  • 최근 스마트폰의 개발과 어플리케이션의 다양화로 인하여 OpenAPI을 사용한 'Mashup'의 기술이 많은 곳에서 이용되고 있다. 매쉬업은 2가지 이상의 서비스를 복합하여 사용하므로 요구 목적에 맞는 새로운 형태의 서비스를 만들어 낸다는 장점도 있지만, OpenAPI 정보 제공자에게 종속될 수밖에 없다는 점과, 서비스를 융합하는 과정이 복잡하다는 문제점이 존재한다. 이러한 문제점들은 매쉬업 프로그램 개발과 유지에 있어서 큰 장벽이 된다. 그래서 매쉬업 개발자에게는 자신의 서비스를 만들어 내기 위하여 손쉽게 OpenaAPI에 접근하는 방법과 매쉬업의 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 서비스가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 매쉬업 서비스의 효율적 관리와 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 통합적 매쉬업 관리 모델에 대해서 다룬다. 통합적 매쉬업 관리 모델은 '선택적 매쉬업'과 '자가 복구 시스템'으로 구성된다. 선택적 매쉬업은 사용자가 원하는 매쉬업 데이터를 얻기 위해서 여러 번 작업을 해야 한다는 번거로움을 간편화하여 효율적 작업처리가 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 자가 복구 시스템은 매쉬업의 단점인 종속적 정보 획득을 보완하고 방지하기 위해서 OpenAPI 수집 에이전트를 통하여 중복된 OpenAPI를 수집, 요구된 매쉬업 정보를 자동 업데이트를 수행하는 기능을 제공한다. 통합적 매쉬업 관리 모델은 매쉬업 사용자에게 편리한 접근 인터페이스 제공하고 종속성이라는 문제점을 해결해 줄 수 있을 것이라고 본다.

Similarity-based Service Recommendation for Service-Mashup Developers (서비스 매쉬업 개발자를 위한 유사도 기반 서비스 추천 방법)

  • As web service technologies are widely used, there have been many efforts to develop approaches for recommending appropriate web services to users in complex and dynamic service environments. In addition, for the effective development of service mashups, service recommender systems that are specialized for service composition have been developed. However, existing service recommender systems for service mashups are not effective at recommending services in a personalized manner that reflect developers' preferences. To deal with this issue, we propose an approach that recommends services based on the similarities between mashup developers who have developed similar service mashups. The proposed approach is then evaluated by using the mashup data retrieved from ProgrammableWeb. The evaluation results clearly show that the proposed approach is an effective way of improving service recommendations compared to the traditional user-based collaborative filtering algorithm.

Analysis of Mashup Performances based on Vector Layer of Various GeoWeb 2.0 Platform Open APIs (다양한 공간정보 웹 2.0 플랫폼 Open API의 벡터 레이어 기반 매쉬업 성능 분석)

  • As GeoWeb 2.0 technologies are widely used, various kinds of services that mashup spatial data and user data are being developed. In particular, various spatial information platforms such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Daum Map, Naver Map, olleh Map, and VWorld based on GeoWeb 2.0 technologies support mashup service. The mashup service which is supported through the Open APIs of the platforms, provides various kinds of spatial data such as 2D map, 3D map, and aerial image. Also, application fields using the mashup service are greatly expanded. Recently, as user data for mashup have been greatly increased, there was a problem in mashup performance. However, the research on the mashup performance improvement is currently insufficient, even the research on the mashup performance comparison of various platforms has not been performed. In this paper, we perform comparative analysis of the mashup performance for large amounts of user data and spatial data using various spatial information platforms available in Korea. Specifically, we propose two performance analysis indexes of mashup time and user interaction time in order to analyze the mashup performance efficiently. Also, we implement a system for the performance analysis. Finally, from the performance analysis result, we propose a spatial information platform that can be efficiently applied to cases when user data increases greatly and user interaction occurs frequently.

Development of a Video Mash-up Application using Videos from Network Environment (네트워크 환경의 동영상을 활용하는 동영상 메쉬업 어플리케이션 개발)

  • As smartphones are rapidly supplied, users can easily access video contents anywhere, anytime. So recently, demands for the ability to create one's own mash-up video have been increasing and various video mash-up programs appear to reflect those needs. But, because most existing video mash-up programs can mash up only stored video files, the ability to mash up many videos is limited for smartphones that have restricted memory. In this paper, we have developed a video mash-up application that can easily mash up not only stored videos, but also videos found by chance over the network to make one's own videos.

