Students, who are studying the field of accounting, have to learn and practice statistics in order to analyze the current social status and to predict the Suture trend. however, students have a strong tendency to avoid the statistics lessons, which are dealing with complicated numbers, mathematics, various equations, and so on. This paper aims to construct a stimulating environment for learning statistics and develop an actual lesson on the Internet, Which students can study by practicing directly. The lesson is fully interactive and visualized by using multimedia technologies. The effectiveness of the experiment is measured by survey questions to the students who used the lesson.

We have found out that the value of multimedia production from this points of view that the elementary information gifted children is still in a development stage and the goal of the gifted program is development of creative problem solving ability. So, the following study suggests multimedia production education as an alternative plan to the current education of elementary Information gifted children which is becoming problematic. Its goal is to produce an educational system which included process-product model which is one of the educational program for gifted children. Especially, an aspect in technical education, common skill of multimedia software and skill of product was tried in due consideration of the property of information gifted children, it was applied for information gifted education institute by a form of remote-education and weekend education. Through this study, multimedia production education was proposed for elementary school IT genius education. By incorporating gifted education model, we tried to work out IT genius education from the gifted program's point of view.

웹상의 교육용 학습물에 대한 탐색과 기술을 위한 다수의 표준적 메타데이터들이 개발되어왔다. 그러나 이러한 메타데이터들은 학습물이 지닌 고유한 자료적 특성 및 멀티미디어와 관련한 기술에 있어서 여러 가지 문제들을 지녀왔다. 애플리케이션 프로화일은 기존의 표준적 메타데이터 시스템들이 지닌 경직성에서 벗어나 다양한 응용환경을 지원하기 위한 방편으로 점차 그 이용이 확대되어 가고 있다. 이 연구에서는 교육용 학습물의 기술을 위한 애플리케이션 프로화일 작성을 위하여 웹상에서 이용 가능한 멀티미디어 형식의 학습물에 대한 기술과 탐색에 필수적인 엘리먼트들을 선별하고 이에 상응하는 XML스키마작성를 모색하였다.

본 논문에서는 유아의 환경 교육을 위한 비디오 검색을 위해 의미 가중치와 의존 가중치를 이용하여 비디오 데이터에 대한 사용자의 다양한 의미검색을 지원하는 의미기반 멀티미디어 데이터베이스 시스템을 제안한다. 환경 교육에 대한 멀티미디어 데이터를 사용자가 키워드 입력을 통해 검색을 하면 제안 시스템의 모바일 에이전트에 의해 의미 가중치를 계산하고 그 정보를 키 프레임의 주석정보로 이용하여 더욱 정확한 데이터가 검색되게 한다. 제안하는 시스템의 프로토타입을 구현하여 테스트 한 결과 약 96.5%의 높은 정확도(precision)를 얻었다.

Multimedia is now applied to various real worlds. In particular, the focus of CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperated Work) for multimedia education system has increased. DOORAE is a framework for supporting development of applications running on distributed multimedia environment and multimedia distance education system. EDA is a system is able to detect automatically a software error based on distributed multimedia. It has been designed and implemented for construction and experiment of effective DOORAE environment. It detects an error by polling periodically the process with relation to session. Conventional method detects an error by polling periodically all the process. This papaer explains a performance analysis of an error detection system running on distributed multimedia environment using the rule-based SES and DEVS modeling and simulation techniques. In DEVS, a system has a time base, inputs, states, outputs, and functions.

컴퓨터 및 네트워크 기술의 발전은 대학 교육에도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹/멀티미디어를 통한 통계교육용 통합 소프트웨어 iSTAT을 소개한다. 이 소프트웨어는 통계 초보자들을 위한 교육의 일환으로 전통적인 강의 동영상과 전자책(e-book)을 포함하고 있고, 아울러 복잡한 통계이론의 이해를 돕기 위해 고안된 통계강의 보조시스템 CATS와 통계자료분석 실습용 통계패키지 S-Link, 그리고 배운 이론에 대한 평가 모듈이 있다. 이밖에도 관련 이론에 대한 유용한 웹사이트에 링크를 할 수 있다. 이 종합 시스템을 초보자에게 제공함으로서 통계라는 학문을 보다 쉽고 실제 응용이 가능한 학문으로 보급되기를 기대한다.
