효과적인 어플리케이션 로그처리는 어플리케이션 개발 및 운영 시에 매우 중요한 요소 중에 하나이다. 파일이나 콘솔을 이용하여 동기식으로 처리되는 일반적인 로그 서비스는 동시에 대량의 로그를 처리해야 할 경우 시스템에 많은 부하를 주게 되는 문제점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 클라이언트가 지연 없이 로그를 남길 수 있는 비동기식 로그서비스가 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 비동기식 로그서비스 구현을 통해서 Message-Driven POJO(MDP) 구현 기술을 소개하고 최근에 소개된 EJB 3.0 Message Driven Bean(MDB) 기술과 비교 분석해 보도록 한다.

As soon as an intrusion is detected by kernel backdoor, the proposed method can be preserve secure and trustworthy evidence even in a damaged system. As an experimental tool, we implement a backup and analysis system, which can be response quickly, to minimize the damages. In this paper, we propose a method, which can restore the deleted log file and analyze the image of a hard disk, to be able to expose the location of a intruder.

Clickstream is the information which demonstrate users' path through web sites. Analysis of clickstream shows how web sites are navigated and used by users. Clickstream of online web sites contains effective information of web marketing and to offers usefully personalized services to users, and helps us understand how users find web sites, what products they see, and what products they purchase. In this paper, we present an extended web log system that add to module of collection of clickstream to understand users' behavior patterns In web sites. This system offers the users clickstream information to database which can then analyze it with ease. Using ADO technology in store of database constructs extended web log server system. The process of making clickstreaming into database can facilitate analysis of various user patterns and generates aggregate profiles to offer personalized web service. In particular, our results indicate that by using the users' clickstream. We can achieve effective personalization of web sites.

There are lots of medicine information on the internet recently. But there is no specific research result about search patterns or acquisition methods of medicine information on web pages for lay people until now. In this paper, 1 analyzed the web log files of a certain company providing medicine information using the WiseLog tool. I analyzed three kinds of statistic result of the web log files such as the status of web page usage by types of users, the status of web page menu usage, and the status of search menu usage. As results, I proposed methods of supplement and improvement for companies providing medicine information on the internet.

The amount of web traffic has increased as a result of the rapid growth of the use of web-based applications. In order to obtain valuable information from web logs, we need to develop systems that can support interactive, flexible, and efficient ways to analyze and handle large amounts of data. In this paper, we present CERES, a log-based, interactive web analytics system for backbone networks. Since CERES focuses on analyzing web log records generated from backbone networks, it is possible to perform a web analysis from the perspective of a network. CERES is designed for deployment in a server cluster using the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) as the underlying storage. We transform and store web log records from backbone networks into relations and then allow users to use a SQL-like language to analyze web log records in a flexible and interactive manner. In particular, we use the data cube technique to enable the efficient statistical analysis of web log. The system provides users a web-based, multi-modal user interface.

웹 로그는 웹 서버를 통해 이루어지는 작업들에 관한 기록으로써, OLAP이나 데이터 마이닝과 같은 비즈니스 인텔리전스 기술로 분석되어 고부가가치 창출에 사용되는 중요한 자료이다. 웹 로그에는 파일 이름과 같은 물리적인 데이터가 저장되는데 이러한 데이터는 분석에 사용되기 전에 정제과정을 통해 의미 있는 데이터로 변환되거나 불필요한 경우에는 삭제된다. 웹 로그 데이터의 분량을 적정선으로 유지하면서 데이터 정제 작업의 일부가 해결되도록 하는 방법으로 웹로그 생성단계에서 시스템이 제공하는 필터를 쓸 수 있다. 그러나, 필터로는 웹 페이지의 내용이 동적으로 변경되는 경우 그 상황을 즉시 반영하기가 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 웹 로그가 ‘지능적 웹 로거’를 통해 생성되도록 하여 이러한 문제를 해결하였다. ‘지능적 웹 로거’를 통해 불필요한 데이터의 생성을 막고, 물리적인 데이터를 신속하게 의미 있는 데이터로 변환하도록 하였다. 웹 페이지의 변경 내용을 웹 로그 생성에 즉시 반영하여 의미 있는 데이터 생성에 이용함으로써, 웹 로그 생성 후에 실행되던 데이터 정제작업 자체를 단순화시켰고, 웹사이트 관리자가 편리한 사용자 인터페이스로 로그 규칙을 만들어 적용할 수 있도록 하였다.

인터넷의 급속한 성장으로 인하여 메일을 이용하는 사용자가 급격히 증가하고있다. 따라서 메일 서버를 운영하는 관리자는 메일 분석에 대한 전문적인 로그 분석 도구들을 점차 요구하게 되었다. 현재 시중에 샌드메일 로그 분석에 관한 여러 구현된 상용 제품들이 있으나 단순한 통계 정보만을 제공하거나 특정 제품에만 맞도록 구현되었다. 이 논문에서는 시스템 로그 파일만을 분석하여 메일에 대한 상세한 통계 정보를 제공하는 웹 기반의 메일 분석 도구의 전체 설계 구조 및 구현 결과에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

If an error occurs during operation of the video wall controller, the control system creates a log file and records the log. In order to minimize the load on the system due to log recording, the log level is set so that the log is not recorded as much as possible under normal operating conditions. When an error occurs, detailed logs are recorded by changing the log level to analyze and respond to the cause of the error. So work efficiency is reduced, and operator intervention is inevitable to change the log level. In this paper, we propose a model that automatically sets the log level according to the operating situation using Contextual Bandit.

슈퍼컴퓨터와 같은 대규모 클러스터는 계산노드, 파일시스템, 인터컨넥트 네트워크 등과 같은 다양한 요소로 구성된다. 연구자들은 자신의 작업을 계산노드들을 이용하여 병렬화된 계산 작업을 수행한다. 수천 노드로 구성된 슈퍼컴퓨터에서 연구자들의 계산 작업이 효율적으로 수행되는 지를 파악하는 것은 시스템 관리자들에게 어려운 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 슈퍼컴퓨터어세 생성되는 다양한 로그를 통합 저장하고 이를 기반으로 슈퍼컴퓨터의 활용 효율을 제고하기 위한 통합 로그 저장소를 설계하고, 향후 구현될 슈퍼컴퓨터 상태 분석 시스템으서 활용할 수 있는 몇 가지 시나리오를 통해서 본 논문에서 제안하는 통합 로그 저장소의 효용성을 설명한다.

웹 로그에는 개별 사용자를 식별할 수 있는 사용자 정보와 세션 정보가 포함되어 사용자 식별과 해당 URL은 알 수 있지만, 그 URL에 해당하는 페이지내에 어느 객체에 관심이 있어 클릭하는지 알 수 없고, 페이지내에서 외부 사이트로의 링크 부분을 클릭했을 시 로그 파일에 기록이 되지 않는다. 본 연구에서는 세션과 사용자 중심의 로그 기록 방식에 객체를 추가함으로써 복잡하고 다양해지는 객체 요소(동영상, 오디오, 플래시 등)가 포함된 웹사이트에서는 객체 중심의 로그 기록 방식이 고객의 행동 패턴을 분석하여 세분화된 개인화 서비스에 보다 효율적임을 관찰하였다.
