This paper proposes and implements an on-line instruction manual system which can generate the instruction manual page for the target device at the smartphone on the spot. The instruction manual app. on smartphone scans a QR code or reads NFC tag attached in the instruction manual management module embedded in the target device, and receives instruction manual data from the instruction manual management module through the Bluetooth communications and finally shows the refined instruction manual pages on the smartphone display using a Web-based templates. For the evaluation we embedded the instruction manual management module for an industrial generator with its instruction manual data. Assuming a circumstance of blackout we show that the proposed system can reduce the repair work within two steps compared to three steps in the existing one without the proposed system.

It is critical for public libraries to use service manuals to provide library services to the disabled. This research investigated librarians' opinion and discerned their utilization and importance of the current service manuals. Also, the study identified librarians' needs and priority of each component of the current manuals. According to the practitioners' evaluation, 'installation of convenience facility' was derived as the most important factor that should be described in detail. In addition, this study suggested that the interpretation of the critical factors should be different regarding to the each library type. The research also suggested various ways to raise low awareness and utilization of the current library manuals for the disabled.

우리나라에서는 1960년대부터 현재까지 도시화가 급속도로 진행되고 있다. 도시화가 진행됨에 따라 대부분 농경지로 사용되었던 토지의 이용 방법이 변화하였고 포장면적이 증가하면서 불투수면적과 강우유출량 또한 증가하였다. 이러한 현상으로 인해 도심지의 유출량이 증가하여 도심홍수가 빈번해지고, 비점오염물 증가로 인한 수질악화 등의 환경 문제가 더욱 심화되고 있다. 따라서 도시화로 인한 피해를 저감시키고 물순환 체계를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 저영향개발(LID, Low Impact Development) 기법의 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 그로 인해 LID 기법의 가치가 재조명되고 있다. 현재 LID 기법과 관련된 많은 연구가 진행되고 있지만 LID 시설물에 대한 이해와 유지 관리 필요성에 관한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 LID 기법을 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 적용하기 위해 국내 9종의 매뉴얼과 국외 2종의 매뉴얼을 검토하여 국내 실정에 적합한 LID 시설 유지관리 기법을 고안하여 LID 개념을 통합적으로 정립하였으며 LID와 관련된 시설물, 모니터링 요소, 유지관리 등의 기술적인 정보를 제공하기 위한 한국형 LID 시설유지관리 매뉴얼을 작성하였다. 매뉴얼은 첫째, LID 전반적인 이해를 돕기 위해 LID 정의, LID 시설물의 종류, 설치기준 및 운영 관리기준에 대한 내용을 다루고 둘째, LID 시설물의 특징, 구성, 설치가능 지역, 설치 시 고려사항, 유지관리 기법, 설치 예에 대한 내용으로 구성하였으며 이외에도 시설물의 일반적인 점검사항, 토지이용별 고려사항 등 시설물 설치 후 점검 방법, 유의사항 등을 제시하였다. 향후 매뉴얼의 타당성을 검토하기 위해 부산대학교 양산캠퍼스에 완공된 LID 실증단지의 시범 LID 시설물에 적용하여 국내 LID 시설물에 대한 매뉴얼의 적용성을 높일 예정이다.

2006년 발사 예정인 아리랑 위성 2호의 MSC 영상자료에 대한 사용자 매뉴얼 초안이 완성되었다. 사용자 매뉴얼 초안에는 아리랑 위성 2호에 대한 간략한 소개와 일반 사용자들이 아리랑 위성 2호 MSC 영상자료를 사용함에 있어서 필요한 MSC 영상자료의 저장 형식, 저장 내용, 기하 보정 내용, 영상 품질 등의 정보들을 담고 있다. 아직까지는 사용자 매뉴얼 초안 내에 새로이 수정되어야 하는 부분이나, 추가되어야 하는 부분들이 있으나, 아리랑 위성 2호 MSC 영상자료를 일반 사용자들에게 배포하는 시점에 맞추어 MSC 영상자료와 함께 사용자 매뉴얼 최종본이 일반 사용자들에게 제공될 계획이다.

디지털 천체투영기의 보급은 천체투영관의 운영과 교육적 활용 방법에 변화를 가져왔다. 돔영상물 상영이 가능한 디지털 천체투영기를 도입한 천체투영관들의 교육적 활용을 높이기 위해서는 영상물을 활용한 교육 콘텐츠 개발이 선행되어야 하다. 이번 연구에서는 1)AMNH(American Museum of Natural History)에서 사용되고 있는 돔영상물의 교육자 매뉴얼들을 사례조사 하였고, 2)사례조사 결과와 2007 개정 과학과 교육과정을 고려하여 돔영상물 Planets(Astronef Production제작, 2010)의 교육자 매뉴얼을 개발 하였다. 개발된 Planets 교육자 매뉴얼의 활용은 개관 예정인 국립대구과학관과 국립광주과학관 천체투영관의 운영 활성화와 교육활동을 극대화 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한 국내에서 수행중인 천문학 프로젝트(KVN, GMT, KMTNet, SKA 등)들의 교육자 매뉴얼 제작에 참고자료로 활용되길 기대한다.
