기존의 전화망을 중심으로 하는 통신 산업은 최근의 폭발적인 유·무선 데이터 서비스 증가로 원래 데이터 서비스를 위하여 설계된 것에 다양한 데이터 응용 서비스의 하나로 전화 서비스를 수용할 수 있는 새로운 통신 인프라를 구축하려는 시도가 이루어지고 있으며 이것은 통합적으로 차세대 통신망(NGN, Next Generation Network)의 개념에서 출발하고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 NGN으로의 진화에 따른 고려 사항 중 보안에 대한 것에 초점을 맞추어 논의하고자 한다. 그리고, 논의의 편의상 NGN 보안을 유선계와 무선계로 나누어 소개한다.

최근 들어 무선 인터넷 시장이 형성되면서 이동성을 기반으로 하는 서비스에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 그리고, 휴대폰, PDA와 같은 휴대용 단말기의 사용이 일반화된 가운데 GPS를 기반으로 하는 서비스들도 점차적으로 보편화되어 가고 있다. 이러한 변화에 따라 이동성을 지원하는 무선 단말기를 기반으로 한 모바일 GIS 환경에서의 위치 정보 활용은 크나큰 관심을 불러들이고 있으며, 또한 이러한 서비스를 효율적으로 제공하기 위해서 위치 기반 서비스(LBS: Location Based Service)의 기술 개발이 절대적으로 필요하게 되었다.(중략)

Wireless Internet is capable of transmitting data for voice, text and video by wireless network, and recently wireless internet industry is one of the most widely issued. And, Operators, device manufacturers and contents providers are busy in developing technology and standardization. In this paper, we focus on the trends of standardization for wireless internet to enhance the industry and to have a competition compared to other countries. Lastly, we analysed the government's policy for wireless internet.

As a variety of wireless network services, such as WLAN, WiBro, cdma2000, and HSDPA, are provided and the range of users' choices for the wireless services are broaden, MCoA (Multiple Car-of Address) concepts that enable users to use wireless interfaces simultaneously have been presented in IETF MONAMI6 WG. Through this scheme, users can access several networks simultaneously by using multiple wireless interfaces. Such various wireless connection technologies continue to advance as they are connected and integrated to All-IP-based core network, and at the same time, heterogeneous networks are being managed overlaid according to the coverage of the wireless connection technologies. Under such circumstances, needs for an integrated architecture have arisen, and thus Wireless service framework is required that effectively manages heterogeneous networks which coexist with next generation's networks for 4G. In this paper, a wireless service framework is suggested in the consideration of current wireless service environment, and the framework covers the schemes to minimize the packet loss caused by handover, and also modified Multiple Care-of Address that helps to select most effective network by considering characteristics of various interfaces as well as users' preferences.

무선 ad-hoc 네트워크는 중앙 집중화된 관리 시스템이나 지원 서비스 없이 동적으로 임시 네트워크를 구성하는 이동 호스트(MH)들의 집합이다. 이러한 네트워크는 백본 호스트나 다른 MH로의 연결을 제공하기 위한 고정된 제어장치를 갖지 않으며, 각 MH가 라우터로 동작하며 전달받은 패킷을 다른 MH로 전달한다. 이러한 무선 ad-hoc 네트워크에서 단순히 최선의 서비스만을 제공하던 기존의 방법과 달리, 많은 사용자가 요구하는 QoS 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 기존 네트워크를 효율적으로 최대 활용하는 방안에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 ad-hoc 네트워크 내에서 QoS 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기법으로 각각의 이동 호스트들은 QoS DAG 그래프를 유지하며 이러한 그래프를 바탕으로 만들어진 QoS 정보 패킷을 이웃 이동 호스트들에게 지역 브로드캐스트 함으로써 전역적인 QoS 정보의 검색과 운용없이, 유용한 QoS 정보를 전역적으로 각 이동 호스트가 유지할 수 있고 이를 바탕으로 효율적인 QoS 라우팅이 수행되어지는 기법이다.

Wireless internet is embossed the new keyword of IT technology in the world lately. The wireless internet is the architecture, technology and service to be can taken data communication and internet service using wireless device through connecting internet in the wireless environment. These wireless internet technology is extends the scope of using information with the existing wire internet technology. But, It is necessary to be extend supply of quantitative and qualitative for using wireless internet technology efficiently. For these matters, it is efficient to reuse good qualify contents that is serviced on wire environments. Then, in this paper, design and implement the technique of creating con-tents that is made by the method of compounding parts based on the contents automatic reuse technology over the concept of creating new wireless contents.

