Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation coefficient of knowledge about multicultural, and attitude toward migrant wives by nursing Students. Methods: Research participants of this study were 212 students attending nursing university in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Jeollanam-do. A self-report instrument was used to measure knowledge about multicultural and attitudes toward migrant wives. Descriptive statistics, t-test, Mann-Whitney test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation analysis with SPSS/Win 20.0 were used. Results: The mean knowledge about multicultural was 8.10 out of 13 and the mean attitudes toward migrant wives was 2.45 out of 5. Factors affecting knowledge about multicultural were age. Factors affecting attitudes toward migrant wives were age, residential district, experience of overseas trip, experience of living abroad and foreign language fluency. There was a positive correlation between knowledge about multicultural and attitudes toward migrant wives. Conclusion: Developing knowledge about multicultural and positive attitudes toward migrant wives is necessary in nursing school curricula. Therefore, nursing educator should make actual and effective education program.

The meaning of fengshui was another cultural ecological environment in the pre-modern in Korea. Village residents made interrelations with village natural environment by the medium of the geomantic landscape. The functions of cultural ecology through the village fengshui are as follows: the spatial location, the population inflow, the regulation of the community's production or construction or land-use, the adjustment of the environmental carrying capacity, the environmental management, the forming of the collective environmental perception and attitude. Village fengshui is a cultural adaptation strategy to the local environment for the village residents. Fengshui can be evaluated as a traditional cultural ecological way and knowledge system for keeping sustainable village environment in East Asia.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the efforts of Knowledge, Attitude and Perceptions of Patient Safety Culture on Fall Prevention Activities in Mental Hospital Nurses. This study is a descriptive research study of 153 nurses working in Busan and Gyeongnam mental health hospitals, the data were collected from April 4 to December 31, 2018. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS/win 24.0 program, which included t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. As a result, The attitude toward falls differed depending on subject's license or qualifications, the higher the education level. The higher the level of perceptions of patient safety culture, and the higher the work experience, the more prevention activities toward falls. The higher the perception of patient safety culture, the higher the attitude toward falls. The higher the prevention activities toward falls, the higher the attitude of falls and the perceptions of safety culture. As a result of multiple regression analysis of factors affecting Knowledge, Attitude and Perceptions of Patient Safety Culture on Fall Prevention Activities were 12.5%. Therefore, in order to promote fall prevention activities of mental hospital nurses, the knowledge needs to be expanded through continuous education. Education programs should be developed and provided to change attitudes toward falls. and At the hospital organization level, a wide range of support is required, including changes in the overall human and institutional environment for safety.

Attitudes toward target language culture and motivation have been known as important factors in second or foreign language learning. In this study, cadets' attitudes toward the target language community and culture were investigated to find out any relationships with English achievement. Integrative or instrumental motivation in foreign military context was investigated to determine which motivation was more positively related to English proficiency. Cadets' responses were shown highly positive and internally consistent in most cases. Military cadets' attitudes toward American culture were statistically significant and could predict their English achievement. Even though integrative motivation was statistically significant, correlation with English achievement was low. However, instrumental motivation was not significant. This result implies that attitudes toward culture is an important factor in foreign language learning and integrative-instrumental motivation dichotomy might not be enough to explain specific context like cadets' English learning situation at Korea Army Academy at Youngcheon.

