  • This study is developed vehicle information detector using loop and piezo sensors. This study would analyze the over all problems concerning our road conditions, environmental matters and unique features of our traffic matters; moreover, with these it would develope the hardware, software, car classification algorithm applied by artificial intelligence and traffic monitoring program which can be easily fixed. This can be divided into traffic detecting algorithm and car classification algorithm. Especially, we have developed the car classification algorithm used by C-means Fuzzy Clustering method.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of book review in the daily newspaper. Literature and social science are relatively main subject area reviewed at the daily Donga, Hankuk Mail. Each newspaper has different size of page that make much differences in quantity and quality of reviewed books, bookreviewers, and book reviews. Frequency of daily newspapers assure comparatively short timelag-intervals between publication date and review date.

  • This study investigates the general problems in classifying materials by and related to Shakespeare in the university libraries and suggests a new analytico-synthetic system based on the analysis on the related classes on the major classification systems including DDC, LCC, CC, etc. and other studies and hompages In the area or Shakespeare study. New system consists of four facets, and Its facet formula is “generalities + form + works + language,” each of which includes Its own foci.

  • In this paper, we write about EDISON program. We study about where to use this program. We can use this program for FEA naturally. But we study that using this program in class. Many students can't understand many mechanics of materials' problem. They want to see image such as change of beam. It can help students to understand many problem. We can use ANSYS or Abaqus. But EDISON program is better for students because of it is freeware. In this paper, I write two problem. One is peak stress of basic beam, another is shearing stress flow of I-beam. On the basis of this, EDISON program will be widely used.

  • 본 연구에서는 도로 교통 정보검출을 위하여 사용되는 검지기 가운데 비매설형 차량검지 기술에 대한 분석을 통하여 국내환경에 적합한 검지기술의 기본 기능을 설정하였다. 분석된 검지기는 15개의 국내외 검지시스템으로 검지 성능 분석과 국내 적용시 발생되는 문제점을 파악하여 설계시 필요한 기본 계획을 설정하였다.

A Study on Reading Guidance for Creativity Enhancement by Using Fantasy Literature (팬터지를 이용한 독서지도에 관한 연구: 학생들의 창의력 제고를 중심으로)

  • The author describes the reasons why fantasy literature is more useful for reading guidance than realistic fiction. The activities of the human brain are in accordance with the activities of creating fantastic stories. She explains that the characteristics of creativity. according to the findings of psychologists and neuroscientists, are inherent in the activities of the human brain which is integrating information. These properties of information integrating are strongly immanent in fantasy literature. Fantasy literature provides the brains of readers with opportunities to integrate information because of its heterogeneity, for fantasy literature includes both realistic and unrealistic characters and settings comparable to those of realistic fiction. Also fantasy literature appeals to the curiosity and interest of young people, so students easily pay attention to it. Therefore, the author recommends that teacher-librarians use fantasy literature for reading guidance for students. In order to achieve successful reading guidance at school libraries, the author recommends the following. 1) A school library should have teacher-librarians who are well grounded in literature. 2) School authorities should elevate the teacher-librarian’s status to the same level as that of other teachers and create conditions such that teacher-librarians can best carry out their responsibilities. 4) It is necessary that a variety of lesson plans be developed for use by teacher-librarians.

  • Since interdisciplinary convergence could beyond the borders of each disciplines, it is able to create new and meaningful knowledge through collaborative research between different study areas. Especially, in recent years, the Digital Humanities has attracted the attention as the convergence form of the Humanities and ICT. From a research methodology perspective, the Digital Humanities is a tool that can be used as a convergence system for various information utilization such as storage, retrieve, share, and spread. In view of Information system, Digital Humanities has been constructed and used in a variety of systems. Among them, studies related to information visualization for the Digital Humanities have been actively conducted. To visualize data or information, various types such as images, multimedia, interface, and etc could be applied. In this paper, we analyze the cases of various information visualization in digital humanities systems, and propose a method to utilize them in the Humanities and Area Studies.

A Study on Faceted Navigation of the Public Libraries (공공도서관의 패싯 내비게이션에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to construct faceted navigation useful for domestic users through analyzing English and North American public libraries' faceted navigations. The 19 domestic libraries and the 12 foreign libraries has been chosen for analyzing their unique facets. Although the domestic libraries' facets had no differences to the domestic universities' facets, the North American libraries have their unique facets. Those facets are target audience, genre, library list, user tags, and availability related facets and the facets are mainly to improve user's usability in using library catalog. Adopting the facets in domestic public libraries by using Fixed-Length data elements of KORMARC, domestic public libraries will enhance usability of library users in retrieving library materials.

  • A Development of a data logger for monitoring wasted water is introduced. A characteristics of the system with microcontroller are simple and cheaper. A portable RAM card is consisted for saving a monitored data. Serial communication is adopted to communicate with a remote monitoring computer. CSMA/CD, which is used widely as MAC(Medium Access Control) in ethernet, is modified to apply a RS485 serial communication. When the measured values run over a limit values, the data logger takes alarm.
