Implementation of essential evaluation modules on the grid-style traffic light network (그리드 구조를 갖는 신호등망에서의 경로제어 평가를 위한 기본 모듈 구현)

  • 본 논문에서는 그리드 형태의 레이아웃을 갖는 도시지역 신호등망에 대해 효율적인 라우팅 기법을 개발하고 평가할 수 있는 프레임워크를 구성한다. 신호등망은 다중인접 그래프로 자료구조화하며 직접 통신이 가능한 노드들에게는 링크가 추가되었다. 또 전송 전에 channel probing에 의해 경로를 선택하는 split-merge 방식을 고려하여 가상링크를 그래프에 추가하고 이의 비용을 산정한다. 이후 Dijkstra 알고리즘과 같이 프레임워크에서 제공되는 경로 탐색 기능으로 하여금 가상링크를 포함한 경로를 찾은 다음 최종적으로 이 경로를 기반으로 가상링크를 실제링크로 변환하도록 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 슬롯 오류 비율을 변화시켜가면서 실제 전송 성공률을 측정할 수 있으며 새로운 경로배정 알고리즘 개발을 위한 피드백을 제공할 수 있다.

  • 인터넷의 발전과 함께 유해사이트의 급속한 증가로 유해사이트 분류의 신뢰도를 높일 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 기존의 유해사이트 분류방식에는 텍스트 기반의 분류방식과 Skin-Color Detection 알고리즘을 이용한 이미지 기반 방식이 있으며, 현재 텍스트 기반의 사이트 분류방식이 보편적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존 유해사이트 분류의 신뢰도를 높이기 위하여 유해사이트에 포함된 링크 정보를 기반으로 유해사이트 분류의 정확성을 검증할 수 있음을 증명하였다.

A Travel Time Estimation Algorithm using Transit GPS Probe Data (Transit GPS Data를 이용한 링크통행시간 추정 알고리즘 개발)

  • The bus probe-based link travel times were more readily available due to bus' fixed route schedule and it was different from that of taxi-based one in its value for the same link. At the same time, the bus-based one showed less accurate information than the taxi-based link travel time, in terms of reliability expressed by 1-RMSE(%) measure. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a heuristic algorithm for mixing both sources-based link travel times. The algorithm used both real-time and historical profile travel times. Real-time source used 4 consecutive periods' average and historical source used average value of link travel time for various congestion levels. The algorithm was evaluated for Seoul urban arterial network 3 corridors and 20 links. The results based on the developed algorithm were superior than the mere fusion based link travel times and the reliability amounted up to 71.45%. Some limitation and future research agenda have also been discussed.

A Study on Design Scheme of Mesh-Based Survivable WDM Networks (메쉬 기반의 생존성 WDM망의 설계 기법에 관한 연구)

  • A single fiber failure in mesh-based WDM networks may result in the loss of a large number of data. To remedy this problem, an efficient restoration algorithm for a single fiber failure in the mesh- based WDM network is necessary. We propose a new algorithm for restoration scheme in WDM networks and compare it with previous schemes. Path restoration and link restoration are two representative restoration schemes which deal with only a single link failure. In this paper, we propose two kinds of efficient restoration scheme. In the proposed schemes the restoration path for each link failure is not secured. The mesh network is decomposed into a number of small loops. In one algorithm, any link failure in a certain loop is regarded as the failure of the loop and the restoration lightpath is selected by detouring the failed loop. In another scheme any link failure in a certain loop is restored within the loop. We compare performance of the proposed schemes with conventional path restoration scheme and link restoration scheme. Simulation results show that CPU time in the proposed schemes decreases compared with that in path restoration scheme and link restoration scheme, although total wavelength mileage usage increases by 10% to 50%.

Local Repair Routing Algorithm using Link Breakage Prediction in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (모바일 애드 혹 네트워크에서 링크 단절 예측을 사용한 지역 수정 라우팅 알고리즘)

  • A number of routing algorithms have been studied for wireless mobile ad-hoc network. Among them, the AODV routing algorithm with on-demand method periodically transmits hello message and monitors link state during data transmission in order to maintain routing paths. When a path is disconnected, a node that senses it transmits a RERR packet to the transmitting node or transmits a RREQ locally so that the path could be repaired. With that, the control packet such as a RREQ is broadcast, which causes the consumption of bandwidth and incurs data latency. This paper proposes a LRRLBP algorithm that locally repairs a path by predicting link state before disconnecting the path based on the AODV routing protocol for solving such problems. Intensive simulations with the results using NS-2 simulator are shown for verifying the proposed protocol.

