  • The image of woman shown in an animation was pretty extraordinary as Disney has kept the conservative tendency so far. The two princesses in were described as independent women getting out of the traditional gender role and dependence on men. For this reason, there is a tendency that interprets as a feminist work. Even though the character showing the image of independent woman could be an essential index to define feminist work, it is not enough to define the tendency of works. Thus, this study reviewed if it would be valid to interpret as a feminist work. First, the 'sisterhood' which is the main theme of contained the feminist concept as 'women's solidarity' on top of friendship between sisters. Therefore, when analyzed focusing on the core concept of women's solidarity like difference, empathy, and solidarity, reflected 'differences' in narration, character, and image, etc. When differences in sisters which became the cause for misunderstanding and conflict were acknowledge based on their true love, the process of forming empathy and solidarity was described. The solidarity between Elsa and Anna not only became the power to defeat the enemy, but also reflected the feminist value of forming the community of coexistence like Adelen which was rebuilt after getting back the spring. Thus, it was verified that is a feminist work.

  • The 'fear' in animation has a couple of problems to apply the criteria for identical genre as in movie or literature. First, the mutilation and destruction of one's body and the appearance of monsters and ghosts are not a normal way of expression and could not apply to one genre. Second, the cause of fear comes from the subject of fear which is a reality that is something 'unrealistic' and 'special' and is approachable. This is all possible in a three dimensional world, but animation is not founded on realism. According to this logic, the horror genre in animation or the esthetic experience of animation is not possible. However, many of the powerful images you can see from the horror genre are all created from animation. Therefore, many writers are drawn to the horror in animation and tried to express in many different ways. This study will include the general idea of fear which drives the audience to the felling of fear and terror but we will mainly focus on the three types of fear - ghost story, cannibalism, and madness - and discover the meaning of fear used in animation. Through this process, we anticipate that fear in animation is not just for pure amusement, but will be able to investigate the meaning of fear philosophically even if the hidden side of reality is terrifying.

  • Immersion is the key factor in determining success or failure for fictional narrative animations. It does matter to not only for the socio-economic achievements like box-office success but to the asthetical achievement, immersion is very important prerequisite character that are raised in terms of research needs. Fictional narrative animation shares the audience's immersive method with the narrative content and Virtual Reality, since animation has the character which narrates itself with the visual image format (including sound) and added the fact that 3D format which emphasizes realism compared with the recent 2D animation has been ubiquitous phenomenon. In other words, the artistic for called 'animation' is located between the view point that text has the immersive point intrinsic and oppositely, specific function of the certain media which stays extrinsic of the text enforce the participants into the immersion. In any case, the subject who experience immersion is the audience, so the most useful theory to research the phenomenon 'immersion' is Constructivism cognitive narrotologic approach which lies the peader-spectator as the centric notion and is more useful than text analysis or research on the visual effects. In this study, research and review about the studies on the audience's immersive experience would be preceded particularly aroud the constructivism theories, and examine the uniqueness and naures of the animation which makes the audience immersive.

In addition, IT technology molten in city space is testing the possibility of new media through the meeting with architecture. However, unlike its infra enlargement, the definition about media-façade is not clear so the system was constructed in a level of night lightscape or outdoor image advertisement. The purpose of this guideline is the regulation from the negative aspect rather than the possibility of various visual, artistic media expressions. Therefore, it could not show essential concept of media-façade. Moreover, most of companies or building owners focus on short-term profit and marketing effect rather than prepare various contents so they can not use constructed infra properly. • Humans have made a third person over a long history and differentiated them from each other. Discrimination of 'us' and 'them' has led Derrida to make works to look upon the human nature towards animal strangers. This study tries to examine upon the expansion of animal strangers by focusing on 'The Animal That Therefore I am.' Furthermore, the research asserts to pay more attention to animal strangers by looking at his works of how modern people think about animals in the current society. Derrida expresses his 'humiliation' that he felt when he faced his cat after a shower. This emotion brings up the topic that was neglected in the conventional wisdom and casts doubts on this. This emotion of humuliation is only felt by humans, and he explains this is one way of feeling like a 'human.' The researcher therefore focuses on the 'experiences of humans' and looks at the ambivalence of humans in culture and the irony in natural animals. This perspective criticizes Speciesism, which considers people other than oneself able to be suffered. This view also tried to escape anthro-pocentrism and looked at the animals on their own. This study examines current animal strangers with theories of Donna Haraway and Jane Goodal, and analyzes Derrida's artworks with Susan Sontag's philosophy. This aims to lead to a conclusion of how to reach an optimal relationship between human and animal. By focusing on Derrida, who has not been highlighted yet in this country, hopes to create effective communication between human and animal by explaining his artworks through new philosophy of animals.

  • In recent years, some of the brands of cosmetics in Korea have launched the BB Cream only for man. Cosmetics is not only necessary for woman and it has been accepted by the male. A programme hosted by 김기수 is aimed to teach the female how to make up. As a result, the comprehension of the gender and the development of the times have been combined closely. The understanding of gender has been developed from binary opposition to the diversity of gender. The movements that were aimed at advocating feminism caused by some events reminded us of that we should pay attention to the equalization of the gender. We can see that people want to liberate themselves from the sexual stereotype through these social phenomenons. Meanwhile, animation advertising has also experienced a transformation, which is from that to shape a role under sexual stereotype to that to pay more attention to the diversity of gender during the progress of shaping a role. During the initial stage of the animation advertising's prosperity, what it described was based on the male. The male was the permanent theme. On the contrary, the female only played a subordinate role. However, with the development of feminism, to realize self-worth of the female and to fight for the gender equality have been mentioned more and more frequently. All these factors have prompted the animation advertising to break the stereotype when shaping a new role and change the sexual stereotype in order to create new animation figures.