A Comparative Study on Mashup Performance of Large Amounts of Spatial Data and Real-time Data using Various Map Platforms (다양한 맵 플랫폼을 이용한 대용량 동적정보와 공간정보의 매쉬업 성능 비교 연구)

  • Recently, the use of mashup that integrates real-time data with spatial data such as tiled map and satellite imagery has been increased significantly. As the use of mashup has been extended to various fields of O2O, LBS, Smart City, and Autonomous Driving, the performance of mashup has become more important. Therefore, this study aims to compare and analyze the performance of various map platforms, when large amounts of real-time data are integrated with spatial data. Specifically, we compare the performance of most popular map platforms available in Korea, such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Daum Map, Naver Map, olleh Map, and VWorld. We also compare the performance using most common web browsers of Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. In the performance analysis, we measured and compared the initialization time of basic map and the mashup time of real-time data for the above map platforms. From analysis results, we could find that Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, VWorld, and olleh Map platforms showed a better performance than the others.

  • Web 2.0의 등장과 함께 Web 2.0의 핵심요소인 OpenAPI의 사용이 늘어나고 있다. 또한 이들은 다른 서비스와 결합되어 새로운 복합 서비스를 만들어 내기도 하는데, 이를 매쉬업 서비스 (mash-up service)라 한다. 현재 많은 OpenAPI 중 가장 많이 이용되고 있는 지도 API는 매쉬업 서비스의 대표적인 자원이며 이와 함께 최근 대중화 되고 있는 스마트폰의 GPS를 이용하여 현대사회에서 문제가 되고 있는 아동 범죄, 노약자 보호 등의 문제를 해결하는데 이용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 OpenAPI와 매쉬업 기술을 기반으로 아동 및 노약자의 이동 경로를 관리하기 위한 서비스를 개발하였다. 이 서비스는 스마트폰의 GPS로부터 실시간 위치 좌표 값을 받아 지도 API를 이용하여 현재 위치를 표시해 주는 기능을 가진다. 또한 관리대상 (아동 및 노약자)의 이동경로를 미리 예측하고 이를 안전지역으로 설정해 놓음으로써 이들의 안전지역 이탈을 즉각적으로 알려줄 수 있도록 하여 이탈 시 해당 위치와 이탈 후의 이동경로를 확인할 수 있게 한다. 뿐만 아니라 과거의 이동경로와 안전지역 이탈 이력을 조회 해 볼 수 있음으로써 정확한 사고 발생 시각 및 지점을 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서 개발한 이동경로관리 서비스를 이용함으로써 아동 범죄 및 노약자 사고를 사전에 예방하도록 도와주고 사후에는 신속한 처리를 할 수 있도록 해 줄 것이다.

Development Integrated Retrieval Methods for OpenAPIs and Mashup Capable Services in u-GIS Environments (u-GIS 환경에서 OpenAPI와 매쉬업 가능 서비스에 대한 통합 검색 기법 개발)

  • As the trend of the Web is changing toward 'Web 2.0', OpenAPIs, Web 2.0's core technology, are used in many web sites. In the past, services in websites are used in its own, but recently it is possible to use services in other websites by using OpenAPI. In u-GIS many vendors also can provide combined service by using OpenAPI. There are already lots of OpenAPIs and the numer of OpenAPI increases very fast. So it is difficult to find a service that we want to use, and also difficult to find services for mashup. In this paper, we developed retrieval methods for OpenAPIs and mashup capable services based on similarity. First we define the integrated service information model to cover various protocols of OpenAPI, then developed a retrieval methods based on it. By implementing system according these methods by using relational database and JSP, we prove that the system can provide an ranked result sets based on similarity, OpenAPI's integration retrieval results and mashup capable service retrieval results.

  • A mashup is a web page or application that uses and combines information, contents or Open APIs available on the web to create a new service. The mashup developed by the need not combination of simple information can contribute to new added-values with practicality and convenience. Thus, in this paper, we want to develop a RIA-based dynamic mashup service for the users considering weather forecast and marine information importantly. We design and implement the system that it can register a number of information about a domain dynamically through registration process based on the map and present a mark of domain location on the map and the information including internal environment, external environment and weather of related to the domain within a webpage. Implemented service need not require a tedious process visiting other web sites every time to confirm the relevant information because we can see simultaneously related information with a map within a page.

REST-Based Open API Ontology Modeling and Automatic Mash-Up Method Using In/Output Properties (입출력 파라미터 특성을 이용한 REST 기반의 Open API 온톨로지 모델링 및 자동 매쉬업 방법)

  • Existing mash-up services could not be offered in accordance with the purposes and preferences of all users because they are created by the service developers. Therefore some precedent studies, which enable for individual users to create their own mash-up services automatically, have been conducted. In order to create automatic mash-up services, it is important to find elements to distinguish the possibility of mash-up. The precedent studies determine the possibility of mash-up through comparison of the similarity between input/output parameter names in the REST-based Open API. Only using the similarity to distinguish the possibility of mash-up, however, some unintended mash-up results can be occurred because the property of input/output parameters are not considered. In this paper, we propose the method considering the properties of input/output parameters to decrease the unintended mash-up results and extend ontology proposed in precedent studies by applying this property. And we propose the algorithm to distinguish the possibility of mash-up using the expanded ontology and describe the result of automatic mash-up services.
