A Comparative analysis of cultural power as a soft power among national power (국력요소 중, 소프트파워로서의 문화경쟁력 비교분석 연구)

  • In this study, we performed an empirical research on how cultural power affects soft power as one of the elements of National Power. To fully exert the force of cultural power, appropriate level of "resources for power" need to be disseminated into cultural elements. Utilization of these resources need to appropriately developed and produced in quality and quantity when needed. This activity should be ensured with "composite support competence"; which is the combination of support organizations and their potentials. Indicators of cultural power includes society favorability rating, cultural favorability rating, E&D industry competitiveness index, and T&T competitiveness index. According to analysis of cultural power by each country, cultural industry (E&D) competitiveness index and travel and tourism (T&T) competitiveness index shows relatively high correlation. This research aims to analyze the "cultural power as soft power" of South Korea, China and US, and how they are different and how their resources of power are represented in their E&D and T&T competitiveness.

An analysis on current status and competitiveness of culture contents industry in Busan region using LQ and GAP analysis (LQ분석과 GAP분석을 통한 부산 문화콘텐츠 산업의 현황과 경쟁력 분석)

  • The domestic cultural contents industry has been growing rapidly since the 2000s. The government has designated the cultural content industry as the next generation domestic growth industry. In order to cultivate this, various regulations are made and the budget is supported. Local governments are preparing various policies of cultural contents industry. This study presents the economic ripple effect by analyzing the status level and competence of the cultural contents industry in region based on LQ(location quotient) analysis and GAP analysis. Through this, this study will examine the competitiveness of the cultural content industry with high added value in Busan and draw out the plan for activation of cultural contents. Also, this study will compare competitiveness of Busan with other regions and show the economic contribution of Busan City.

Longitudinal Analysis to Regional LQ Index Competitiveness of Character Culture Contents Industry (캐릭터 문화콘텐츠 산업의 권역별 입지 경쟁력 분석에 대한 종단적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and the competitiveness improvement of character industry comparing to relative LQ index of the no. of character company, the no. of employee and the amount of revenue of 2007, 2009, and 2010 between including Metro area and regional blocks(kangwon, chungchung, daekung, honam, dongnam and jeju region). The results of this research are as follows. In case whole regional analysis, no. of employee and no. of character company suggested jeju, dongnam and Metro have high competitiveness during the 3 years and amount of revenue suggested consistent high competitiveness 6 block except Metro. But in case of except of Metro, no. of character company and the no. of employee indicated dongnam and jeju showed competitiveness during 3 years. Chungchung area indicated high competitiveness at no. of employee(2009) and no. of character company(2011). The amount of revenue indicated jeju area have high competitiveness during 3 years.

The analysis of regional Character industry - CT competence level and R&D performance (국내 캐릭터산업의 권역별 문화콘텐츠 역량과 R&D 성과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze relative LQ index of the No. of character company, the No. of employee and the amount of revenue. Second, to analyze the strength and weakness about technology competence, human resource competence, infra competence and network competence of regional character contents R&D. The results are as follows. The relative competitively LQ index results of company infra indicated all regional area are over 1 LQ index. But, in case of except of seoul & kyunggi, the competence LQ index of R&D which is jeju, dongnam(pusan & kyungnam) are in order. Final result suggested that the high competitiveness of regional character industry are seoul & kyunggi, jeju, dongnam area.

  • 문화콘텐츠 산업 발전의 핵심요소인 CT는 디지털 융 복합화의 진전에 따라 게임, 영상, 가상세계, 컴퓨터그래픽 등에 적극 활용되어 문화콘텐츠 산업의 성장에 새로운 기회를 제공할 것으로 예상된다. 또한 문화콘텐츠는 IT 산업의 뒤를 잇는 신성장 동력으로서 고부가가치화를 달성하여 창조경제시대 개막의 견인차 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 이 논문은 우리나라가 문화콘텐츠 5대 강국으로 도약하고 세계 수준의 핵심 기술개발 역량으로 "CT 선도국가"로 자리매김하기 위하여 새로운 R&D 추진체계 도입을 연구하였다. 특히 창조 협력 경쟁의 정책철학인 "3CTP 전략"을 통해 산업 및 기술 경쟁력을 강화시키고 R&D 효율성을 제고시키는 시스템을 제안하여 제도적인 측면에서 혁신을 기하고 있다. 본 논문은 이를 도출하기 위해 문화콘텐츠 산업의 중요성, 기술동향 및 경쟁력 분석 등도 수행하였다.

  • The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze relative LQ index of the No. of game company, the No. of employee and the amount of revenue. Second, to analyze personal competence, resource competence, performance competence, network competence and environmental competence of regional game contents R&D. The results are as follows. The LQ index results of company are highest in seoul and Kyunggi area' And In case of except of seoul & kyunggi, the competence of R&D which is daekyung, dongnam, chungcheong are in order. In case of 5 game R&D competence, chungchung, seoul & kyunggi, honam region are in order. The core competence of chungchung region are ideal venture ecosystem among inter-supportive R&D research center, ETRI, university and company.

  • 우리나라 니트 산업은 노동력, 자본, 범용 적인 차용기술, 원자재 등의 생산요소에서 원가절감을 통한 경쟁력의 이점을 추구하던 시기는 이미 지나 최근에는 중국의 중저가품 위주의 니트 제품들이 대량 유입되는 추세를 보이고 있다. 생산현장의 인력부족과 인건비 상승, 고유 기술 개발 미흡, 국제 원자재 의존성 등의 이유로 이미 대 선진국 수출에서 비가격 부문의 경쟁력을 상실한 국내 니트 업계는 선진국들의 니트 제품과의 가격 경쟁력까지 상실해 가고 있는 것이 현실이다. (중략)
