XML Encryption System on WIPI Environment (WIPI환경에서 XML문서 암호화시스템)

  • Recently The biggest three mobile telecommunication companies of our country still using independence wireless internet platform. And, It can so many difficulties to the phone company and content provide company. Such as the timing of the development or the fee of the development. Because even they develop one product and Hey must make it prepare for some platform of every mobile telecommunication companies. And this make the development more longer and more expensive. For this reason, SKT, LG telecom and KTF develop the new wireless internet platform named WIPI with ETRI. and the working is still go on and go ahead with propulsion. And if it come to reality, the WIPI will attached from much of attack such as hacking or virus. But some data exchange between mobile phone is so important as to flow. Thus, in this paper, we consideration the XML using in the wireless environment and we are design and implementation the XML encryption system working at the WIPI in order to protect the data, we want to protect.

Implementation and Utilization of Decentralized Identity-Based Mobile Student ID (분산 ID 기반 모바일 학생증 구현과 활용)

  • In this paper, we developed a mobile student ID providing a self sovereignty identity (SSI) which replaces the conventional plastic-type student ID that includes private information of a student such as a name, a student number, a facial photo, etc. The implemented mobile student ID solves the problem of exposing student's identity due to a loss or a theft of a plastic-type student ID, and it has a structure and process of FRANCHISE model which is developed by a concept of a decentralized Identity(DID) of a Blockchain, in which specialized for convenience as an electronic student ID through an application on a smart phone device. In addition, it protects student's privacy by controlling personal information on oneself. By using a smartphone, not only it easily identifies the student but also it expands to several services such as participation in school events, online authentication, and a student's exchange program among colleges.

Trust Management and Privacy Protection for Mobile Digital ill Wallets (모바일 전자 ID 지갑에 적합한 신뢰 관리 및 개인 정보보호 방안)

  • In 2008, ETRI developed a new mobile digital ID wallet, in which anyone can store personal information and PKI credential. When the wallet is used, privacy protection is one of the most important problems and personal information should be protected under various usage scenarios such as exchanging sensitive information in on/off-line environments, joining as a new member in the web site, etc. In this paper, we propose a triangular trust management scheme that can effectively manage trustness and also protect sensitive personal information. This scheme relies on three techniques: PKI, reputation and condition (situation context). We implemented prototype of our scheme, and tested it under various scenarios, which showed that the proposed scheme can effectively be used for diverse cases.

  • Smart work has recently introduced as a way to solve problems such as greenhouse gas emissions, low birth rate and aging as well as to improve productivity. Because of development of ICT infrastructure and the proliferation of smart devices, the mobile office has the most commonly used within types of smart work in Korea. But the adoption of the mobile office in small businesses is only half of that of large corporations. The security issue appears to be one of the biggest obstacles to the introduction of smart work in small businesses. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the information security factors that should be considered when the mobile office is introduced to small businesses. By analyzing the previous studies, the information security factors of the mobile office are classified 5 groups composed of 24 factors. 5 groups are terminals, applications and platforms, networks, servers and users. According to the survey result using AHP, 'User' was drawn to the most important group, and 'Data Encryption', 'Wireless LAN Control' and 'Terminal Recovery When Leaving' were drawn to the important information security factors of the mobile office among 24 factors.

  • In this paper, we propose proposed mobile wagering platform technology, where the buying lottery contents registered in secure storage through lottery technology can be used as a common experience in smartphones, smart pads, and PCs, etc. Currently, many people are producing and consuming various types of contents in bulk, and it is expected that real-time contents and old contents coexist as IoT(Internet of Things) technology is commonly deployed in the future. Therefore, we need to develop a differentiated service that can compete with global services in lottery contents authoring and collaboration systems to create new markets. Accordingly, we implemented an wagering service platform to occupy cloud markets with high quality lottery contents produced through collaboration.

  • 새로운 사용자 경험의 향상을 위해 UI 의 개선방안을 모색할 때, 기존에 수행해 오던 일반적 사용성 평가 방법만으로는 모바일과 같이 복합적 컨텍스트를 가진 서비스 이용환경을 파악하는데 적지 않은 한계가 있다. 가령 특정 Task 수행시 Lead Time 측정과 같은 계량화된 사용성 평가방법을 통해서는 실제 사용자의 컨텍스트를 고려한 사용성의 수준(혹은 오류의 수준)에 대한 분석이 어려운 반면, In-depth Interview 로 대표되는 통상의 정성적인 사용자 리서치 방법은 장애의 요인과 결과간의 논리적인 상관관계를 명확화하거나 실측적인 개선 성과로써 도출해 내는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 정량적인 사용성 평가방법에 정성적인 사용자 리서치 수행기법 및 통계적 기법을 결합하여, 실측 가능하고 설득력을 가진 근거 데이터를 지지하는 한편 한계로 남겨져 왔던 행위결과에 대한 요인에도 적절한 인사이트를 제시할 수 있는 대안적 사용성 평가 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

