The purpose of this study is to devise a classification scheme to arrange the agricultural information efficiently. In the first part it defines the agricultural science and studies the content and system of the agricultural science. It compares current KDC with DDC, UDC and NDC used to agriculture parts, and it studies AGRICOLA SCC. On the basis of it, this study is displayed the new classification for the agricultural science. The new classification scheme Is classified by the basic theories related to agriculture, agriculture of plants, animal agriculture, food products, and auxiliary disciplines in turn. The number of main divisions are set up 23 items.

The purpose of this study is principle and theory of main class in a Library Classification. According to Sayers, 'The foundation of the library is the book; the foundation of librarianship is classification.' We looked at the between scientific and bibliographic classification, and at the fact that bibliographic scheme is usually an aspect classification. That is to say, the organization of topics is based on areas or activity and the first division of the scheme is into disciplines or subject domains. This first division of classification creates what are called main class. The sequence of main classes is also important. A rough definition of a amin class is that it corresponds to a sin91e notational character. Main classes usually equivalent to traditional disciplines. What constitutes a main class will vary from one classification to another. The order in which the main classes are listed is often discussed at the theoretical level, and some orders are considered to be better than others.

The aim of this study is to reveal the categorizational and classificatory features of the subject-based classification (SBC) as a subject organization system. For this purpose, 12 SBC schemes of public libraries were selected and a comparative analysis was made between the traditional classification system, such as DDC and SBC in terms of the categorizational aspects, and canons for the classification. As a result, there were significant and considerable differences between the two types of classifications. This study concluded that SBC cannot be clearly explained and understood without a consideration of its essential and distinctive characteristics as a classification scheme.

정보검색 시스템의 성능을 향상시키기 위해서 다양한 용어가중치 공식이 제안 되어왔다. 용어가중치는 질의와 문헌을 비교하는 검색의 경우뿐만 아니라 문헌과 문헌을 비교하는 자동분류에서도 성능에 영향을 미칠 수가 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 용어가중치 공식에 대해서 살펴보고, 문헌 자동분류 성능에 미치는 영향을 문헌 클러스터링 실험과 범주화 실험을 통해 확인해 보았다.

브라우저를 통해서 보는 웹 문서는 보이는 문서 내용 이외에 많은 풍부한 정보들을 원시 문서에 포함하고 있다. 웹 문서 색인 및 분류 과정에서 이런 관련 정보를 효율적으로 사용한다면 색인어에 가중치를 부여하거나 문헌 분류과정에서 밀접하게 관련된 문헌들끼리 분류가 가능하다. 잘 색인된 색이어 집합 및 잘 분류된 문헌 집합은 검색자의 질의어에 대한 검색 견과의 문헌집합들에 대한 문헌 순위화를 효율적으로 수행하여 사용자로 하여금 검색 시간을 줄여줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹 문서를 대상으로 한 검색 시스템에서 검색 효율을 향상시키기 위하여 웹 문서의 구조적인 정보들을 이용한 방법들에 대하여 고찰해 본다. 색인 과정, 문헌 분류과정 순위화 과정에서 활용한 방법들에 대하여 중점적으로 살펴본다.

This study investigated the classification performance of a kNN classifier using the feature selection methods based on document frequency(DF) and collection frequency(CF). The results of the experiments, which used HKIB-20000 data, were as follows. First, the feature selection methods that used high-frequency terms and removed low-frequency terms by the CF criterion achieved better classification performance than those using the DF criterion. Second, neither DF nor CF methods performed well when low-frequency terms were selected first in the feature selection process. Last, combining CF and DF criteria did not result in better classification performance than using the single feature selection criterion of DF or CF.

본 연구는 범주와 현대의 주요 문헌분류표의 주류선정에 있어서의 상관성에 대해 규명해보고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저, 범주의 유래와 의미를 알아보고 철학적 관점, 논리학적 관점, 문헌정보학 관점에서 범주가 어떤 기능을 하고 어떠한 유형이 있는지 논하였다. 다음으로 문헌분류의 주류선정이 어떻게 이루어지고, 범주가 어떻게 적용되었는지 그 상관성에 대해서 분석하였다.

It wants to be devoted fer the development of the schedules for Christianity.

The objective of this study is to identify performance factors in the automatic classification of records by utilizing metadata that contains the contextual information of records. For this study, we collected 97,064 records of original textual information from Korean central administrative agencies in 2022. Various classification algorithms, data selection methods, and feature extraction techniques are applied and compared with the intent to discern the optimal performance-inducing technique. The study results demonstrated that among classification algorithms, Random Forest displayed higher performance, and among feature extraction techniques, the TF method proved to be the most effective. The minimum data quantity of unit tasks had a minimal influence on performance, and the addition of features positively affected performance, while their removal had a discernible negative impact.

This study investigated general problems concerning the food and nutrition field in the KDC 4th edition based comparative analysis DOC, NDC, and Disciplinary Classification System of Korean Research Foundation, and suggested on some ideas for the improvements of them. Results of the study is summarized as follows. First, the knowledge classification of the food and nutrition field is divided by nutrition, food, and food service management. Second, the library classification of the food and nutrition field deals separately with nutrition and food, namely the nutrition is subdivided in medical science and food is subdivided in home economics. Third, the food and nutrition field in the KDC 4th edition had to be improved to use current terminology, to choose appropriate headings, and to subdivide the subjects more to introduce new topics.
