Interview - 제12회 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상 수상자

  • 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상은 우리나라 산업물류의 혁신을 위하여 표준파렛트와 표준컨테이너의 생산 및 사용에 있어 가장 모범이 되는 우수한 업체와 이러한 활동에 헌신한 개인 또는 단체를 발굴, 시상함으로써 유닛로드시스템의 보급확산을 촉진하여 우리나라 산업물류 효율화에 기여하고자 주어지는 상이다. (사)한국파렛트컨테이너협회가 주최하고 산업통상자원부, 국가기술표준원, 물류신문사가 후원하는 제12회 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상 시상식이 11월 12일 중소기업중앙회 그랜드홀에서 열렸다. 올해 시상식에서는 산업통상자원부장관 표창, 국가기술표준원장 표창, 한국파렛트컨테이너협회장표창이 유닉로드시스템 부문과 공로상 부문으로 나뉘어 진행됐다. 유닛로드시스템 부문은 T-11형 파렛트(컨테이너)에 의한 일관파렛트화(일관컨테이너화) 추진 우수기업 및 산업현장 유관단체에서 일관파렛트화(일관컨테이너화) 추진확산에 기여한 업체 단체를 대상으로 시상했으며 공로상은 일관파렛트화(일관컨테이너화)추진 우수기업 및 산업현장 유관단체에서 일관파렛트화(일관컨테이너화) 추진확산에 기여하고 산업물류표준화와 국제협력에 기여한 개인 또는 단체를 대상으로 시상했다. 본 고에서는 제12회 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상 수상자들의 공적사항을 살펴보도록 한다.

The Strategies of Logistics Management for SMEs through CALS/EC (중소기업 물류경영 정보화를 위한 CALS/EC 전략)

  • CALS/EC is about doing business electronically. It is based on the electronic processing and transmission of data, including text, sound and video. It encompasses many diverse activities including electronic trading of goods and services, online delivery of digital content, electronic fund transfers, electronic share trading, electronic bills of lading, commercial auctions, collaborative design and engineering, online sourcing, public procuremet, direct consumer marketing, and after-sales service. It involves both products(e.g. consumer goods, specialised medical equipment) and services(e.g. information services, financial and legal services); traditional activities(e.g. healthcare, education) and new activities (e.g. virtual malls). CALS/EC will be emerging to replace and substitute the role of the conventional market. By changing and eliminating some processes of the transactions, the electronic market and the electronic commerce will redistribute the power and hence the benefits of the market activities. Traditional way of doing business may enter into the new electronic market because the role and function of trust and established reputation will be reinforced in the electronic market. The CALS/EC through the Internet has been in the spotlight in the shopping behavior of the consumers. Accordingly Corporates are trying to adapt themselves to those rapidly changing environments being affected by the Internet. Among others, particularly to be noted is the CALS/EC between corporations and consumers whose potential growth can be considered very substantial. This report, focusing on the introduction of CALS/EC for the logistics of SMEs, will allow us to prepare more efficiently for the coming 21st Century. It is obvious that CALS/EC is fast becoming the useful way of exchanging not only information but products in business between firm-to-firm and firm-to-customer.

  • The value of Environment is so high and important that no one can estimate it correctly. In the area of Logistics, Environment protection is very important and keen subject for the present and for the future of this country and people. Environmental logistics, similarly used as Green logistics, means the protection of Nature and Environment and reduces all kinds of factors and behaviors that may destroy and deteriorate current Environment. It also include the preservation of Nature and sustainable development. Environmental logistics aims to save natural resources and to promote reuse of all kinds of materials and to increase the utilization of Environment friendly substitute goods. In this paper the concept and characteristics of Environmental logistics were summarized and described. Also the main previous studies were surveyed. Some of important cases and experiences which were introduced and applied in major countries such as Japan, Hongkong, USA and the case of PHILIPS were summarized and analyzed. With these cases and analysis, this paper suggested some alternatives and countermeasures for the improvement of Environmental logistics in terms of 3 dimensions such as Country, Company and Individual level. And a strategy model for enhancement of the Environmental logistics was suggested and limitations of this paper and future research directions were described.

  • 본 연구에서는 온실가스 감축과 자원절약형 항만운영을 위해서는 항만에서의 탄소 저감 물류활동과 더불어 신재생에너지원을 활용하여 화석연료 등의 소비를 최소화 할 수 있는 친환경 에너지 활용 체계 구축이 필요함에 따라 자립형 항만구축을 위한 항만도입 가능한 신재생에너지원을 대상으로 발전 잠재력을 분석하고 반영을 통해 우리나라 항만의 친환경 신재생에너지의 도입방안 및 에너지 자립화율등의 효과를 조사 하였다.

