Implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication System Using Image Dictionary and Verbal based Sentence Generation Rule (이미지 사전과 동사기반 문장 생성 규칙을 활용한 보완대체 의사소통 시스템 구현)

  • The present study implemented AAC(Augmentative and Alternative Communication) system using images that speech defectives can easily understand. In particular, the implementation was focused on the portability and mobility of the AAC system as well as communication system of a more flexible form. For mobility and portability, we implemented a system operable in mobile devices such as PDA so that speech defectives can communicate as food as ordinary People at any Place using the system Moreover, in order to overcome the limitation of storage space for a large volume of image data, we implemented the AAC system in client/server structure in mobile environment. What is more, for more flexible communication, we built an image dictionary by taking verbs as the base and sub-categorizing nouns according to their corresponding verbs, and regularized the types of sentences generated according to the type of verb, centering on verbs that play the most important role in composing a sentence.

  • To attain an understanding of customers' opinions or demands regarding a companies' products or service, it is important to consider VOC (Voice of Customer) data; however, it is difficult to understand contexts from VOC because segmented and duplicate sentences and a variety of dialog contexts. In this article, POS (part of speech) and morphemes were selected as language resources due to their semantic importance regarding documents, and based on these, we defined an LSP (Lexico-Semantic-Pattern) to understand the structure and semantics of the sentences and extracted summary by key sentences; furthermore the LSP was introduced to connect the segmented sentences and remove any contextual repetition. We also defined the LSP by categories and classified the documents based on those categories that comprise the main sentences matched by LSP. In the experiment, we classified the VOC-data documents for the creation of a summarization before comparing the result with the previous methodologies.

A Systematic Literature Review on Teaching Mathematical Word Problems for Elementary School Students with Disabilities (초등학교 장애학생 수학 문장제 문제 국내 연구 동향 및 질적지표에 의한 분석: 단일대상연구를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to synthesize intervention studies, which utilized single case experimental design, on teaching mathematical word problems for elementary school students with disabilities and evaluate each of their methodological rigor. The researchers reviewed all studies from 2000 to 2022 that involved teaching mathematical word problems to individuals with disabilities. A total of 12 studies was included for a final analysis. Most of the interventions were delivered by researchers for about 30-40 minutes per session to elementary school students with disabilities. Schema-based instruction, cognitive-metacognitive strategy, and technology-based instruction were used as intervention methods, and explicit instruction was mostly used in conjunction with them. On the other hand, the researchers found that none of research articles met quality indicators for single case experimental design according to Cook et al. (2015). Limitation and directions for future research were also discussed.

An Analysis of Korean Language Learners' Understanding According to the Types of Terms in School Mathematics (수학과 용어 유형에 따른 한국어학습자의 이해 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and types of errors in the conceptual image of Korean language learners according to the types of terms in mathematics that are the basis for solving mathematical word problems, and to prepare basic data for effective teaching and learning methods in solving the word problems of Korean language learners. To do this, a case study was conducted targeting four Korean language learners to analyze the specific conceptual images of terms registered in curriculum and terms that were not registered in curriculum but used in textbooks. As a result of this study, first, it is necessary to guide Korean language learners by using sufficient visualization material so that they can form appropriate conceptual definitions for terms in school mathematics. Second, it is necessary to understand the specific relationship between the language used in the home of Korean language learners and the conceptual image of terms in school mathematics. Third, it is necessary to pay attention to the passive term, which has difficulty in understanding the meaning rather than the active term. Fourth, even for Korean language learners who do not have difficulties in daily communication, it is necessary to instruct them on everyday language that are not registered in the curriculum but used in math textbooks. Fifth, terms in school mathematics should be taught in consideration of the types of errors that reflect the linguistic characteristics of Korean language learners shown in the explanation of terms. This recognition is expected to be helpful in teaching word problem solving for Korean language learners with different linguistic backgrounds.

Information Extraction for Air Travel Dialogue System Using Hierarchical Information Types and Contextual Features (계층적 정보유형과 문맥정보를 사용한 항공여행대화시스템에서의 예약정보 추출)

  • 대화시스템은 사용자가 자연언어를 사용하여 해당 시스템과 필요한 정보를 주고받는 목적 지향적 에이전트로서 활용되어 왔다. 이러한 대화형 에이전트는 사용자의 입력으로부터 필요한 정보를 정확하게 추출함으로써 이후 처리단계에서의 결과를 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 항공여행관련 대화에서 발생하는 예약정보들 중에서 경유정보, 특히 경유하는 시간 및 날짜에 대한 정보를 효과적으로 추출하는 방법에 대해서 다룬다. 출발 도착정보와 경유정보를 계층적으로 분류하고, 현재 발화되고 있는 문장보다 선행되고 있는 문장들의 예약정보들을 문맥정보로 사용하여 현재 문장에서 추출하고자 하는 정보들을 학습하고 평가하였다. 이를 통해서 얻어진 결과는 출발.도착 및 경유정보를 동시에 고려했을 때보다 효과적인 학습 성능을 보였으며 실제로 시간정보에 대해서는 81.5%, 날짜정보에 대해서는 92.0%의 정확도를 보였다.

