  • 본 논문에서는 현재 표면처리산업에서의 피도금걸이-랙에 대한 수동적인 데이터 관리의 문제점을 해결하고자 모바일 RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 리더기 및 스마트 모바일 디바이스를 이용한 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 랙의 라이프사이클에 따른 상태전이를 분석하고, RFID 시스템을 이용한 자동인식기술을 사용하였다. 자동 인식된 랙은 현재 상태에 따라 전이를 일으키는 활동을 수행하도록 시스템을 구축하였으며, 다양한 유형의 랙을 각 상황에 맞게 식별해 내는 방법을 통해 도금라인 프로세스의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하였다.

A Development of RSS-based Educational Information System for Providing Adapted Information (맞춤형 정보제공을 위한 RSS 기반 교육정보시스템의 개발)

  • In this study, we develop a RSS-based educational information system for providing users, such as teachers, students, and parents of students with an adapted information. In order to collect an educational information from diverse web pages we design a web-based RSS reader. The RSS reader reads RSS files from the web sites or blogs which provide RSS feeds and then creates XML documents. The created XML documents are classified and registered into the system. Whenever the registered web-pages are updated, the system can automatically collect the updated information and provide the user with it. Therefore the user can be provided a real-time adapted educational information without searching web-sites from the system.

  • 대형마트 혹은 일반 마트에서 물건을 구매할 때 지금까지 얼마치의 물건을 담았는지 소비자들은 알기 어렵다. 그리고 여러 사람들이 많은 물건을 한 번에 구매하기 때문에 계산대에서 길게 늘어진 줄을 보고 최대한 사람이 적은 곳을 찾은 경험은 다들 있을 것이다. 그러한 점에서 최근 조금씩 늘어나는 무인 계산대에서 아이디어를 얻어 쇼핑을 할 때 끌고 다니는 카트에서 계산과정을 처리해 계산시간을 줄이고자 했다. 그러하여 카트에서 물건을 인식할 수 있어야 하며 인식한 물건의 가격 및 정보 등을 저장하고 있어야한다. 그래서 카트에 바코드를 인식할 수 있는 리더기와 가격정보를 보여 주는 스크린을 설치하였으며 계산대에 가서 저장했던 정보를 한 번에 처리기위해 QR 코드를 사용하였다. 스크린에 QR 코드를 띄우고 계산대에서 QR 코드를 찍으면 가격정보를 알 수 있고 그 자리에서 계산까지 가능하며 원하는 소비자는 본인의 휴대폰에 설치된 가계부에서도 QR 코드를 찍어서 구매한 물건들의 가격과 자세한 구매목록을 쉽게 저장할 수 있다. 기존 가계부에서는 구매목록을 하나하나 적어야 하기 때문에 귀찮을 수 있지만 이러한 방법을 통하면 기존방식보다 훨씬 편리할 것이라 생각했다.

  • In this paper, we implement an automatic entity information management system for smart refrigerator using RFID technology in which objects containing electronic tags are automatically identified using radio wave. Unlike current "smart" refrigerators, the system presented in this paper implements smart tag information acquisition mechanism and real-time information management system to provide various information on entities in refrigerators to local and remote users. As the first step, this paper analyzes the requirements for smart refrigerator system based on the RFID and suggests design considerations. Based on the analysis, we propose and implement an efficient tag location tracking method based on antenna transfer method and an intelligent tag information management system based on embedded database and web server. We also provide a wide range of experimental results on the number of tags identified at a time and the tag recognition ratio according to the RFID antenna transfer speed and the angle between tag reader and tags.

  • The evolution and application of RFID technologies have been at the forefront of allowing aviation industries to improve the quality of aircraft maintenance and air cargo handling. However, safety problems in airplane operation are arising from the hazards of frequencies transmitted due to RFID systems. Though the intensities of frequencies back-scattered from the tags are very weak, some malfunctions are anticipated due to induction coupling on aircraft wiring. Therefore, safety assessment such as electromagnetic compatability should be accomplished upon aircraft critical and essential equipments before installations.

  • ISO/IEC/WD 24753 defines new modem specifications for a long-range RFID communications and application protocol for a sensor tag system. According to the standard, the frequency offset of the tag is 4%. In general wireless communications systems, it is known that a coherent receiver is superior to a non-coherent receiver. However, if the frequency offset is large, it is difficult to restore the original data accurately with a coherent receiver, and the performance of a coherent receiver is easily degraded. In this paper, a non-coherent receiver structure is adopted to solve the frequency offset problem of long-range RFID communications. We designed a frequency estimation block to find an optimal frequency from the received signal with 4% frequency offset and proposed a start frame delimiter (SFD) detection algorithm to determine the start position of the payload. The frequency estimation block finds the optimal frequency from the received signal using 9-correlators. And the SFD detection block searches the received signal to find the start position of the payload with dual correlator. We implemented a long-range RFID reader with the proposed methods and evaluated its performance in a wired/wireless test network. The implemented long-range RFID reader showed more superior performance than the commercial RFID reader in terms of recognition range.

  • Track circuit is a simple electrical device which lies in the connection of the two rails by the wheels and axle of locomotives and rolling stock to short out an electrical circuit, used to detect the absence of a train on rail tracks. In railway signaling system, there are similar systems such as RFID and wheel sensor, GPS etc, are research and developing. Hybrid track circuit is using RFID antenna and reader on the cab and RFID tag on the sleeper. because of the safety in railway operation, tag detection of train position detection function in the hybrid track circuit needs high reliability. This paper studied tag recognition enhancement used tag angles.

  • In this paper, the implementation of a production control system based on RFID has been studied in order to obtain an exact Cost Center data such as the name of workers included a process of work and a time period to finish the process. The cost center of a worker will be correctly obtained by checking the work time using RFID tag data and by transmitting the data to a server of ERP or POP system. And also warming up time, cleaning time, power failure, and out of order sign will be checked and calculated using the data stored in RFID tags attached in workers and machine facilities. Therefore, exact Cost Center data will be obtained by the production control system with touch screens entering the data according to the situation in real time.

  • RFID 리더기가 영역내의 다수의 태그를 인식하기 위해선 충돌방지 알고리즘이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문은 Auto ID Class 0에서 정의한 충돌방지 알고리즘인 Bit-by-Bit 이진트리 알고리즘(BBB)의 충돌 위치를 스택에 저장하고 이를 통해 다음 질의어를 결정함으로써 성능이 크게 개선된 Stack-bit-by-bit(SBBB) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 검증결과 질의-응답 횟수, 질의어의 크기, 응답어의 크기의 모든 면에서 성능이 개선된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Zigbee is a wireless communication technology optimized for Wireless Sensor Network environment. Implementation of location estimation system is based on Zigbee. In this paper, we implement mobile information system using zigbee technology. The proposed system is composed of mobile terminal software and mobile reader softwrae. We also used our hardware in previous system.
