  • In order to investigate the characteristics of the lateral earth pressure at rest under hysteretic Ko -loading l unloading conditions. Seven types of multicyclic models have been studied experimentally using dry sand. For this study a new type of Ko -oedometer appal attn is developed, and horizontal pressure is accurately measured. The multi cyclic models consist of largely 3 cases : (i) Ko-test under the same loading/unloading condition, (ii) multi-cyclic loading /unloading Ko -test exceeding the maximum prevertical stress, and (iii) multi-cyclic loading l unloading Ko -test within the mazimium prevertical stress. As a result, the multi -cyclic model showed that single-cyclic model could be extended as well, in which the exponents for unloading condition(a and a') and the reloading coefficients(m, and m*) were mainily dependent upon type of stress model, number of cycles and relati ve density.

  • 본 연구에서는 용기포항 동방파제 건설이 사곶 수욕장에 미치는 영향을 평판재하시험, 토질분석시험, 위성사진 자료 분석, 파랑, 조류, 수심 등의 현장관측과 파랑, 파랑류, 조류, 그리고 퇴적물 이동 등에 대한 수치모형을 통하여 사곶해수욕장의 동역학적 특성을 파악하였다. 평판재하시험과 토질분석시험 결과 기존의 사곶해수욕장 지역의 지지력 변화는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 방파제 건설로 인해 퇴적이 진행 중인 지역은 상대적으로 지지력이 낮게 나타났다. 현장관측으로 수집된 파랑, 조류, 수심의 자료는 수치모형의 입력 값으로 사용되었으며, 파랑류 수치모형결과 사곶 해수욕장 부근에서 파향에 따라 약한 소규모 와류가 발생하였으며, 퇴적물이동 수치모형의 경우 국소 와류에 의한 지형변화가 발생하였으며, 남서와 북동에 약간의 퇴적이 발생하였다.

  • 실내시험 및 모형시험에 의하면 굴패각은 모래의 대체재료로써 활용가능한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 굴패각 모래 혼합시료에 대한 대형전단시험 결과와 굴패각 모래 다짐말뚝에 대한 현장재하시험 결과를 제시하였다. 굴패각 모래 혼합시료는 혼합율 30%까지는 혼합율이 증가할수록 전단강도가 증가하였으며 그 이상의 혼합율에서는 수렴하는 경향을 나타내었다. 순수모래다짐말뚝과 굴패각-모래 다짐말뚝에 대한 재하시험 결과로부터 두 말뚝간의 허용지지력에는 거의 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다.

구조물 축소 모형시험과 수치해석에 의한 구조물 안전도 평가

  • 본 기사에서는 기존 구조물의 구조를 변경하여 사용하는 경우 구조물 축소모형시험과 수치해석을 이용하여 안전도를 합리적으로 평가하는 절차에 관하여 지하철 정차장 구조물을 예로하여 살펴보았다. 구조물의 안전도를 평가하기 위한 구조물 축소모형 시험에서는 원형구조물의 실제 거동을 나타내는 모형의 제작이 가장 중요한 사항이다. 이를 위해서 적절한 상사율을 가지는 구조재료의 선정, 합리적인 경계조건의 설정, 실제하중을 고려한 재하방법 등을 결정하여야 한다. 구조재료의 선정과 모형의 축소율은 모형구조의 거동이 탄성범위 내인가 또는 극한거동인가에 따라 결정되는 것이 일반적이다. 안전도 평가를 위한 모형구조물의 제작과정에서는 원형구조물 거동을 수치해석을 통하여 예측하는 과정이 필요하며 이러한 사전해석(pre-analysis)을 통하여 구조물의 개략적인 거동과 측정항목을 정하며, 또한 합리적인 재하방법을 결정하게 된다. 모형구조물에 대한 재하시험을 통하여 원형구조물의 거동을 상사비를 적용하여 바로 예측할 수 있으나 재하하시험후 측정된 사항에 대하여는 모형구조물에 대한 사후해석(post-analysis)를 수행하여 측정값과 비교 검토하여 거동의 일치성을 입증하는 것이 일반적이다. 이런 과정을 거쳐 검증된 수치해석모델을 이용하여 실험에서 고려하지 않은 여러가지 하중조건에 수치적으로 검토할 수 있으며, 이를 이용하여 안전도검토와 적절한 대책을 수립할 수 있게 된다. 사전해석-모형시험-사후해석의 절차에 따른 구조물의 모형실험의 사례는 미국과 유럽에서 찾아볼 수 있으며 이를 통하여 수치해석기법의 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 현재까지 우리나라에서는 구조물 모형실험에 관련된 연구가 활발하지 못한 편이며, 상대적으로 경험이 적게 축적되어 있는 실정이다. 그러나 수치해석기법의 발전과 실제구조물의 안전도를 합리적으로 파악하기 위해서는 구조물모형 실험이 필수적이며 앞으로 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 할 분야로 사료된다.leic acid와 palmitic acid가 주요 지방산이었으나 싸리버섯은 중성지질에서 oleic acid의 함량이 높았다.n the part of special landscape management area, it is necessary to introduce landscape impact assessment system to more effective landscape management.ch served as supporting organizations.   • To predict the real bearing capacity and settlement of the shallow foundation the plate load test results were used. But there is no field estimation method about igneous weathered soil and rock. Therefore, to predict the settlement equation, the plate load test about igneous weathered soil and rock was done in this study. To analyze the load ~ relative settlement curve by normalization, it did not use normal analysis method, but the load ~ relative settlement (s/B, s : settlement, B : breadth of plate) was used. As a result of normalization by load ~ relative settlement conception, the curve was regular regardless of plate diameter and it was suggested the relationship of in-situ soil condition and results.

