우리나라 항만배후단지는 수출입 화주의 글로벌 SCM 지원 및 효율적 물류활동을 지원하고, 항만의 고부가가치화를 실현하기 위해 개발 및 운영되고 있다. 따라서 물류센터를 운영하는 항만배후단지 입주기업들은 다양한 부가가치 물류활동을 수행할 것으로 기대되었으나, 여전히 단순 보관기능 위주의 활동에 치중되어 있다는 비판을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 항만배후단지 입주기업의 부가가치 물류활동 실태를 설문조사를 통해 분석하였다. 응답 입주기업의 44%가 단순 하역, 운송, 보관 기능만 수행하는 것으로 조사되었고, 5개 이상 부가가치 물류활동을 수행하는 기업은 전체의 11%로 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 또한 포장, 분류, 라벨링 등 비교적 저수준의 부가가가치 물류활동이 전체 부가가치 물류활동의 약 60%로 나타났고, 2017년 기준 부가가치 환적화물의 처리 비중은 2.6%로 상당히 낮은 결과를 나타냈다. 항만배후단지 입주기업의 부가가치 물류활동 수준을 제고하고, 부가가치 환적화물 유치 강화 등을 위한 경쟁력 강화방안 마련이 요구된다.

The meaning of "added value" refers to the contribution of the factors of production, i.e., land, labor, and capital goods, to raising the value of a product and corresponds to the incomes received by the owners of these factors. The importance of added value in service industry has been recognized as one of the critical factors to economic growth, even in logistics industry. But, it is hard to find out the previous studies providing a clear definition and framework for designing and analyzing the performance of Value Added Logistics(VAL). The purpose of this study is to define the meaning of extended VAL that extensively includes activities initiating and operating the reverse logistics under the closed-loop logistic scheme, and to suggest the framework that describes the partnerships among participants involving in operating the value added logistics. Also, in this paper, we emphasize on the need for investigation of added value logistics definition and framework based on previous academic studies, and examine various value added logistics service activities of current leading 3PL companies across the world. Finally, we suggest the analytic framework for value added logistics throughout closed-loop logistics.

The purpose of this study is to examine the actual condition of environment conscious logistics(ECL) system which is essential to make material recycling economic society. ECL management which meant simply recycle is tend to promote material reduction, reuse and recycling. We have made case studies about advanced ECL system. To examine manufacture companies' ECL system, we made survey form which is consist of 82 questionnaires and 129 companies have participated for this. And we have analyzed the survey responses. As a result, we propose the way of constructing ECL system in Korea.

동북아 경제중심추진위원회는 오는 4월 1일로 출범 1년이 되어간다. 동북아 경제중심의 금융, R&D, 물류 3분야 중 물류분야가 가장 먼저 로드맵이 발표되면서 공격적인 활동에 들어가고 있다. 짧은 시간 내의 활동사항을 보면 기대이상의 결과라 할 수 있다. 그러나 밑그림만 제시된 것이지 구체화되기 위해선 많이 부족하다며, 이 위원장은 휴일도 없이 전국을 돌며 물류 관계자들을 만나고 있다. 동북아 물류중심 로드맵을 홍보하고, 설득하는 한편, 기업 경영인으로서 회사업무에도 적극적으로 활동하고 있다. 이재희 위원장은 유니레버 코리아 회장을 겸임하고 있다. 그가 이 회사에 1999년 처음 취임할 당시 유니레버 코리아는 존폐의 기로에 있었지만, 이 위원장 특유의 ‘할 수 있다’는 자신감과 ‘승리정신(The Winning Spirit)'' 의 경영스타일로 오늘의 회사로 이끌었다. 이러한 경영스타일은 동북아 물류중심국가 건설을 위한 활동에도 배어있어 2006년 내에 가시적인 성과를 거두겠다는 목표로 그 누구보다도 열정적으로 활동하고 있다. (사)한국물류협회가 올해로 창립 20주년을 맞이하여 기획인터뷰 그 두 번째로 이재희 동북아 경제중심추진위원회 물류분과위원회 위원장을 만나보았다.

편의점 물류는 물류센터에서 가맹점이나 직영점포에 상품을 공급하는 배송이 주된 업무이다. 점포의 발주에 대응하여 수주, 출고, 정산 보충발주 등의 기본업무를 계속해서 반복하는 단순한 일면의 기능과, 다품종소량 다빈도 배송요구에 따른 처리비용 증가나 결품의 발생, 신선도 저하, 점포내 재고증가 등의 문제에 대응해야 하는 복합적이고 고도의 관리를 요하는 복잡한 기능의 양면성을 동시에 지니고 있다. 따라서 물류시설 확보, 노하우 축적, 인력양성 등의 물류관리는 사업의 손익과 직결되고, 고객서비스의 폭을 결정하기 때문에 편의점에 있어 물류관리는 대단히 중요하다. 그러나 편의점의 양적인 팽창에 비해 물류거점의 부족 협소한 물류센터와 전산화되지 않은 작업환경 등 편의점의 물류활동은 아직 미약한 것이 사실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 물류기능의 효율성이 무엇보다도 중요시되고 있는 편의점을 토대로 물류활동의 사례와 실태를 살펴보고 유통환경변화에 따른 편의정의 물류활동의 효율화 및 경쟁력 강화방안으로 공동화 방안을 제시하였다.