A Topic Classification System Based on Clue Expressions for Person-Related Questions and Passages (단서표현 기반의 인물관련 질의-응답문 문장 주제 분류 시스템)

  • In general, Q&A system retrieves passages by matching terms of a question in order to find an answer to the question. However it is difficult for Q&A system to find a correct answer because too many passages are retrieved and matching using terms is not enough to rank them according to their relevancy to a question. To alleviate this problem, we introduce a topic for a sentence, and adopt it for ranking in Q&A system. We define a set of person-related topic class and a clue expression which can indicate a topic of a sentence. A topic classification system proposed in this paper can determine a target topic for an input sentence by using clue expressions, which are manually collected from a corpus. We explain an architecture of the topic classification system and evaluate the performance of the components of this system.

  • 수사구조는 텍스트의 각 구성 성분이 맺고 있는 관계를 의미하며, 필자의 의도는 논리적인 구조를 통해서 독자에게 더 잘 전달될 수 있다. 따라서 독자의 인지적 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 수사구조를 고려하여 단락과 문장 구조를 구성하는 것이 필요하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 수사구조에 기초한 한국어 분류체계를 만들거나 주석 코퍼스를 설계하려는 시도가 없었다. 본 연구에서는 기존 수사구조 이론을 기반으로, 한국어 보도문 형식에 적합한 30개 유형의 분류체계를 정제하고 최소 담화 단위별로 태깅한 코퍼스를 구축하였다. 또한 구축한 코퍼스를 토대로 중심문장을 비롯한 문장 구조의 특징과 분포 비율, 신문기사의 장르적 특성 등을 살펴봄으로써 텍스트에서 응집성의 실현 양상과 구문상의 특징을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 한국어 담화 구문에 적합한 수사구조 분류체계를 설계하고 이를 이용한 주석 코퍼스를 최초로 구축하였다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

  • 시소러스의 연관관계는 유형의 세분화에 관한 원칙과 방법론의 부재로 시소러스를 구축하는 기관에서 개별적인 분류를 사용하고 있다. 분류에 적용되는 패싯지시어 모형에 관한 연구는 계속 되고 있지만 그 타당성을 뒷받침 할 실증적 사례연구는 찾아볼 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 Inspec에서 구축한 시소러스 중에 일정 기준으로 선정한 우선어와 관련어를 대상으로 IEL에서 제공하는 문헌에서 두 용어가 동시에 출현하는 문장을 찾아 그 연관관계 모형을 제안한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to actively utilize the type of tension of Sijo in literary therapy programs. I will examine the Sijo of the Bang-yeon Wang. The Sijo of the Bang-yeon Wang is not known much yet, so we will discuss it. The Sijo of the Bang-yeon Wang has the effect of conveying the meaning while the modifier tensions the next sentence. This literary framework can be useful for literary therapy programs.

The Development of Speech Synthesizer In Korean TTS System (한국어 문어변환 시스템 내에서의 음성 합성기 개발)

  • 본 논문은 매 40ms 정도의 음성파형으로부터 추출된 6내지 9ms 정도의 1피치주기 파형을 합성단위로 사용하여 합성시킨 시간영역에서의합성방식을 한국어 문어 변환 시스템내에서의 음성합성기에 적용시킨 연구결과이다. 시험 결과, 4가지 유형의 한국어 음절 합성이 가능하고, 장단강약과 같은 운율요소의 제어가 용이하고, 또한 합성 알고리즘이 간단하여 실시간 처리가 가능하였으나, 문장 단위의 음성을 합성하기 위하여는 문장내에서의 다양한 피치 패턴에 대한 연구와 이의 효율적인 제어에 관한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 합성음에 대한 평가방법으로는 원음과 합성음에 대한 시간영역에서의 파형비교, 주파수 영역에서의 스펙트럼 포락선 유사성 비교 및 합성음에 대한 청취도 실험을 행하였다.
