인터뷰 - 보진재 김정선 사장

  • 우리나라 최고의 인쇄사로 코스닥 상장 기업인 (주)보진재(대표 김정선)가 지난 4월 20일 관리종목으로 편입되면서 부도설 등 갖가지 루머에 시달렸다. 과거엔 관리종목으로 편입되면 대개 부도나 심각한 경영위기가 수반되었기 때문이다. 그러나 이번 보진재의 경우는 ‘관리종목 편입 규정’이 바뀌면서 어쩔 수 없이 발생한 일이었는데도 한동안 부도설과 M&A설 등이 난무했다. 김정선 사장을 만나 저간의 사정과 현재 보진재의 상황, 앞으로의 계획 등을 들어봤다.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 발전은 네트워크를 통해 많은 정보를 흘러가도록 만들었다. 그 정보들 중에는 다른 시스템이나 사용자에게 루머나 바이러스와 같은 좋지 않은 정보를 포함하는 경우도 있는데, 이에 대비해서 이런 악성정보가 더 많이 퍼져나가지 않도록 다양한 보안방법들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 정보를 처음 퍼뜨린 근원을 추정해 나가는 문제를 고려한다. 특히, 기존의 이 문제를 다룬 많은 연구에서와는 다르게 본 연구에서는 정보가 시간이 지남에 따라, 혹은 근원으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 그 전파력이 감쇠되는 여러 가지 정보확산 모델을 고려한 후, 각각의 모델에서 트리기반 추정법을 사용하여 정보의 근원을 얼마나 잘 탐지해 내는지에 대해 살펴본다.

  • Because of the recent development of information technology, especially the popularization of social media, false rumors and abusive comments on social media have increased, which has accelerated conflicts in online society. Since these conflicts lead to significant negative influences on online society, it is important to figure out how to cope with the conflicts and integrate the society. Thus, this study provides effective political implications that will advance the society where people can communicate based on trust in social media. In addition, we suggest new sociocultural change phenomenon and social integration by drawing the Causal Loop Diagram focusing on the dimension of social capital in social media environment.

  • Concerning the circumstance of corporate management, which is the appearance of various stakeholder and the possibility of widespread in irresponsible rumours, the objective rating a company in more highly emphasized in these time. According to the situation, various measures are being suggested. One of those efforts, environmental, sustainable, or corporate social responsible(CSR) aspects, which are based on the environmental risk reduction capability are regarded as an important component. In this study, we reviewed the CSR, which is most important Survival factor to the KEPCO's sustainability and some issues are suggested to maximize the KEPCO's corporate value.

  • The network analysis is done to explore what kind if issues are diffused about earthquake and the role of social media. The types of disaster information is classified into formal and informal. The role of actor is classified based on the concentrativeness and the diffusion of issue. Youttube is functioned as a formal channel and an informal channel when disaster happened. In case of government's video, issue contractiveness is high but the diffusion is low. In case of media's video, issue contractiveness and the diffusion are all high. In case of individual channel, issue contractiveness is low, but diffusion is high. In disaster, youtube is a tool to respread the disaster issue. Government needs to try diffusion of government's news actively in disaster.

  • Rumor or abusive web postings in internet has become a social issue. Web postings may be proposed on evidence in form of a screenshot in libel suit, but a screenshot can be easily modified by computer programs. A person can make ill use of the screenshot which is modified deliberately original contents to opposite meaning in a lawsuit. That makes an innocent person to be punished because it can have difficulties to verify despite analyzing the server data. A screenshot of web postings is likely to fail to prove its authenticity and it is not able to reflect the fact. If notarization for web postings is offered, clear and convincing evidence can be submitted in a court. So, related techniques and policies should be established In this paper, we propose some technical and legal conditions and design for notarization and archive system of web postings for litigation.

  • There are many institutions, organizations, and sites related to responding to infectious diseases, but as the pandemic situation such as COVID-19 continues for years, there are many changes in the initial and current aspects, and accordingly, policies and response systems are evolving. As a result, regional gaps arise, and various problems are scattered due to trust, distrust, and implementation of policies. Therefore, in the process of analyzing social data including information transmission, Twitter data, one of the major social media platforms containing inaccurate information from unknown sources, was developed to prevent facts in advance. Based on social data, which is unstructured data, an algorithm that can automatically detect infectious disease threats is developed to create an objective basis for responding to the infectious disease crisis to solidify international competitiveness in related fields.

  • With recent advances in information and communication technology, YouTube has become a powerful online space for users to create and share content about their interests and experiences, creating new cultural phenomena. In particular, there needs to be more research on social media in the manufacturing sector because, unlike distribution and retail, there has been relatively little direct contact with consumers. YouTube can positively affect firms' performance by promoting products and brands. On the other hand, it can also cause risks, such as production disruption due to rumors or misinformation. Thus, it is necessary for firms to examine how information about an electric automobile defects spreads on YouTube according to the number of subscribers and views through statistical network analysis.