오늘날 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발전과 함께 인터넷은 그 용도를 점차 넓혀가고 있으며 기존의 유선망에서 무선망을 이용한 무선데이터 서비스가 점차 활성화되고 있다. 현재 무선망에서 사용되는 프로토콜은 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)이 가장 널리 사용되고 있다. 그런데 이 무선망에서 사용되는 무선 단말기의 낮은 데이터 전송속도 및 연산능력에 의하여 기존의 소프트웨어로 구현된 WAP으로는 기존 무선단말기의 성능 향상에 한계가 있다 특히 WAP의 한 계층인 WTLS(Wireless Transport Layer Security)는 보안의 기능을 담당하는 계층으로 복잡한 연산 과정을 수행한다 본 논문에서는 WTLS 프로토콜 중에서 실질적인 보안 서비스를 제공하는 레코드 프로토콜(record protocol)) 을 하드웨어 모듈로 구현함으로써 기존의 시스템과 비교하고 앞으로의 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

본 논문은 유선망에서의 {{{{ {SM}^{ 2}A }}}} 무선 ATM 망으로 확장한 방안의 소개한다. {{{{ {SM}^{ 2}A }}}}는 기본적으로 양방향성 공유트리방식의 CBT(Core Baeed Tree)구조를 갖는다. 각 지역망(Regional Network))은 하나의 통신그룹단위를 형성하여 자체적인 코어스위치를 보유하고 이들 코어가 공붕망을 통해 연결되므로써 결과적으로 다중코어 구조를 갖는다. 한편, 무선 ATM 망에서 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공은 유선망에서의 멀티캐스트 서비스제공방식과는 몇가지 점에서 차이를 가지며 보다 복잡하다. 즉, 동적 그룹관리, 멀티캐스트 채널의 재설정문제, 멀리캐스트 가입 호스트의 핸드오프(Handoff) 문제들이 해결되어야 하는데. {{{{ {SM}^{ 2}A }}}}에는 위의 다양한 문제들을 해결하였으며 더불어 인터넷 멀티캐스트 서비스를 무선망에서 수용하기 위한 안정적 데이터 전송 메커니즘도 제안한다.

초고속 인터넷의 보급이 일반화되고, PDA 및 노트북 등의 휴대 이동 컴퓨팅 기기의 사용이 증가하면서, 점차 이동 인터넷 서비스를 요구하는 사용자의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 현재 무선 인터넷 제공을 위한 주요 인프라는 이동 통신망이나 무선랜 망이다. 그러나 무선랜 망 기술의 경우 2 계층에서 이동성을 지원하기 때문에 하부 기술에 대한 의존성으로 인하여 도메인 내에서의 이동서에 대해서만 지원하므로 다른 도메인영역으로의 이동을 지원하는데는 어려움이 있다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 이동 인터넷 사용자들에게 끊김 없는 서비스 제공 및 핸드오프 지연을 줄이기 위하여 IEEE 무선랜 기반 2 계층 핸드오프 기술과 3 계층에서의 이동성을 제공함으로써 하부기술에 독립적인 글로벌 로밍을 지원하는 Mobile IPv6 기술을 제안하고 또한 3 계층에서의 핸드오프 지연 감소 및 핸드오프시에 실시간 서비스 제공을 위한 Mobile IPv6 Fast 핸드오버에 대한 기술의 장, 단점을 연구분석하고 2 계층 및 3 계층 핸드오프 기술의 연동을 통하여 실시간 서비스를 위한 보다 향상된 핸드오프를 수행할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

휴대인터넷(WiBro: Wireless Broadband)은 언제 어디서나 고속으로 무선 인터넷 접속이 가능한 서비스를 위한 기술이다. 노트북을 비롯한 휴대가 간편한 PDA, 스마트폰으로 사람이 보행 또는 차량 주행 중에서도 끊김 없이(seamless) 무선 인터넷 서비스가 가능하다. 이동성과 고속 무선 통신이 가능한 서비스에서 중요한 기술 요소 중 하나가 보안이다. 본 논문은 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 WiBro 무선 네트워크에서의 USIM 기반 EAP-AKA 인증 프로토콜 보안 요구사항 안전성을 정형기법 툴인 AVISPA를 이용하여 명세 및 검증해 본다.