This study analyzed the relationship between stress and academic attitude multicultural youth, and cope with stress social support, and to understand the relationship between the parameters of psychological Hi feeling, and for more efficient guidance Set the structural equation model for verifying the relationship between the factors that provide the basic data to verify the relationship between fit and Henin models through systematic analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, we examined the difference between the factors of stress due to the demographic Henin multicultural youth. The difference between the stress corresponding to the average income of the grade and families was observed. However, differences in the stress in accordance with the residence period is significantly different from stress for participation in relationships between classes was observed. Second, the stress of multi cultural youth, psychological Hello feeling to cope with stress is sound had the effect of (-). However, social support, stress coping, that there is an effect of the parameters of the positive (+) revealed the relationship between the both of psychological Hello feeling of stress and academic attitude.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between national identity and attitudes towards immigrants among Korean, Chinese and Japanese univ. students. The subjects were univ. students of Korean(433), Chinese (495) and Japanese(477). Data were analyzed by Factor analysis, ANOVA, Scheffe, Structural Equation Modeling, multi-group analysis. The results are following : First, ethnic and civic identity both was the highest in chinese univ. students. Ethnic identity was the lowest in Korean univ. students, and civic identity was the lowest in Japanese univ. students. Second, attitudes towards immigrants among Korean, Chinese and Japanese Univ. Students differed from items of perceived threat. Third, each sub-factor of national identity influenced mutual relation rather than independent on attitude towards immigrants. The impact of national identity on the attitudes towards immigrants, that of Japanese univ. students has significantly highest, but those of Korean and Chinese univ. students was not affected.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence the depression and social maladjustment in adolescence of multi_cultural families. The participants were 211 adolescents in multicultural family. The data were collected using a self-report questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using hierarchical regression with the SPSS 23.0 program. The stress, career maturity and authoritarian caring attitude had a significant impact on depression(F=13.77, p<.001). The stress, authoritarian caring attitude, negative impact and resilience, career maturity, cultural diversity attitude, open communication, parents' support showed positive impact on social maladaptation(F=13.77, p<.001). This study contributes an integrated understanding of adolescents in multicultural family. And the findings was provided basic data for the development of intervention program on depression and social maladjustment for adolescents in multicultural family.

The purpose of this study is to identify the multicultural competence of university students majoring in social welfare studies and to verify the influence of human rights attitude and spiritual intelligence that affect multicultural competence using structural equation model. Spiritual intelligence was set as an independent variable and multicultural competence was set as a dependent variable. Human rights attitude was established as a mediating variable. Study subjects were 259 university students majoring in social welfare studies at 5 universities in the Daegu, Gyoungbuk area. Spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude appeared to have a significant effect on multicultural competence, indicating that a higher level of spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude were correlated with a higher level of human rights attitude. Also in the pathway of spiritual intelligence on multicultural competence, human rights attitude had a significant mediating effect. When the university student majoring in social welfare studies had a high level of spiritual intelligence including transcendence and meaning and purpose of life, their perspective on human rights which is important in the practice of social welfare affected the multicultural competence required to assist immigrants of various identities. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended for the university students majoring in social welfare to have the "three-multi-sensitivities" including sensitivity of multicultural competence, sensitivity of spiritual intelligence, and sensitivity of human right attitude.

This study investigates, 1) the predicting career attitudes of multicultural youth, 2) the aim was to provide evidence-based data on career and policy development. A survey for a total of 1,335 multicultural youth and data were analyzed by data-mining decision tree with SPSS 23.0. The main findings are as follows. First, female students showed satisfaction in life, self-esteem and support for mothers' career. Second, In boys, self-esteem was the most important. Based on these results, it contains suggestions for career development for multicultural youth.

This study aims to suggest theoretical models to examine the composition factors of recognition, image, attitude toward Korean food and its globalization and investigate their relationships, which was analyzed based on the results of a survey. To achieve this research purpose, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis and the analysis of Cronbach a values were performed using the SPSS 13.0 program, and multiple regression analysis and simple regression analysis were also performed to analyze their relationships. The results of this study are as follows. First, the recognition of Korean food influenced its image and attitude toward it. Second, image of Korean food had an effect on attitude toward it. Third, both image and attitude regarding Korean food influenced globalization of Korean food. Accordingly, what this study can contribute to in the development of Korean food culture are as follows. First, this study will contribute to making a good image of Korean food and its globalization by changing people's recognition, image, and attitude toward Korean food and making them interested in Korean food suitable for globalization. Second, this study will help to make detailed marketing strategies to globalize Korean products and culture through Korean food. Third, this study will be helpful for improving the image of Korean food and creating economic benefits by attracting Korean food tourism. Moreover, it will help to give Korean people hope and pride of their lives. Fourth, this study will help to promote activation of Korean food tourist resources by connecting Korean food recognized to be LOHAS and well-being foods with Korean cultural tourist resorts. Fifth, this study will make people have right recognition and attitude by developing nature-friendly and healthy Korean food culture. Sixth, this study will be a detonator for more active studies by encouraging researchers to be concerned about and participate in globalization and commercialization of Korean food continually.