  • This paper proposes a scheme to estimate the technical efficiency of trucks in logistics as performance measure by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The result of technical efficiency estimation shows that there exists a substantial opportunity for improvement in technical efficiency of trucks and also the heterogeneity in the technical efficiency among trucks.

  • 올해 8회째를 맞이하는 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상은 명실공히 대한민국 물류인들의 축제의 장으로 거듭나고 있다. 특히 이번 행사에서는 KPCA 창립 15주년 기념행사와 유닛로드시스템 컨퍼런스를 더불어 개최하여 그간 같은 자리에서 묵묵히 걸어온 KPCA 임직원들의 노고를 치하하는 한편, 유닛로드시스템 컨퍼런스를 통한 국내 우수기업의 유닛로드 시스템 개선사례 및 성공사례를 발표하는 시간을 가졌다. 한국파렛트컨테이너산업대상은 산업물류 혁신을 위해 표준파렛트와 컨테이너 생산 및 사용에 있어 가장 모범이 되는 우수한 업체와 이러한 활동에 헌신한 개인 또는 단체를 발굴, 시상함으로써 유닛로드 시스템의 보급 확산을 촉진하기 위해 제정된 상이다.

의류산업의 물류활동에 관한 실증적 연구

  • 섬유·의류산업은 제조업 대비 업체수가 18.2%, 고용이 15.2%에 이르는 국민경제에서 매우 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있는 산업이다. 또한, 전체수출액대비 10.7%를 차지하며 지난 30여년간 수출전략산업으로 성장, 발전하여 왔다. 그러나 섬유·의류산업은 오늘날의 급격히 변화하고 있는 국내외 기업환경의 변화로 극심한 내수부진과 고질적인 재고부담에 따른 자금난 등으로 허덕이고 있다. 이렇듯 급속히 변모한 기업경영 환경속에서 섬유·의류산업은 생존을 위한 현실적 방도를 모색하지 않으면 안되게 되었다.(중략)

An Importance-Performance Analysis of Location Selection Factors for International Distribution Center in Port Hinterland (IPA기법을 통한 항만배후단지 내 국제물류센터 입주결정요인 분석)

  • As a consequence of the changed role and functions in port operations, the role of port hinterland has transformed to multi-functional logistic centre linking more efficiently elements of the supply chain. This paper analysed distribution centre selection factors in Busan new port hinterland, aiming to diagnose and evaluate the operational situations of port hinterland as multi-functional logistics centre. Based on a data collected from all 122 samples located in Busan new port hinterland, determinants for location competitiveness identified were: political support, market potentiality, infrastructure utilization, market niche, and connectivity. Comparing the difference between an importance and performance, it is revealed that the target port hinterland requires urgent improvement in political supports such as incentive programmes offered by host country, free trade system and related law, financial assistance in constructing distribution centers, and simplicity, ease and efficiency of administrative procedures. The results provide useful insights for establishing future improvement strategies and a strategic agenda to successfully respond to the demands of the companies located in port hinterlands and/or new customers those who want to move in.

  • For the purpose of cost saving and sales promotion, various industry companies have introduced logistics management techniques in their field. However, enterprises faced to damages because proper products can not be provided to customers in basic logistics 3S1L(speedy, safely, surely, and low) principles for environments changing rapidly and inflexible business processes. So, we need the ability in coping with risk to handle this phenomenon. In particular, the shipper of key decisions of supply chain risk management requires continuous exchange and collection of logistics information in the third-party logistics. However the current SCRMS(Supply Chain Risk Management System) is not sufficient to cover the shipper's various needs and to recognize and respond to emergency situations. Therefore, this paper proposes an active SCRMS framework through the reconsideration about the previous research on SCRM and rearrangement of risk factors for coping with those problems. in addition, it verifies an efficiency through a stability comparison with the current system.

Estimation Model of Electric Energy Consumption on Logistics Center Based on Thermodynamics Theory (열역학 이론 기반의 물류센터 전기에너지 소비량 산출 모형)

  • Electric energy consumption is always followed by the introduction of diversity scale-up and state-of-the-art equipments in logistic centers. In order to analyze the status and the characteristic of the electric energy consumption quantitatively, and also to evaluate the efficiency of the electric energy, this research aims to develop an estimation model of standard electric energy consumption for logistic centers. The proposed model applies the thermodynamics theory so as to effectively reflect the peculiarity that the temperature in the logistic center influences the electric energy consumption. And the model consists of the energy consumed by the refrigerator, which can be subdivided into the heat conducted through the wall, the heat convected by the open doors and the heat lost into the goods, and the electric consumption of the machinery equipments. The model also includes a variety of explanatory variables to support an operator of logistics centers in evaluating the efficiency of energy consumption and establishing improvement strategies for energy efficiency. Application of the model developed in this study is discussed with observed data on energy consumption of a logistics center.
