UCR활용수업의 실제학습시간 및 소실된 수업시간 분석 (The Analysis of ALT and Unuse of Learning Time in UCR Based Instruction)

  • 수업시간의 적절한 분배와 활용은 효과적인 수업의 필수 조건이며 기본 조건이라 할 수 있다. 하지만 지금까지 수행된 UCR(User Created Robot)활용수업 관련 연구 중에서는 수업시간에 관한 연구를 찾아보기 어렵다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 효과적인 UCR활용수업 수행을 위하여 UCR활용수업의 실제학습시간과 소실된 수업시간을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 3,4학년 통합학급 학생 3인을 대상으로 집중 관찰을 실시하였고 UCR활용수업 전 후에 교사를 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, UCR활용 수업은 일반수업에 비해 실제학습시간이 적게 나타났다. 또한 UCR활용수업에서 소실된 수업시간의 대부분은 로봇매체를 준비하거나 정리하는 시간으로 활용되었고, 일부는 학생들의 수업무관 행동 및 비집중 하거나 외부의 영향으로 수업시간이 소실된 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper presents a method to accommodate failures that affect aircraft dynamical characteristics, especially control surface jams on a large transport aircraft. The approach is to use the slow effectors, such as the stabilators or engines, in the feedforward manner. The simulation results indicate the performance of the RFCS. In some cases of control surface jam, the aircraft cannot recover without using the stabilators. Although the inputs to the slow effectors are determined using the nominal parameters, the effects of parameter change can be compensated by adjusting the control parameters for the fast surfaces. In the case of rudder jam, if the remaining control surfaces and the differential thrust cancel the moments produced by the stuck rudder, using the engine control improves time responses and reduces deflection angles of the control surfaces. If not, however, the aircraft starts a large rolling motion following a yawing motion. In that case, the stabilators should be used to damp the induced rolliig motion, instead of trying to directly cancel the moments caused by the stuck rudder. Unfortunately, the proposed control law for the stabilators does not give such inputs, because it does not take into account the dynamical effects which stuck surfaces have on the aircraft motions. However, we have shown through simulation that the aircraft can be recovered by giving the stabilators the control inputs that counteract the induced rolling moment. Besides, the method has also been shown through simulation to be effective in maintaining control during a situation similar to an actual accident. Finally let us mention a problem with the RFCS. As stated above, we have not established a method to select a trim point which call be reached as easily as possible using the remaining control effectors. In fact, recovery performance considerably depends on the trim states. As pointed out in Ref. 11, finding the best trim point for impaired aircraft will be one of the most difficult questions in RFCS design.

Near-infrared Spectroscopy and an Example of HAM Study;Brain Activation in the Development of Drawing Skills

  • Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) can be used to monitor brain activation by measuring changes in the concentration of oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin (Hb) by their different spectra in the near-infrared range. Because NIRS is a noninvasive, highly flexible and portable device, it is very suitable to study brain activation when a human repeatedly performs a manipulative task, and possibly provides useful information to construct human adaptive mechatronics (HAM). There is some evidence that the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) plays a major role in working memory and it is proposed that the use of working memory decreases as a human develops manipulative skills. In the present study, we investigated the activation of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) of the brain in Brodmann's areas 9 and 46 in drawing tasks to examine whether NIRS can measure the changes of DLPFC activation as a human develops manipulative skills. Subjects performed a mirror image drawing task and a square drawing task by ones' left hands. In the mirror image task the subject drew following a star shape based on a mirror image of it, but square drawing did not involve mirror image and was estimated to be simpler. The changes of the concentration of oxy-Hb was higher in the mirror image drawing than the square drawing in most subjects. The changes of oxy-Hb decreased as the subject repeated the drawing task in most subjects. In conclusion, The activation of DLPFC measured by NIRS can reflect the brain activity in the development of manipulative skills.

  • The DNA and protein data of diverse species have been daily discovered and deposited in the public archives according to each established format. Database systems in the public archives provide not only an easy-to-use, flexible interface to the public, but also in silico analysis tools of unidentified sequence data. Of such in silico analysis tools, multiple sequence alignment [1] methods relying on pairwise alignment and Smith-Waterman algorithm [2] enable us to identify unknown DNA, protein sequences or phylogenetic relation among several species. However, in the existing multiple alignment method as the number of sequences increases, the runtime increases exponentially. In order to remedy this problem, we adopted a parallel processing suffix tree algorithm that is able to search for common subsequences at one time without pairwise alignment. Also, the cross-matching subsequences triggering inexact-matching among the searched common subsequences might be produced. So, the cross-matching masking process was suggested in this paper. To identify the function of the clusters generated by suffix tree clustering, BLAST was combined with a clustering tool. Our clustering and annotating tool is summarized as the following steps: (1) construction of suffix tree; (2) masking of cross-matching pairs; (3) clustering of gene sequences and (4) annotating gene clusters by BLAST search. The system was successfully evaluated with 22 gene sequences in the pyrubate pathway of bacteria, clustering 7 clusters and finding out representative common subsequences of each cluster

