  • Tele-medicine and emergency medical system are necessary for moving from an accidental point or far distance to a hospital and emergency treatment or home treatment before a hospital. Emergency treatment is extremely important in the case of death before arriving a hospital and deformed of disabled by medical treatment delay. A necessary element for this medical system is the emergency communication system. This system is on preparing for an ability of furnishing patient status to a corresponding health service by monitoring the patient at an ambulance of the accident place. This is the transportation of basic biological information of a patient to a medical center by wireless communication system and the corresponding hospital of medical center examine the patient by monitoring, then they can send emergency medical order to the patient for emergency treatment. The TRS is most efficient way of emergency medical communication system, which is currently used with popularity. In this paper studied simultaneously a way of detecting and transporting bio-logical signals, and monitoring of transporting data with communication of voice in the accident place of ambulance.

  • 이 연구는 선주, 선원노동조합, 정부기관, 선원교육기관 등 선원유관단체들의 선원보건의료 실태와 선내 응급의료지원 실태 등에 대한 인식도 조사를 실시하여 의료사각지대인 선내의료 및 선원 건강관리 여건을 개선하기 위한 방향을 제안하고, 향후 선내 의료지원제도 개선방향에 대한 기초자료 제시와 개선점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다.

  • 기존 연구에서 환자의 응급 상황이 발생했을 경우 병원에 도착하기 전 신속하고 정확한 체계적인 관리가 환자의 생명에 많은 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과가 보고되고 있다. 대부분의 어플리케이션에서는 많은 응급 상황에 대해 실시간 생체 신호들을 모니터링이 하기 위해 전송되는 생체 신호들은 많은 제한을 두고 있으므로 이런 생체 신호들을 무선 통신 기반에서 효율적인 설계가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 응급 상황의 이동 중에 환자의 생체 데이터와 환자의 영상을 실시간으로 전문가에게 전송하는 시스템을 설계함으로써 병원에 도착하기까지 숙련된 전문 의료 서비스 지원을 통해서 의사가 환자의 데이터를 분석 및 평가하고 치료 과정에서 환자의 처방을 즉각적으로 지시할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선공중망을 이용하여 재택 혹은 원거리에서도 환자의 상태를 확인하고 감시함으로써 의료서비스의 이동성을 제공하기 위한 의료정보 무선전송 시스템을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션 하였다. 제안한 방법은 응급상황 발생 시 의료정보를 디지털 데이터로 변환하여 PDA와 같은 이동형 단말에 전송함으로써 신속한 응급처치 등이 가능토록 한다. 시뮬레이션은 이동 무선채널환경에서 신뢰성 있는 의료정보의 전송을 위하여 IEEE 802.11a에 근거한 OFDM/QPSK 전송방식을 사용하였고, AWGN과 3-ray 이동 다중경로 페이딩 환경에서 신뢰성 있는 정보전송을 위하여 콘볼루션 코딩을 적용하여 시스템 성능을 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, aim to suggest the medical information wireless transmission system to provide the mobility of medical service by means of wireless area network which makes it possible, home or at a long range, to check and oversee the state of patients, and to can out a simulation. The proposed method converts medical information to digital data in an emergency and sends them to mobile terminals such as PDAs to make possible swift first aid. The simulation took advantage of the OFDM transmission method based on IEEE 802.1la in order to send reliable medical information in mobile wireless channel environment, and analyzed the system performance by applying convolution encoding to transmit reliable information in AWGN and 3-ray mobile multipath fading channel environment.