  • 링크 예측 기법은 소셜 네트워크 분석 중 한 방법으로서 그래프 내에서 추가적으로 발생하는 링크를 어떻게 예측하여 네트워크에 추가하는 가에 대한 문제이며 소셜 네트워크의 친구 추천 서비스, 상관 관계 분석, 테러리스트 네트워크 모니터링 등 여러 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 데이터가 대용량화 됨에 따라 모든 데이터를 메모리에 적재하지 못하거나 최단경로 알고리즘의 반복 수행 등 많은 수행시간을 요구하기 때문에 분산 처리 환경이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 프리겔 기반의 모든 노드들 간의 최단경로를 찾는 알고리즘의 반복 수행을 제거하여 수행속도를 향상시킨다. 다양한 데이터 셋에 따른 수행 시간을 측정하여 제안하는 기법의 우수성을 보인다.

K-th Path Search Algorithms with the Link Label Correcting (링크표지갱신 다수경로탐색 알고리즘)

  • Given a path represented by a sequence of link numbers in a graph, the vine is differentiated from the loop in a sense that any link number can be visited in the path no more than once, while more than once in the loop. The vine provides a proper idea on complicated travel patterns such as U-turn and P-turn witnessed near intersections in urban transportation networks. Application of the link label method(LLM) to the shortest Path algorithms(SPA) enables to take into account these vine travel features. This study aims at expanding the LLM to a K-th path search algorithm (KPSA), which adopts the node-based-label correcting method to find a group of K number of paths. The paths including the vine type of travels are conceptualized as drivers reasonable route choice behaviors(RRCB) based on non-repetition of the same link in the paths, and the link-label-based MPSA is proposed on the basis of the RRCB. The small-scaled network test shows that the algorithm sequence works correctly producing multiple paths satisfying the RRCB. The large-scaled network study detects the solution degeneration (SD) problem in case the number of paths (K) is not sufficient enough, and the (K-1) dimension algorithm is developed to prevent the SD from the 1st path of each link, so that it may be applied as reasonable alternative route information tool, an important requirement of which is if it can generate small number of distinct alternative paths.

Clustering of Web Document Exploiting with the Union of Term frequency and Co-link in Hypertext (단어빈도와 동시링크의 결합을 통한 웹 문서 클러스터링 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we have focused that the number of word in the web document affects definite clustering performance. Our experimental results have clearly shown the relationship between the amounts of word and its impact on clustering performance. We also have presented an algorithm that can be supplemented of the contrast portion through co-links frequency of web documents. Testing bench of this research is 1,449 web documents included on 'Natural science' category among the Naver Directory. We have clustered these objects by term-based clustering, link-based clustering, and hybrid clustering method, and compared the output results with originally allocated category of Naver directory.

A Route Selection Algorithm using a Statistical Approach (통계적 기법을 이용한 경로 선택 알고리즘)

  • Since most of the current route selection algorithms use the shortest path algorithm, network resources can not be efficiently used also traffics be concentrated on specific paths resulting in congestgion. In this paper we propose the statistical route selections(SRS) algorithm which adopts a statistical mechanism to utilize the network resource efficiently and to avoid congestion. The SRS algorithm handles requests on demand and chooses a path that meets the requested bandwidth. With the advent of the MPLS it becomes possible to establish an explicit LSP which can be used for traffic load balancing. The SRS algorithm finds a set of link utilizations for route selection, computes link weights using statistical mechanism and finds the shortest path from the weights. Our statistical mechanism computes the mean and the variance of link utilizations and selects a route such that it can reduce the variance and the number of congested links and increase the utilization of network resources. Throughout the simulation, we show that the SRS algorithm performs better than other route selection algorithms on several metrics like the number of connection setup failures and the number of congested links.
