Analysis of the Correlation between Fine Dust and Disease Using Big Data (빅데이터를 활용한 미세먼지와 질병 간의 상관관계 분석)

  • WHO 산하의 국제암연구소는 2013 년부터 미세먼지를 1 급 발암 물질로 분류하고 있으며 미세먼지 노출에 대한 질병 발생의 심각성은 점점 수면 위로 드러나고 있는 추세다. 본 연구에서는 국민건강보험공단의 진료 내역 정보 데이터와 2015 년부터 2021 년까지의 미세먼지 및 초미세먼지 월 평균 농도 데이터를 이용하여 미세먼지 및 초미세먼지 농도와 순환기계와 호흡기계 질병 간의 상관 관계를 보이고, 연관성있는 질병을 찾아내었다. 이를 위해 시계열분석, 상관분석, 빈도분석을 시행하였으며 실험 결과 호흡기질환에서는 급성 부비동염, 코의 농양 등의 질병과 순환기질환에서는 상세불명의 원발성 고혈압, 폐색전증이 상관관계가 높은 질병으로 판명되었다.

  • 비정질 합금은 기존 결정질 합금에서는 얻을 수 없는 독특한 물리적, 화학적, 기계적, 전자기적 특성을 나타내는 것으로 알려져 있다. 비정질을 형성하기 위해서는 매우 큰 냉각속도가 필요하므로 제조 가능한 비정질 합금은 분말, ribbon, 박판 형태로 제한되어 있다. 최근 비정질 분말 제조 및 벌크 비정 질에 관한 연구는 많은 발전을 보아 왔지만, 아직도 고청정 비정질 합금 분말의 제조와 대량 생산화 관해서는 많은 연구가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 고청정 Ni-Zr-Ti-Si-(Sn)계 벌크 비정질 분말을 가스분무법으로 제조하였다. 제조된 합금 분말은 각 입도 별로 구분하여, XRD 분석을 통하여 비정질 형성 가능 입도을 분석하였다. 분말의 외형은 SEM으로 분석하였으며, 미세구조는 TEM을 사용하였다. 열적특성은 DSC 분석으로 조사하였다. 또한 제조한 비정질 분말의 미세구조와 비교하기 위하여 Tg와 Tx 온도범위에서 열처리 한 분말의 미세구조를 분석하였다. XRD 분석 결과, 가스분무법으로 제조된 Ni-Zr-Ti-Si-(Sn) 분말 중에서 75$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 분말은 비정질상을 가졌으며, 75$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이상의 분말은 결정질 또는 비정질의 혼합 상으로 구성되었다. 비정질 분말 회수율은 약 60% 이상이었다. 미세 TEM 분석에서 75$\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하 분말은 전형적인 비정질 Halo 형상을 보였으며, 결정질이 혼합된 분말은 비정질 기지상에 결정질 응고 수지상 조직이 혼합되어 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Until now, the study of fine dust has been divided into prediction, analysis and measurement, mainly in the field of atmospheric environment. Fine dust is caused by various causes such as atmospheric quality factor, meteorological factor and emission. It was determined that it was a priority to analyze the correlation of how much each element affects fine dust, and it was experimented. This correlation analysis was done using IBM SPSS tool using air quality factor and meteorological factor data obtained from Korea Meteorological Administration and Air Korea. As a result, the influence of air quality factors and meteorological factors on the fine dust level was more clearly understood. In this paper, we present experimental results as correlation analysis and pearson coefficient for more precise analysis between PM10 values and affected factors.

The Influence of Knowledge and Attitude on Behavior related to Particulate Matter in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 미세먼지 관련 지식과 태도가 행위에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated predictors of the behavior related to particulate matter in nursing students. The participants in this descriptive study were 186 nursing students at K university in G city from May 1 to 14 in 2018. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The level of knowledge(10.6/15), attitude(59.94/75) and behavior(42.56/60) were relatively high. The significant predictors of the behavior were attitude(β=.591, p<.001), smoking(β=-.134, p=.049) and respiratory disease(β=.133, p=.025), and explained 40.1% of it. Educational programs to enhance nursing students' health promoting behaviors against particulate matter must be focused on attitude change.