  • 의료시스템은 모든 것이 병원 네트워크를 중심으로 의료 서비스가 제공되어 진다. 하지만 자연재해, 천재지변과 같은 갑작스런 환자 발생으로 인한 응급 이동 사항, 혹은 진료자의 외진 및 환자 방문시에는 일반 데스크탑 PC에서 이루어지는 상태의 의료 서비스가 아닌 휴대하기 간편하고 언제 어디서나 의료서비스를 받을 수 있는 Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)와 같은 휴대용 기기에서의 의료시스템이 필요하다. PDA는 휴대가 용이하며 유선 네트워크 시스템에 구애받지 않는 무선 모바일 장비로서 무선 통신이 가능한 곳이라면 언제 어디서라도 환자에 대한 의료 정보를 조회할 수 있다. 또한 PDA의 통신 기술로서 병원과의 실시간 통신이 가능하여 응급 환자에 대해 빠른 진료를 제공 할 수 있다. 이와 더불어 임베디드기기 프로세서의 발달로 인하여 연산처리 기술도 많은 향상을 가져왔고 이로 인하여 기존의 PDA에서의 문제였던 DICOM영상의 조회 및 처리속도에도 많은 향상을 가져왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 의료영상 표준인 DICOM표준을 따르며 이동성이라는 장점을 통하여 언제 어디서나 손쉽게 진료자가 환자의 의료정보 및 의료 영상을 조회할 수 있도록 하는 PDA용 모바일 의료영상 조회 시스템을 PXA255 기반의 Embedded Linux 상에서 QT/C++을 사용하여 구현하였다.

A Study on Wearable Emergency Medical Alarm System (착용형 응급의료 경보시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • In modern society, development of medical technology has extended the human life span. However, it has also caused some side-effects. Mostly old people who live alone are not available the medical service quickly when they are in emergency situations. Moreover heart related diseases as well are rapidly increasing with aging. This study proposes the emergency medical alarm system. This system measures the physiological signals such as ECG(electrocardiogram), temperature, and motion data, analyzes those data automatically, and sends the urgent message to the Emergency Medical Center and to their family. There are two main parts in the system. In the first part, physiological data acquisition part, the troublesome addition and deletion of body signals on existing proposed systems have been supplemented, which led to the modulized production by means of ECG sensor module, temperature sensor module, acceleration sensor module. The other part is mobile unit, which includes signal processing and transmission functions. And bluetooth allows two parts to communicate with each other. Data that are processed in the mobile unit are stored in the PC database through the WLAN using TCP/IP protocol.

  • Though there were many research and development about telemedicine on land recently, not yet applied to that on the shore. In this paper, when emergency clinic situation were generated in a ship on shore, the telemedicine system was designed and implemented for transfer and clinic service to doctors on the land by measuring basic body signals of patients. Presently, wireless communication and inmarsat telephone are usually used by simple questions and clinic consults to remote doctors when emergency situation were happened in the ship. In this paper, the telemedicine system on the shore were developed for improving this problems by measuring patient's fundamental conditions such as the blood pressure, pulse, the respiratory condition, electrocardiogram, body temperature, patient image and sending these information to remote doctors on land for more accurate prescription. The developed system can supply the high level clinic service to emergency patients on the shore and cope with the emergency situation in ship.

A Research on the Perception Level of Seafarer Related Organizations in Seafarer's Actual Health Care Conditions (선원유관단체의 선원 보건의료실태 인식도 조사)

  • This research was conducted to provide an improvement plan concerning medical treatment on board and medical health care conditions for seafarers. 139 persons from government agencies and seafarer related organizations, who could influence the government's seafarers healthcare policy-making, were asked to fill in the questionnaire prepared for this research about their perceptive views on actual condition of health and disease management for seafarers. The results of the survey on seafarer's health care management conditions(p<0.01), health care manage ability(p<0.01), current radio emergency medical service policy(p<0.01), usefulness of on board medicine chest and medical equipment(p<0.05), and the system of the onboard medical care persons show the difference of perception level among the seafarer related organizations. But generally, the rate of negative responses was high. And this research suggests that there is an urgent need to provide portable health measurement equipment on board, reenforce regular medical examination and establish the seafarer's health promotion center for telemedicine and healthcare management(p<0.01) in order to improve the onboard medical treatment support system for healthcare of seafarers.

  • In this paper, the module for measuring SpO2 and PPG(Photo Plethysmo Graphy) signal of human body and the module for wireless communication of these bio-signals to PC were developed. The program was developed to display transmitted SpO2 and PPG signal by various type data and graph without information loss during a emergency transfer. This system can be utilized as appropriate for remote medical care and a new market is expected, to be created according to revision of medical law.
