The genus Helina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 is one of the largest groups belonging to the subfamily Phaoniinae in the family Muscidae, comprising more than 540 species worldwide. In this taxonomic study, the genus Helina was recorded first time from the Korea with following three unrecorded species: H. deleta (Stein, 1914), H. evecta (Harris, 1780), and H. subpubiseta Xue, 1986. Taxonomic information, morphological photographs, and an identification key to the Korean species were provided.

Seventeen copepod species of Artotrogidae are recorded from the Korean cosat of the Sea of Japan. They are 4 new species of Artotrogus, 3 new species of Bradypontius, 4 new species of Cryptopontius, 2 species of Myzopontius (one is new), 2 species of Pteropontius (one is new), and 2 new species of a new genus. Myzopontius pungens Giesbrecht and Pteropontius decorus Ho are also reported as new records for Korean fauna. These artotrogid copepods were collected from 2 species of ryozoan, 1 species of ascidian, sea weeds, and benthic materials. A brief taxonomic review of the genus Artotrogus is given as well.

Fleshy fungi were collected during ten field trips to Ullung Island from October of 1989 to October of 1993. Through the observation of ascomycetous, auriculariaceous, and gasteromycetous fungi, 17 fungi were identified to the species and are listed below. Among them, four species Dasyscyphus virgineus, Hypoxylon serpens, Hypoxylon rubiginosum, and Eutypa scabrosa were confirmed new to Korea and are registered here with descriptions.

The subgenus Pronocerodes Plavilstshikov (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) is reported from Korea for the first time with a species of Ropalopus (Pronocerodes) aurantiicollis Plavilstshikov, 1940. The morphological information is provided with a key to the Korean Ropalopus and photographs of an adult specimen.

Many higher fungi of ascomycetes were collected at Mt.Jiri National Park, Pyonsan Peninsula National Park, Mt. Pangtae of Kangwon-do, Mt. Moak Provincial Park of Chollabuk-do and Mt. Manduck near Chonju city from June 1995 to October 1996. Identification of the revealed that Calycellina, Diatrype and Diatrypella were new genera to Korea and Scutellinia umbrarum, S. pseudoumbarum, Dasyscyphus virgineus. Calycellina punctiformis, Xylaria oxyacanthae, Diatrype disciformis, Diatrypella quercina and D. verrucaeformis were newly to Korea.

풀거미속( Agelena ) 의거미는 1805년에 Walckenaer 에 의하여 창설된이후 오늘에 이르기까지 약 70종이 기재되었으며 동양에서는 13종이 보고되었는데 그 대부분이 일본 (6종)과 중국(4종)산다. 한국산 풀거미속은 Kamble, T.(1932), Kishida, K(1933) 및 저자(1962)등에 의하여 Agelena labrinthica ,A.kimbata, A.opuleta 의 3 종이 보고되었다. 금 반 저자 소장의 표본을 정리 분류한 결과 1미기록종과 3 신종을 얻었기에 이에 기재하였다. 즉, 미기록종 Agelena difficuilis Fox, 1936. 신종 Agelena choi, a.koreana, A.jirisanensis ※ Agelena choi 의 종명은 조복성박사에게 봉헌한 것이다.
