  • 메타분석은 evidence-based medicine의 한가지 수단으로서 현재까지 알려진 모든 지식을 체계적으로 종합하고 평가하는 분석법을 의미한다. 인의학에서는 80년대 이후 메타분석이 보편화되어 있으나 수의학에서는 거의 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 원고에서는 메타분석법에 대한 수의학 관련 연구자들의 이해를 돕기 위하여 젖소의 요네병 (Johne's disease)을 진단하는데 사용되는 ELISA검사의 정확도에 대한 메타분석기법의 적용사례를 중심으로 설명한다.

  • Meta-analysis refers to the analysis of analysis. It is the statistical analysis of a large collection of analysis results from individual studies for the purpose of summarizing, integrating and interpreting the inconsistent findings. However, no meta-analysis study has been conducted in Library and Information Science in Korea. This Study introduced the characteristics, basic principles, analysis procesure, and major models of meta-analysis, reviewed meta-analysis studies in Library and Information Science, and discussed major problems in conducting meta-analysis in Library and Information Science especially in Korea.

  • 본 논문은 유전체 분석 연구에서 국내 최초 메타게놈 Data를 윈도우상에서 효율적으로 저장하고 분석할 수 있는 시스템으로서 향후 국내외 유전체 시장에서 메타게놈 Data 분석 및 저장을 선도할 수 있는 시스템이 될 것이다. 또한, 개발된 메타게놈 유전체 분석 시스템을 이용한다면 국내외 메타게놈 유전체 연구에 많은 도움이 될 것 이다.

  • Functions of metadata, semantic and syntatic schemas, metadata service such as registries, repositories, the optimal metadata retrieval, and several considerations of implementation of digital libraries were the research scopes of this investigation. R&D outcomes of metadata subjects in the domestic community for the past 10 years were searched and analyzed. It illustrated the major results, distinctive trends as well as some insufficient aspects to satisfy the researchers and operators of metadata system development.

  • Metaliteracy is a new framework that reframes information literacy. Metaliteracy is distinguished from information literacy through the intruduction of postmodernism, social constructivism and metacognition. However it has been not examined whether metaliteracy studies reflect the conceptual differences. Therefore, The purpose of the study is to observe research trends of metaliteracy on the difference from information literacy. In the study, literature reviews were conducted, and frequency analysis and knowledge network analysis(co-occurrence and bibliographic coupling) were conducted for 80 metaliteracy studies. The results of the study are as follows. As a result of co-occurrence analysis, metacognition(frequency 1st) and skills(degree centrality 1st, closeness centrality 1st, betweenness centrality 1st) appeared. Since metaliteracy criticizes skill-based information literacy, the result suggests that the concepts of information literacy and metaliteracy are mixed. On the other hand, as a result of bibliographic coupling analysis, studies with high bibliographic coupling explain the difference between information literacy and metaliteracy through metacognition.

An Explorative Study on the Social Metadata in Academic Libraries (소셜 메타데이터 활용에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 국내 대학도서관 웹 사이트 분석을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper attempts to explore the use of social metadata in academic libraries. A total of 173 academic libraries were examined and analyzed. Various social metadata were reviewed, involved with users' participation and contribution. Error-reports, tagging, recommendations, ratings, reviews, comments, sharing, and community were identified that support selection, sharing and collaboration through social engagement. Suggestions drawn from the findings are offered to utilize social metadata in order to enhance users' contribution and interaction. It is hoped that this exploratory study will provide insight into the use of social metadata in academic libraries.

  • 본 논문에서는 유닉스 파일 시스템에서의 버퍼캐쉬 크기에 따라 사용자 데이터와 메타데이터의 버퍼 캐쉬 히트율을 분석하였다. 그리고 메타 데이터가 유닉스 운영체제 파일 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이를 기반으로 버퍼 캐쉬의 동적 특성과 성능의 장애 요인들을 분석하였다. 유닉스 운영체제에서 사용되는 사용자 데이터와 메타데이터에 대한 버퍼 캐쉬의 동적인 동작을 분석하기 위하여 trace-driven방법을 이용하였으며 이를 위하여 시뮬레이터를 작성.사용하였다. 파일 시스템은 특정 유닉스 버전에 영향을 받지 않기 위해 USF[1]에 기초하였고, 작업부하(workload)로는 Sprite- trace 데이터 중 allspice 서버에서 추출한 데이터를 사용하였다.

The Effects of Problem Solving Activities of STEAM Program on Middle School Students' Metacognition (STEAM 프로그램의 문제해결활동이 중학생의 메타인지에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of problem solving activities of STEAM program on metacognition of middle school students. The subject was 63 middle school students. This study was designed single group pre-posttest. A single-group t-test was performed for analyzing difference between the pre-post test on metacognition. In the result of this study, there was significant difference between pretest and posttest on middle school students' metacognition. Also there was significant difference on metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation. The analysis on the subelements of metacognition showed significant difference between pretest and posttest. The multiple regression analysis to investigate the relation of sub-elements of metacognition was performed in this study. The result of the analysis showed high explanatory power among metacognition subelements. This result suggests that the problem solving activities of STEAM program can have a positive effect in promoting metacognition. of the learner.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine semantic interoperability in terms of metadata elements and content designation in context of digital libraries. This study analyzed 78 digital libraries implemented using Greenstone application with respect to metadata elements and their content designation. Using crosswalks of digital libraries' metadata elements, and comparisons of content designation in elements. this study identifies three aspects which can impact semantic interoperability. First, there were less than 25% core metadata elements even within homogeneous information communities. Second, discrepancy exists between element names and their usage. Third, different levels were identified when assigning content to designated elements in terms of integrity and completeness.

In this study, we have founded information of construction companies, present condition of information, concept of Metadata and recent report. And we have presented the Metadata system model and building process of information system. We have analyzed the Metadata element of construction. This study is the foundation for the Metadata using system.
