  • 기온이 내려가기 시작하면 사람들은 몸과 마음도 움츠러들어 바깥 생활을 줄이고 행동이 둔해질 뿐만 아니라 일상생활에 제약을 받기 마련이다. 그렇다 보니 자연스럽게 추위를 피해 많은 사람이 따뜻한 실내에서만 생활을 하게 되는데, 밀폐된 실내는 미세한 먼지나 오염 물질로 차게 되고, 감기 바이러스를 가진 사람들이 그 공간으로 들어올 경우 쉽게 감염이 된다. 따뜻한 실내에서만 지내던 사람들이 추운 외부에 노출되면서 둔한 활동으로 말미암아 그렇지 않아도 미끄러운 길에서 넘어져 다치는 사고가 잦아지고, 고혈압이나 당뇨가 있는 사람들은 뇌졸중 등의 사고를 당하기도 한다. 또 추위와 이에 따른 밀폐된 생활, 그리고 건조한 환경 속에서 독감, 감기, 천식 등을 포함한 호흡기 질환에 쉽게 걸리기도 한다. 그렇지만 우리 몸은 환경의 변화에 못지않은 적응력을 가지고 있기 때문에 아무리 추운 겨울이라도 평소 규칙적인 생활 습관을 통하여 활기차고 건강한 생활을 할 수 있다.

  • 능동적 객체지향 시스템에서는 객체의 행동을 감시하기 위하여 트리거들의 정의가 필수적이므로 객체지향 데이터 모델과 트리거 모델의 무리없는 통합이 요구된다. 객체지향 개념은 트리거 시스템의 수행 모델과 트리거들의 명세에 영향을 주기 때문에 트리거 시스템도 객체지향 모델의 특성인 캡슐화, 상속, 재정의, 다형성 등을 지원하고 동적으로 생성 및 관리가 가능하여야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 요구들을 만족하는 트리거 모델과 클래스 계층구조상에서의 트리거를 설계하고 능동적 객체지향 트리거 시스템의 수행 모델을 제시한다.

  • 상시 이용가능한 전천후, 범세계적인 정확한 항법을 개발하는 것이 항해자들의 숙원이었다. 이제 시스템의 보완의 문제가 국제적인 규모에 초점이 맞추어 진다면 현시점의 기술로도 이 숙원이 앞으로 10년 내에 이루어 질 가능성이 엿보인다. 범세계적인 전파항법은 그 정의상 수신지점이 아무리 멀리 떨어지고 고립되어 있다 하더라도 육·해·공 어디서나 아무런 전파간섭 없이 수신될 수 있는 것이어야 한다. 범세계적인 항법방식을 채택하는 데 있어서 중요하게 고려되는 사항은 간섭이 없는 주파수 스펙트럼의 이용과 전파항법의 송신사양의 발천이다. 국가안보를 위한 항해와 민간의 목적을 위한 항해 사이의 갈등과 국가간의 요구의 상이는 국가적 결정과 국제적 협력을 위한 의미있는 도전을 나타낸다. 송신국이 육지에 있는 장거리항법방식 2가지, 즉 Loran-C와 Omega는 현재 시행되고 있으며, 인공위성항법방식이 앞으로 실현될 가능성이 있는데, 지금이 바로 행동을 취할 때라고 제안한다. 본 논문은 Loran-C와 Omega 방식의 기술사양서 발행의 절실한 필요성과 이러한 범세계적인 전파항법의 송신에 요구되는 주파수, 스펙트럼의 정의의 필요성을 기술한다. 그리고 국제 전기통신협회의 후원하에 1979년 Genova에서 열린 World Administrative Radio Conference에 앞서서 주의를 요하는 특별한 기술적인 분야에 대해서 기술한다.

Territorial Behaviour of Eightspine Stickleback, Pungitius sinensis kaibarae in Korea (한국산 잔가시고기(Pungitius sinensis kaibarae)의 텃세 행동)

  • In order to investigate territorial behaviour, Pungitius sinensis kaibarae were collected from Sacheon-river, Kangwon-do, Korea. They are reared in aquarium with designed experimental region from March to May 1996. In this study, territorial behaviour was divided into 1) pre-territorial movements of a shoal under varying water-weeds position 2) individual ranking patterns in connection with total length of fish 3) the change in size of territorial maps during the parental stage. The movements of a shoal tend to prefer regions with water-weeds and the lower half of the aquarium. Competition for territory was fierce, and fish that are longer in total length dominate smaller one in occupying territory. Both males and females developed territorial behaviour as they grew. However, male's territory was enlarged according to the hatching and dispersion of fry. At this time, aggressive tendencies reached their peak.

Analysis of Behaviour of Prey to avoid Pursuit using Quick Rotation (급회전을 이용한 희생자의 추격 피하기 행동 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the behaviour of a prey to avoid the pursuit of a predator at predator-prey relationship to be appeared in the collective behavior of animals. One of the methods to avoid the pursuit of a predator is to rotate quickly when a predator arrives near to it. At that moment, a critical distance and a rotating angular are very important for the prey in order to survive from the pursuit, where the critical distance is the distance between the predator and the prey just before rotation. In order to analyze the critical distance and the rotating angular, this paper introduces the energy for a predator which it has at starting point of the chase and consumes during the chase. Through simulations, we can know that the rotating angle for a prey to survive from the pursuit is increased when the critical distance is shorter and when the ratio of predator's mass and prey's mass is also decreased. The results of simulations are the similar phenomenon in nature and therefore it means that the method to analyze in this paper is correct.