A Reexamination on the Influence of Fine-particle between Districts in Seoul from the Perspective of Information Theory (정보이론 관점에서 본 서울시 지역구간의 미세먼지 영향력 재조명)

  • This paper presents a computational model on the transfer of airborne fine particles to analyze the similarities and influences among the 25 districts in Seoul by quantifying a time series data collected from each district. The properties of each district are driven with the model of a time series of the fine particle concentrations, and the calculation of edge-based weights are carried out with the transfer entropies between all pairs of the districts. We applied a modularity-based graph clustering technique to detect the communities among the 25 districts. The result indicates the discovered clusters correspond to a high transfer-entropy group among the communities with geographical adjacency or high in-between traffic volumes. We believe that this approach can be further extended to the discovery of significant flows of other indicators causing environmental pollution.

Topic Modeling on Fine Dust Issues Using LDA Analysis (LDA 기법을 이용한 미세먼지 이슈의 토픽모델링 분석)

  • In this study, the last 10 years of news data on fine dust was collected and 80 topics are selected through LDA analysis. As a result, weather-related information made up the main words for the topic, and we can see that fine dust becomes a big issue below 10 degrees Celsius. The frequency of exposure to the media and the maximum concentration of fine dust are correlated with positive. Topics related to fine dust reduction measures and the government's comprehensive measures over the past decade, topics related to products such as air purifiers related to fine dust, topics related to policies protecting vulnerable people from fine dust, and topics on fine dust reduction through R&D were found to be major topics. Measures against fine dust as a social issue can be seen to be closely related to the government's policy.

Detection of Fine Delamination in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Analyzing Full Width Half Maximum of Superimposed Terahertz Signal (테라헤르츠 중첩 신호의 FWHM 분석을 통한 유리섬유 복합재료 내부 미세 박리 검출 기술)

  • Full width half maximum (FWHM) analysis of superimposed terahertz (THz) signals in the glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) was studied to detect fine delamination inside GFRP. The THz signals were measured for each fine delamination size inside the GFRP using the reflection mode of the terahertz time domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) system. Then, the FWHM of the superimposed THz signal reflected at the fine delamination was extracted. Thereafter, the complex refractive index of the GFRP was measured using transmission mode of the THzTDS system. Based on this, the FWHM of the superimposed THz signal at the fine delamination were calculated and compared with respect to the fine delamination size. From the theoretically calculated superimposed signals, the relationship between the fine delamination size and the FWHM in the superimposed THz signal was derived. Consequently, the fine delamination size could be predicted through the analysis of the FWHM extracted from the THz signal at the fine delamination.

Analysis of Heavy Metal Element and Microorganism by Manufacture of Particulate Matter Sampler for Science Project of Secondary School (중등학교에서 사용 가능한 미세먼지 포집 장치 제작을 통한 대기 중 중금속 및 미생물 분석)

  • The purpose of this study were to sample particulate matter and analyze its elements and microorganisms for secondary school science project. The particulate matter was sampled on the rooftop a four-store building at a university in Chungju province. A simplified capturing system was developed with the parts, motor-pump, innet, $1.0{\mu}m$ teflon filter, filter-holder, etc. Using the system, this study had sampled particulate matter during Dec., 2013-Jun., 2014. Then, this study analyzed the elements and microorganisms of the sampled particulate matter. Results have been shown that the particulate matter derived China urban area is mainly consisted of the artificial pollutant, such as Cu, Zn, Cd, Ni, Pb. In addition, this study has been shown that microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungi, are included in the particulate matter. Therefore, this study suggests a new systemic investigation and monitoring about the particulate matter, specially originated from China. Also, this study provides a sample for secondary school science experiment.

  • 최근 서울시에서는 '미세먼지 비상저감조치'로 '대중교통 무료' 정책을 시행하고 후속 조치로 '시민 참여형 차량 2 부제'를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 먼저, 위 두 교통 정책의 실효성을 파악하기 위해 '교통'을 중심으로 각 산업이 미세먼지에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 위 정책들에 대한 시민들의 반응을 분석한다. 각 산업이 미세먼지에 미치는 영향은 회귀분석으로, 두 정책에 대한 시민들의 반응은 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 통해 알아보았다. 그 결과, 교통수단의 도로 이용 여부에 따라 미세먼지에 미치는 영향력의 정도와 방향이 다름을 알 수 있었고 정책에 대한 관심과 부정적인 의견이 크게 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 또 국외 요인에 대한 해결책도 필요로 함을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 위 결과를 토대로 향후 미세먼지 문제와 관련된 정책이 나아갈 방향을 제시한다.