A Research for Computation of Bearing Capacity and Settlement of Foundation Considering Scale Effect in Weathered-granite Layer (화강풍화토에서 Scale Effect를 고려한 기초의 지지력 및 침하량 산정에 관한 연구)

  • When calculating bearing capacity and settlement of actual foundation from plate test result fur design and construction of shallow foundation, scale effect should be considered. But, adequate guide and test result of scale effect were not prepared yet in Korea. So, to analyze the relations of bearing capacity and settlement as the difference of loading plate sizes, model test and field loading test were performed with different loading plate on weathered-granite layer. Model tests were conducted with water content, compaction number, saturated unit weight and plate size(Dl5, 25cm) in soil-box$(2,000\times 2,000\times 1,000mm)$ formed soil layer. Field loading tests were carried out with diameters of loading plate$(D15, 25, 30, 40, 75\times 75, 140\times 210cm)$ on the same soil condition. Finally, we presented the prediction formula of bearing and settlement for computating scale offset in design of shallow foundation through result analysis of load test and numerical simulation on weathered soil and rock.

Behavior of tunnel under the influence of pre-loading on braced wall during the adjacent ground excavation (근접굴착 시 벽체에 선행하중 재하에 따른 터널의 거동)

  • Pre-loads could be imposed on the braced wall to prevent the horizontal displacements during the ground excavation adjacent to the existing tunnel. For this purpose, new pre-loading system through which large pre-loads could be applied to the braced wall was used in the model tests. Large scale model tests were performed in the real scale test pit which was 2.0 m in width and 6.0 m in hight and 4.0 m in length. Test ground was constructed by sand. Model tunnel in 1.2 m diameter was constructed before test ground excavation. Test ground was excavated adjacent to existing tunnel and was braced. To investigate the effect of pre-loading, tests without pre-load were also performed. During the ground excavation were the behavior of braced wall, test tunnel, and ground measured. Model tests were also numerically analysed and their results were compared to that of the real scale tests. As a result, it was found that the stability of the existing tunnel was greatly enhanced when the horizontal displacements of braced wall was reduced by applying pre-load larger than the design load.

  • Recently, the top & down method with drilled shafts as a foundation of high rise building is often adopted for the purpose of construction period reduction and construction cost effectiveness. It is common to omit the loading test as a quality assurance on account of the high capacity of drilled shafts for the top & down method. It seems that the capacity of drilled shaft in recent top & down method is beyond that of conventional loading test method. However, the quality assurance for the drilled shaft as foundation of high rise building becomes much more important since the drilled shaft should bear much higher working load. A small scale test pile can be an alternative as a quality assurance for the drilled shaft with hish capacities. Through a case study, this paper gives an idea for solving the limitation of the conventional loading test method for the quality assurance of drilled shaft with high capacities. In particular, this paper analyzed the scale effect for a small drilled shaft installed into bedrock, which could be used for an alternative.

Reinforcing Efficiency of Micro-Pile with Precast Retaining Wall (프리캐스트 옹벽 마이크로 파일의 보강 효율)

  • This study investigates the lateral resistance of micro-pile system when surcharge load is acting on the back of retaining wall. Both laboratory experiments and numerical analysis were performed. The experimental retaining wall model was developed on the laboratory-sized foundation. While surcharge load was acting, the interval and length varied as experimental variables. From the investigation it is known that the micro-pile system can effectively control the lateral displacement which is developed on the precast retaining wall. The effectiveness became increased as the pile interval reduced and the length of pile increased. The greatest reinforcing efficiency was shown when the pile length was 0.5H and the interval was 7D.

Experimental Study on Behaviors of Pile-Abutment Joint in Integral Abutment Bridge (일체식 교대 교량의 파일-교대 연결부 거동에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This study dealt with the behavior of pile-abutment joints in integral abutment bridges. Two types of pile-abutment joints were proposed to strengthen its rigid action. One was fabricated with transverse rebars which penetrated the H-pile in the abutment. The other was composed of stud shear connectors on the flanges of the H-pile. Three half scaled pile-abutment joint specimens were fabricated and loading tests were performed to evaluate the behavior of proposed joints. The results showed that the initial stiffness in elastic region of all specimens was sufficient to be applied for the integral abutment bridges. However, the performances of the proposed joints were shown to be more effective in rigid action compared to the joints types suggested by the Integral Bridge Design Guideline. The results from stiffness, strength, rotation and crack propagation tests supported this matter.
