Fuzzy Learning Algorithms for Time Series Prediction (시계열 예측을 위한 퍼지 학습 알고리즘)

  • This paper presents new fuzzy learning algorithms and their applications to time series prediction. During generating fuzzy rules from numerical data, there is a tendency to produce conflicting rules which have same premise but different consequence. To resolve the problem, we propose MCM(Modified Center Method) which is proven to reduce the error in the prediction. We have applied MCM to the analysis of Mackey-Glass time series and Gas Furnace da.ta to verify its efficiency.

  • TRIZ는 문제분석을 통한 모순을 찾아내어 이를 해결하는 Process에 역점을 두는 방법론으로 알트슐러와 그의 동료에 의해 수십만건의 특허를 분석하는 과정에서 시대와 분야를 막론하고 동일한 유형의 문제가 반복되고, 이를 해결하는 방법도 동일함을 규명하여 이를 체계화한 방법론으로, 현재 핵심기술 개발 및 창의적 문제 해결 방법론으로 각광받고 있다. 그러나 TRIZ 역시 문제점을 가지고 있으며, 그것은 초기 과제 정의가 어렵다는 것과 효과산출을 어떻게 하면 객관화 할 수 있을 것인가 이며, 또한 도출된 아이디어를 최적화 하는 방안이다 하나의 방법론만으로는 모든 과제 해결을 위해 일괄 적용 시키는 것은 모순이며, 경영기법간의 연계를 통한 경영효과 극대화가 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 6시그마와 TRIZ 방법론 분석을 통한 각 방법론의 이해를 높이고, 이를 바탕으로 서로 방법론간의 연계의 필요성을 확인 및 방법론 간 연계를 위한 연계 프로세스 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper critically examines the evolution of Nam June Paik's self-contradictory art philosophy. While the existing literature tends to slight it, Paik's works of arts remain fraught with contradictions: Paik has proved prima facie avant-garde an artist; however, as the scale and form of his works have developed, the prophetic, path-breaking philosophical underpinnings of his arts evolved to become more conformist. The present paper aims to shed light on the understudied and underappreciated side of Paik's accomplishments in order to come to a fuller understanding and appreciation of his arts and his legacy.

TRIZ-based Creative Problem Solving Process (트리즈 기반의 창의적 문제해결 프로세스)

  • Traditionally engineers' main roles are concentrated on solving any given problems and engineering education has emphasized problem solving ability. Therefore engineers intend to solve easily perceived problems with their knowledge and experience instead of trying to analyze the given problems thoroughly and to define real problems, and go through lots of trial and error. So, engineers require the ability to define real problems accurately before trying to solve the problems. This study proposes a real problem definition process using visualization of a core zone and TRIZ concepts such as contradictions and IFR(Ideal Final Result) in order to define real problems with minimum trial and error. TRIZ is the theory of inventive problem solving and was developed by a Soviet engineer and researcher Genrich Altshuller from 1946. Nowadays many industries use TRIZ and its effectiveness was already proved by lots of real problem solving in various areas. Therefore TRIZ might be very effective tool for developing students' inventive thinking ability in engineering education.

  • This study made an attempt to apply and meaningful research of the analysis of the scene with the actual creative work about the contradictory structure and the love of duality appeared in the Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". The researcher set up the meaning of versus (對) between the contradictory structure and the duality of love. So I analyzed the duality of love appeared on the creative performance named "Romiet & Julio zwei Versus". With the Laban's behavior analysis, the analyzing instruments were separated into four parts as the body, the effort, the space and the shape. As a result of the analyzing, the duality of love in the original work was the expression of the artist's pluralistic vision, and dramatic structure of homogeneity rather than the paradoxical contrast. After analyzing a creative work, the duality of love has been proven as an important factor with ultimately a new dimension of absolute balance.

Hilbert's Program as Research Program (연구 프로그램으로서의 힐버트 계획)

  • The development of recent Mathematical Logic is mostly originated in Hilbert's Proof Theory. The purpose of the plan so called Hilbert's Program lies in the formalization of mathematics by formal axiomatic method, rescuing classical mathematics by means of verifying completeness and consistency of the formal system and solidifying the foundations of mathematics. In 1931, the completeness encounters crisis by the existence of undecidable proposition through the 1st Theorem of G?del, and the establishment of consistency faces a risk of invalidation by the 2nd Theorem. However, relative of partial realization of Hilbert's Program still exists as a fruitful research program. We have tried to bring into relief through Curry-Howard Correspondence the fact that Hilbert's program serves as source of power for the growth of mathematical constructivism today. That proof in natural deduction is in truth equivalent to computer program has allowed the formalization of mathematics to be seen in new light. In other words, Hilbert's program conforms best to the concept of algorithm, the central idea in computer science.
