이션의 도구를 만들어내는 연구가 될 수 있다. 자신이 필요로 하는 정신적 바탕을 스스로 만들어가는 도구로써, 자신의 메시지를 대상에게 감동을 통해 전달하는 도구로써, 그 역할을 운운하기에는 시기상조인 감이 있다. 하지만 이 시스템은 이러한 비전을 가지고 개발과 발전을 거듭해 인공감성지능 감각자극 생성과 커뮤니케이션 시스템으로 성장 할 것이다.

Adjective words which largely accounted for aesthetical senses included uncomfortable, warn, chaste, intellectual, bright, unique, regular, luxurious, classical, ornamental and beautiful suggesting that the Korean traditional wedding dress for women is somewhat unfunctional, but high in attractiveness and aesthetic beauty and has a better classical harmonization of dignity and revelation. Aesthetical senses were most different according to nationality(Korean and Japan) when they were analyzed in terms of nationality, gender and whether of specialization or non-specialization. Japanese people had unique and interesting senses while Korean people, chaste, calm and delicate aesthetical senses. According to gender, men revealed free senses and women, classical ones. According whether of specialization or non-specialization those who specialized in a related field had more unique, straight, regular, luxurious and interesting aesthetical senses that those who did not specialize.