The Effect of Providing Information Using a Mobile Internet Terminal on Anxiety, Discomfort and Satisfaction with Education among Patients Undergoing a Coronary Angiogram (모바일인터넷 단말기를 이용한 정보제공이 관상동맥 조영술 대상자의 불안, 불편감 및 교육만족도에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effect of providing information using a mobile internet terminal on anxiety, discomfort and satisfaction with education among patients undergoing a coronary angiogram. Methods: Data were collected from July 27, 2016 to February 23, 2017. A total of 64 participants (34 for the experiment group and 30 for the control group) admitted to a department of cardiology internal medicine for coronary angiography were recruited. Data were analyzed by SPSS Window 22.0 Program. Results: Information provided through mobile internet terminal did not affect anxiety and objective and subjective discomfort of the participants for coronary angiography, it was effective in satisfaction with education. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is indicated that video education using a mobile internet terminal could be an effective method to improve nurses' work efficiency and quality and to raise satisfaction with education.

  • 애드혹 네트워크는 무선 모바일 기기들만으로 구성 가능한 네트워크로서 무선 모바일기기의 특성상 제한된 에너지를 사용하게 된다. On-Demand 방식의 DSR(Dynamic Source Routing), PSR(Power-aware Source Routing)은 애드 혹 네트워크의 특성에 적합한 라우팅 프로토콜로 경로 탐색 시 브로드 캐스팅을 통해 단말기의 이동성과 전력 보유량을 고려하여 경로를 설정한다. 이러한 경로 탐색 기법은 네트워크를 구성하는 노드 수에 비례하여 경로 탐색시 소모되는 에너지 오버헤드가 증가하므로 대량의 노드들로 이루어진 애드혹 네트워크에서는 상당한 에너지 낭비를 초래한다. HPSR(Hierarchical Power-aware Source Routing)은 이러한 경로 탐색 오버헤드 문제를 보조경로를 이용해 감소 시켰지만, 초기 주 경로가 결정되는 시간에 보조경로 역시 동시에 결정 되는 특성을 가지고 있어, 경로를 이루는 노드의 에너지 정보가 시간적으로 낙후되고 실제 사용 시에는 에너지 효율이 낮은 경로가 되는 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 노드들의 최신 에너지 정보로 부분 경로 설정을 함으로써 경로 탐색 오버헤드를 감소시킴과 동시에 변경된 경로의 에너지 효율도 최적화 시킬 수 있는 기법을 제안 한다.

The Development and The Usability Evaluation of the Game using the Physical Interface of the Mobile Phone (모바일폰의 물리적 인터페이스를 활용한 게임개발 및 사용성 평가)

  • Recently, mobile games are developed as the various genre and form with the hardware performance improvement and communication network speed increase of the mobile phone. But it shows the limit of the game material to be developed, because the mobile game has to play by using only the keypad handing of the mobile phone. In this research, 'Flip On / Off interface' and 'Microphone interface' were developed in order to utilize the physical device of the mobile phone as the game interface. 'Flip On / Off interface' and 'Microphone interface' have the advantage that there is no need to purchase a device as an additional interface with utilizing the hardware of the mobile phone itself and the progressing of a game is smooth in comparison with the keypad method of the pre-existence mobile game because the interface waiting time for a call response is short. Moreover, by applying to a commercializing game, the developed interface tests, we confirmed an availability at the commercialization inspection standards on mobile phone without the heap memory deficiency phenomenon to be smooth of an operation. Furthermore, in the result of usability evaluation accessability, reliability, and aesthetics were rated as 'high'. The results of this research reveal that the interface environment of the mobile game limited to a keypad will be able to be made with diversification.

  • Mobile Internet Device (MID) allows users to flexibly use various forms of wireless internet such as Wi-Fi, GSM, CDMA, and 3G. Using such Internet, MID users can utilize application services. MID usage is expected to grow due to the benefits of portability, Internet accessibility, and other convenience. However, it has resource constraints such as limited CPU power, small memory size, limited battery life, and small screen size. Consequently, MIDs are not capable to hold large-sized complex applications and to process a large amount of data in memory. An effective solution to remedy these limitations is to develop cloud services for the required application functionality, to deploy them on the server side, and to let MID users access the services through internet. A major concern on running cloud services for MIDs is the potential problems with low Quality of Service (QoS) due to the characteristics of MIDs. Even measuring the QoS of such services is more technically challenging than conventional quality measurements. In this paper, we first identify the characteristics of MIDs and cloud services for MIDs. Based on these observations, we derive a number of quality attributes and their metrics for measuring QoS of mobile services. A case study of applying the proposed quality model is presented to show its effectiveness and applicability.