사이버 국방을 위한 스마트 단말 보안기술 (Smart Device Security Technology for Cyber Defense)

  • 스마트폰과 같은 스마트 모바일 단말의 활용이 급증하면서 군에서도 스마트 단말을 이용하여 전투를 지휘하고 전장에서 활용하고자 하는 움직임이 있다. 이에 따라 미래전은 각종 정보통신기술이 융합된 스마트 모바일 단말이군의 지휘통제체계를 포함한 각종 무기체계에 접목되면서 전쟁양상의 일대 변화를 일으킬 가능성이 존재하며, 합동 전투지휘를 위한 스마트폰 기반의 실시간 정보기술은 감시정찰, 지휘통제체계에 융합되어 국방-IT 융합에 대표적인 사례가 될 것이다. 더 나아가서 이동망과 무선망 환경에 최적화된 모바일 단말 보안기술은 무인화체계인 국방로봇에 적용이 가능할 것이다. 이 논문에서는 전투지휘체계를 지원하거나 군사용으로 쓰이는 스마트 단말 동향을 살펴보고 보안 위협요소와 함께 이들 위협에 대응하기 위한 군사용 모바일 단말 보안기술 동향을 소개하고자 한다.

농업용 무한궤도형 자율주행 플랫폼의 경로 추종 및 추종 성능 향상을 위한 가변형 전방 주시거리 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Path Tracking Algorithm and Variable Look Ahead Distance Algorithm to Improve the Path-Following Performance of Autonomous Tracked Platform for Agriculture)

  • With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, autonomous driving technology is being commercialized in various industries. However, research on autonomous driving so far has focused on platforms with wheel-type platform. Research on a tracked platform is at a relatively inadequate step. Since the tracked platform has a different driving and steering method from the wheel-type platform, the existing research cannot be applied as it is. Therefore, a path-tracking algorithm suitable for a tracked platform is required. In this paper, we studied a path-tracking algorithm for a tracked platform based on a GPS sensor. The existing Pure Pursuit algorithm was applied in consideration of the characteristics of the tracked platform. And to compensate for "Cutting Corner", which is a disadvantage of the existing Pure Pursuit algorithm, an algorithm that changes the LAD according to the curvature of the path was developed. In the existing pure pursuit algorithm that used a tracked platform to drive a path including a right-angle turn, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.1034 m and the RMS error in the turning section was measured to be 0.2787 m. On the other hand, in the variable LAD algorithm, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.0987 m, and the RMS path error in the turning section was measured to be 0.1396 m. In the turning section, the RMS path error was reduced by 48.8971%. The validity of the algorithm was verified by measuring the path error by tracking the path using a tracked robot platform.

RDS(Robotic Drilling System) 구축을 위한 전용 End-Effector Prototype 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Specialized Prototype End-Effector for RDSs(Robotic Drilling Systems))

  • Robotic Drilling Systems(RDSs) set the standard for the factory automation systems in aerospace manufacturing. With the benefits of cost effective drilling and predictive maintenance, RDSs can provide greater flexibility in the manufacturing process. The system can be easily adopted to manage very complex and time-consuming processes, such as automated fastening hole drilling processes of large aircraft sections, where it would be difficult accomplished by workers following teaching or conventional guided methods. However, in order to build an RDS based on a CAD model, the precise calibration of the Tool Center Point(TCP) must be performed in order to define the relationships between the fastening-hole target and the End Effector(EEF). Based on the kinematics principle, the robot manipulator requires a new method to correct the 3D errors between the CAD model of the reference coordinate system and the actual measurements. The system can be called as a successful system if following conditions can be met; a. seamless integration of the industrial robot controller and the IO Level communication, b. performing pre-defined drilling procedures automatically. This study focuses on implementing a new technology called iGPS into the fastening-hole-drilling process, which is a critical process in aircraft manufacturing. The proposed system exhibits better than 100-micron 3D accuracy under the predefined working space. Based on the proposed EEF fastening-hole machining process, the corresponding processes and programs are developed, and its feasibility is studied.

