Exploring the Application Extension of Social Marketing Based on Social Capital Theory (사회자본이론을 통한 사회마케팅의 응용확장에 관한 탐색적 연구 -시장실패와 복잡한 교환의 맥락을 중심으로-)

  • Social marketing emerged as a significant paradigm in the late 1960s when the conceptual boundaries of marketing were broadened by some scholars. Accordingly, social marketers have tended to apply traditional marketing tools, albeit within a vastly different context. After reviewing and classifying the social marketing literature into traditional and interdisciplinary approach, the author found out that both approaches disregarded the special context in which social marketing operated. In this regard, the author maintains that social marketers, operating in an environment that is characterized by intricate exchange and amplified market failure brought about by externalities, may be ill-equipped to foster change utilizing conventional marketing tools. Therefore, this paper proposes that social capital is an appropriate theory to supplement traditional notions of marketing to further enhance the field of social marketing as it takes into account market failure, intricate exchange, and behavioral and social phenomena.

  • 현대마케팅의 특징을 규정짓는 요소는 무엇일까. 최근마케팅의 가장 큰 화두는 무엇일까. 약간의 과장을 보탠다면 ‘브랜드’와 ‘정보화’의 두요소가 모든 마케팅을 규정 짓는다고 할 수있다. 정보의 교환과 소통이 인터넷이라는 혁명적인 도구를 이용해 활발해졌고, 그러한 환경변화는 마케팅의 중심에 있는 브랜드를 육성하는 방법까지도 변화시켰다. 브랜드를 제대로 육성하기 위해서는 상투적인 마케팅 수단을 벗어나 새롭게 발전된 개념에 대한 이해가 필수적이라고 주장하는 이들이 힘을 얻고 있다. 특히‘ 체험마케팅(Experiential Marketing)’과‘ 브랜드화 된 고객 경험(Branded Customer Experience)’이란 개념이 마케팅의 새로운 틀로 부각되고있다.

  • 기존의 관계마케팅에 대한 연구에 있어서 소비자 만족과 같은 고객의 평가에 대한 경험적 연구들이 많이 진행되어 왔지만 기업에 대한 소비자들의 관계성이 강하고 약한 다양성을 구분하지 못하고, 대부분의 연구들이 상대적으로 단기적이거나 약한 관계에 대한 실증연구의 결과들을 제시하고 있기 때문에 상대적으로 관계지향성이 높은 고객에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 거래적 교환관계에서부터 관계지향적 교환관계까지의 연속적 고객관계선상에서 비교적 관계지향성이 높은 고객과의 관계구축을 구전의도와 재구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인의 관점에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 먼저 관계마케팅에서 핵심적인 구성요소인 요인별 만족과 전반적 만족 그리고 몰입과 신뢰 개념을 검토하고, 이들 구성요소들간의 관계를 파악한 후, 재구매의도에 대한 몰입과 신뢰의 효과를 검토하였다. 본 연구에서는 기업과 5년이상 장기적인 관계를 유지하고 있는 심야전력고객을 대상으로 하여 실증연구를 실시하였는데, 분석 결과 전반적 만족은 요인별 만족과 구전의도에 매개적 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 관계적 교환관계에 있어서 요인별 만족과 재구매의도는 신뢰와 몰입수준에 의해 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 요인별 만족이 신뢰와 몰입에 미치는 영향도 다르게 나타났는데, 심야요금제도와 서비스맨에 대한 만족이 몰입에 영향을 미치며, 제품요인과 대리점 요인에 대한 만족이 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Advancement of mobile technology opened new business field in existing marketing area and in spirit of depression of advertisement market due to worldwide shrunken business, investment mobile advertisement market only jas a tendency to increase. In this paper I tried to know some factors to influence on the acceptance of customer to receive the referring advertisement continually through the study of 'KaKaotalk Plus Friends', a kind of marketing platform of KaKaotalk, the model killer application of Smart Phone. For this purpose I developed the research model based on Customer Value Theory and Social Exchange Theory etc. Futhermore based on these theories I studied the facts to influence on the acceptance of customer using KaKaotalk Plus Friends Service.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the nature of the relationship between several factors representing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) service quality enumerated in the service marketing literature and the adaptability to the marketing strategy of EDI service firm in Korea. An empirical study was carried out to examine not only the determinants of shipping service quality and satisfaction level but also its implications to the service marketing strategy. The data investigating the determinants of EDI service quality were collected from Korean EDI end-users. Exploratory Factor analysis was carried out to analyze the data.

Characteristics of the Library Services Market (도서관 서비스 시장의 특성)

  • The purpose of this conceptual paper is to identify the library services market and its characteristics versus the common commodity market so that marketing and management in library services can be more fruitful in terms of research and development. Based on the developed hypothetical market, a library services market is identified; the market is then characterized in comparison to the common commodity market using three theoretical characteristics of the library services market: indirect exchange, limited competition, and time-lagging exchange. Based on these characteristics, two possible research directions are suggested: development of goals for library management and consideration of applications in library marketing.

  • The research analyzed to verify that self-support center employee's internal marketing, social exchange relation and personal characteristic effect on self-support program which is essential to provide job and to progress self-support ability for workable low-income group. The research used questionnaires of 156 substances to analyze in self-support center employee within Gwang-Ju area. The questionnaire was analyzed using statistical package for the social sciences(SPSS) program and it used factor analysis, reliability analysis and especially hierarchical regression multiple analysis for hypothesis test. The result of research that self-support center employee's education, training, delegation of authority and job efficacy effect on maximize business result through mediated effect of emotional immersion. Therefore, the research proposes improvement of self-support center employee's education, training, delegation of authority and job efficacy.

  • From marketing perspectives, WOM(Word-of-Mouth) is one of the communication methods for travelers. It can be an instrument of the effect on tourist decision. The growing predominance of internet use has further highlighted the need for understanding of UCC(User-created contents) tourism information such as travel experience and travel recommendation. This paper was to examine usage patterns of UCC tourism information using experimental design and contents analysis. The result indicated that there were qualities of UCC tourism information. That is useful implication to tourism information-related marketers in destination marketing.

  • It is true that internet provides consumers with an efficient way to search information with minimal effort and cost, which facilitates better decision making. Especially, previous studies revealed that the online word-of-mouth marketing is widely used as a source of consumers' information seeking and purchase decision making. Even with this importance of the online word-of-mouth communication on internet few researches have systematically addressed the issue. This study investigates the effect of consumers' motives on perceived usefulness of word-of-mouth marketing in online shopping mall contents. The results are as follows: First, choice uncertainty, perceived sacrifice, and social pressure play an important role for perceived usefulness of word-of-mouth marketing. Second, perceived usefulness has directly affected consumers' quality perception. Thus, it is essential for internet companies to find ways to encourage their customers to engage in word-of-mouth communication on their websites.