지속가능한 발전과 관련된 새로운 패러다임이 우리사회가 도달해야할 목표로 간주 되고 있다. 물류는 자원순환형 시스템의 실행역할을 하고 있으며, 지속가능발전을 위해서 환경친화적으로 구축되어야 한다. 최근 물류분야에서도 환경이 중요한 경쟁수단으로 등장하고 있어서 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에따라 본 연구는 물류활동 중에서 수송활동과 포장활동을 중심으로 어떻게 환경친화적으로 수행하고 있는 지를 기업의 사례를 통하여 살펴보고 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 198사를 대상으로 77개 항목에 대하여 조사하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 기업들이 추진해야할 환경친화적 물류활동의 추진방안을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper classifies and defines the infrastructure factors required to performance various logistics activities in domestic logistics centers as base facility, logistics facility, logistics equipment and operation system. The classification of infrastructure factors in this research provide the standard to be able to identify which infrastructure influence on logistics activities directly or indirectly. Also, this paper reviews Korean industrial Standards('KS') related to logistics center and then suggests the reformation of KS reflected on the logistics activities and infrastructures with field-study(321 domestic centers) and advisory meeting1). This review and suggestion can increase the low awareness and use of KS. Lastly, this paper can contribute to increase the effective of logistics centers' plan and operation by providing the improvement direction of KS regarding to logistics centers.

This study analyzes how the environmental-friendly logistics activities impact on both environmental performance which is the result of sustainable development and business performance which is one of basic achievement of commercial company. It has been researched especially focusing on manufacturing-based company. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, it has been proven that environment-friendly storage and cargo handling, management and policy factors significantly affect environmental performance. And environment-friendly production, management, policy factors significantly affect the company's business performance.

현재 전자상거래시장에서는 기업의 경영부담을 줄이고 고속의 물류서비스제공으로 고객만족을 높여 시장에서의 경쟁우위를 확보하고자 하는 측면이 크게 부각 되고 있다. 이는 전자상거래의 물류활동에서 효율적경영관리 및 전략적파트너와의 우호적관계 유지 차원에서의 중요성이 기업에 인식되어지게 되었다. 이에 따라 기업은 경영부담을 줄이고 고속물류서비스를 위한 전략적방편으로 파트너제휴를 통한 물류외주화라는 협력전략을 선택하게 되었다. 그러나 기업은 물류활동에서의 비효율적관리계획과 전략적 파트너에 대한 정보분석 및 협력활동에서의 경험부족과 시스템의 부재에 놓여있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 물류활동과 전자상거래에서 보다 효율적 파트너관계를 통한 기업 경영부담을 줄이고 고객요구에 부합하는 고품질의 물류서비스제공을 가능하게 하는 방안으로 파트너관계관리(partner relationship management: PRM) 모델을 제시하였다.

최근 건설교통부, 해양수산부, 산업자원부 등 정부산하기관으로 물류업계의 권익을 대변하는 많은 협회 · 단체가 활동하고 있다. 23년의 역사와 전통을 가지고 있는 (사)한국물류협회를 비롯하여, 국제물류지원단, 한국유통물류진흥원, 한국물류관리사협회 등이라 할수 있다. 우리나라 물류산업이 급성장할 수 있었던 밑바탕에는 이들 협회 · 단체들의 노력이 있었다는 것에 누구도 이견을 가지는 사람은 없을 것이다. 이와같이 비영리 사단법인으로 공식적으로 활동해온 협회도 있지만, 단순히 연구회 모임으로 활동하는 학회나 소모임 동아리도 많다. 여러 모임 중에서도 국제물류연구회는 '한반도의 동북아시아 물류중심지화' 라는 비전의 실현을 향한 의지와 애정을 가진 산 · 학 · 연 관계자들의 토론 연구회 모임이다. 지난 2001년 9월 창립하여 매월 1회씩 정기적인 학술 세미나를 개최하면서 물류산업발전에 많은 기여를 해오고 있다. 창립 5주년을 맞이한 국제물류연구회는 현재 건설교통부 산하 사단법인으로 등록을 마치고 그 결과인 인가를 기다리고 있다. 앞으로 기존의 물류관련 학회와는 다른 연구회로 거듭나기를 기대해 보며, 국제물류연구회는 어떤 단체인지, 국내 물류연구회의 제2대 회장으로 있는 이호영 함부르크 항만청을 한국대표를 만나 보았다.