모바일 플랫폼 기반 협동로봇의 사용자 추종을 위한 초음파 센서 활용 기법 (The Technique of Human tracking using ultrasonic sensor for Human Tracking of Cooperation robot based Mobile Platform)

  • 현재 지능화 된 협동로봇의 사용자 추종 방법은 비젼 시스템 기반 및 라이다를 이용한 사례가 일반적이고 성능도 우수하다. 그러나 2020년 전세계로 확산된 코로나19 사태에 폐쇄된 공간에서 의료진과 협동을 위한 로봇의 활약은 미흡한 실정이였다. 그 이유는 의료진들은 바이러스 감염 방지를 위하여 모두 방호복을 입고 있어 기존 연구된 기술로는 적용이 쉽지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 초음파 센서를 송신부와 수신부로 분리하여 이를 바탕으로 사용자의 위치를 추정하고 능동적으로 모바일 플랫폼이 사람을 따라다니며 협동 할 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 그러나 초음파센서는 경면반사 및 수, 발신 간 통신 단락으로 인한 불규칙 오차가 발생하고, 오차를 줄이기 위해 메디안 필터 일부 개선하여 적용하였으며 협소한 공간에서 원활한 작업 수행을 위해 곡률궤적을 적용해 주행기술을 향상시켰다. 실험 결과 메디안 필터 전, 후 거리, 각도의 오차는 약 70% 감소하였으며 'S', '8'자 코스 주행을 통해 주행 안정성을 확인하였다.

이동형 차량용 무인사격시스템의 외란 제거 및 자세 제어 (Disturbance Rejection and Attitude Control of the Unmanned Firing System of the Mobile Vehicle)

  • 시스템의 자세 제어는 사용되는 모터의 위치 제어로 대응되며, 이러한 시스템은 운용환경 시에 충격 진동이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 충격 진동 외란을 제거해야 요구하는 위치 제어를 수행할 수 있다. 로봇 제어 분야에서 불확실한 외란에 의한 로봇의 자세 제어는 가장 기본적이면서 중요한 분야중의 하나이다. 이러한 문제를 다루기 위하여 계산 토크 방식에 기초한 선형 제어기법이나 적응 제어 기법, 강인 제어 기법 등을 이용한 연구 결과들이 발표되고 있다. 그러나 그러한 기법은 일반적으로 로봇의 정확한 동력학적 특성을 알아야 하며, 구현하기가 복잡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 적응 규칙에 의하여 모델의 불확실성, 시스템의 변화, 외란으로 인해 발생하는 공칭 플랜트와의 오차를 보상하도록 제어 입력을 생성하는 내부 루프 부분과 공칭 플랜트 모델의 명령을 추종하도록 하여 제어 입력을 생성하는 외부 루프 부분으로 구성되는 방법인 외란관측기(Disturbance OBserver : DOB) 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 프로세서의 신뢰성과 수치 연산 및 알고리즘의 빠른 처리를 위해 현재 사용 빈도가 높은 TI사의 DSP시리즈 중에서 부동 소수점 연산 기능을 가지면서 모터 제어에 적합한 TMS320C2000계열의 TMS320F2812을 사용하여, 운용 시 발생되는 진동 등에 대한 외란 제거를 목적으로 한다. 본 논문은 규명된 시스템 모델식을 바탕으로 DOB 제어 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 시뮬레이션으로 검증된 DOB 모터 자세 제어 알고리즘을 DSP에 적용하기 위해 코드변환하고 PMSM 모터 모델 시뮬링크 블록을 구성하여 외란 관측기 제어 알고리즘을 모터 실험 시스템에 적용함으로써 타당성을 검증하고 상용 제어기로 실제 현장에 적용 가능함을 입증한다.

Development of a Six-Axis Force/Moment Sensor with Rectangular Taper Beams for an Intelligent Robot

  • This paper describes the development of a six-axis force/moment sensor with rectangular taper beams for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle. In order to accurately push and pull an object with an intelligent robot's hand, and in order to safely walk with an intelligent robot's foot, the robot's wrist and ankle should measure three forces Fx, Fy, and Fz, and three moments Mx, My, and Mz simultaneously from the mounted six-axis force/moment sensor to the intelligent robot's wrist and ankle. Unfortunately, the developed six-axis force/moment sensor utilized in other industrial fields is not proper for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle in the size and the rated output of the six-axis force/moment sensor. In this paper, the structure of a six-axis force/moment sensor with rectangular taper beams was newly modeled for an intelligent robot's wrist and ankle, and the sensing elements were designed by using the derived equations, following which the six-axis force/moment sensor was fabricated by attaching strain-gages on the sensing elements. Moreover, the characteristic test of the developed sensor was carried out by using the six-component force/moment sensor testing machine. The rated outputs from the derived equations agree well with those from the experiments. The interference error of the sensor is less than 2.87%.