The Role of Personal and Social Dimensions in the Determination of the Intention to use Smartphone-based Mobile Banking Services: An Empirical Investigation (스마트폰 기반 모바일 뱅킹 서비스 수용의도의 선행요인으로서 개인적 영향요인과 사회적 영향요인의 역할에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • Although mobile banking provides cost-saving opportunities as well as convenient banking experience for customers, today's banks still face challenges when deploying the technology because a good number of customers are reluctant to use mobile banking for personal reasons. This paper is an empirical investigation of the determinants of the intention to use smartphone-based mobile banking services. The determinants are grouped into two categories including personal factors and social influence factors. We conducted an empirical analysis using 751 survey responses collected from present users of mobile banking services. The results of the analysis reveal that all the personal factors have positive relationships with the intention to use mobile banking services. On the other hand, it was found that of the social influence factors, perceived herding behavior has significantly positive relationship with the intention to use smartphone-based services, whereas subjective norm is not significantly related to the intention. We provide practical as well as academic implications of the research findings.

Exploring the Predictive Validity of Behavioral Characteristics Checklists for Identifying Mathematically Gifted Students in Korea (예측타당도를 중심으로 한 관찰·추천 영재판별용 행동특성 평정척도의 유용성 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the predictive validity of behaviroal characteristics checklists that are widely used in Korea for identifying mathematically gifted students. Three most widely used checklists were selected and implemented to classroom teachers who could teach and observe gifted students in regular classes. The predictive validity of the tree checklists were explored by generating the correlations between their ratings using those three checklists and the performance levels of gifted students, which were measured by teachers in gifted classes. Findings of this study are the followings: First, all three checklists could statistically significantly predict the performance of gifted students in gifted programs, and the checklist B showed the highest predictability. Secondly, without the assistance by those checklists, teachers could not predict the performance level of gifted students. Lastly, teachers that were trained for educating gifted students could very effectively predict the performance of gifted students with the aid of those checklists while teachers without appropriate training could not at all even with the aid of those checklists.

  • This study presented the analysis results and implications by identifying the structural relationship between the image of food tourism products, the long-term orientation of attachment, and the behavioral intention. The convenience sampling method of the non-probability sampling method was used, and the survey was conducted non-face-to-face due to COVID-19. This study was conducted for customers who live in Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanam-do and have experienced local traditional food. As for the survey method, the main researcher's acquaintances and related experts were consulted and utilized to select the survey subjects, and the survey was conducted by sending/returning them by mail or e-mail. Statistical processing was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0 statistical packages. As a result of the verification, the relationship between the image and attachment of food tourism, the relationship between the long-term orientation in the attachment of traditional food, and the behavioral intention in the attachment of traditional food are significant. A significant positive (+) relationship was formed in the relationship of hypothesis setting according to the research purpose of the relationship.

Modeling Virtual Ecosystems that Consist of Artificial Organisms and Their Environment (인공생명체와 그들을 둘러싸는 환경으로 구성 되어지는 가상생태계 모델링)

  • This paper introduces the concept of a virtual ecosystem and reports the following three mathematical approaches that could be widely used to construct such an ecosystem, along with examples: (1) a molecular dynamics simulation approach for animal flocking behavior, (2) a stochastic lattice model approach for termite colony behavior, and (3) a rule-based cellular automata approach for biofilm growth. The ecosystem considered in this study consists of artificial organisms and their environment. Each organism in the ecosystem is an agent that interacts autonomously with the dynamic environment, including the other organisms within it. The three types of model were successful to account for each corresponding ecosystem. In order to accurately mimic a natural ecosystem, a virtual ecosystem needs to take many ecological variables into account. However, doing so is likely to introduce excess complexity and nonlinearity in the analysis of the virtual ecosystem's dynamics. Nonetheless, the development of a virtual ecosystem is important, because it can provide possible explanations for various phenomena such as environmental disturbances and disasters, and can also give insights into ecological functions from an individual to a community level from a synthetic viewpoint. As an example of how lower and higher levels in an ecosystem can be connected, this paper also briefly discusses the application of the second model to the simulation of a termite ecosystem and the influence of climate change on the termite ecosystem.

Assessment of Consumer's Food Safety Perceptions and Practices (소비자의 식품안전 인지도와 안전행동 평가)

  • Consumers are very concerned about food safety as the risk with food increased. This study was conducted to evaluate the perceptions and practices of consumers on food safety in order to collect some information for the development of consumer education program. Total 500 consumers were asked to answer for survey constituted with 6 questions of generic information, 4 of food safety perceptions and 8 of food safety practices from June to July, 2006. More than half of respondents (51.8%) were unsatisfied with the food safety management of government while the individual practices on food safety were satisfactory. Especially, most respondents (98.7%) checked the expiration date of food when they purchased and 97% of respondents were washed hands before food preparation. The higher food safety perception, the better food safety practices of consumers. These results suggest that the systematic and continuous educations on food safety hazards and the principles of sanitation management are necessary for safe food handling and perception on food safety.
