This paper aims at analyzing the characteristics of the immigration path, residential location, and housing ownership structure of Korean immigrants in London metropolitan area. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, factors influencing the initial residential location of Korean immigrants are situation of immigrants, immigration region, and help of prior Korean immigrants. Secondly, factors influencing the current residential location of Korean immigrants are income, ability of English, education at United Kingdom, and initial residential location. Thirdly, viewing the characteristics of the of housing ownership structure, migrants tend to reside their own housings while migration period go beyond 10 years and incomes exceed ${\pounds}$50,000. Forth, immigration path types of London Korean Immigrants are divided by ethnic enclave oriented type and mainstream society oriented type.

In 2007, London Thames Gateway delivery plan was started, and it was in progress to solve climate change, population density, housing problems, green space, regional imbalances, and transportation issues from east London and Kent to Essex. The plan was carried out faithfully local autonomy enlargement of local governments. This case is evaluated as a successful case of waterfront regeneration with well balanced on development and conservation. This study concludes as follows by comparing with this case and a new Han River management foundation plan. First, Seoul's new plan needs to change to diffuse thinking on comprehensively understanding. Second, local and central government, which are adjacent to Han River, need management scheme in cooperation. Third, the countermeasures for solving traffic problems in Seoul are required through the provision of transportation method to take advantage of the waterfront.

This paper aims at analyzing the role of Korean ethnic network in the settlement process of Korean immigrants, and elucidating their activation strategies. through the case study of Korean Immigrants in London metropolitan area. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the majority of respondents use Korean ethnic networks in the initial immigration process. Secondly, respondents more frequently use Korean ethnic network in the activities such as church, shopping and education. Thirdly, considering the cognition of respondents about the necessity of Korean ethnic networks, respondents prefer supports of Koran government as activation strategies of Korean ethnic network. Finally, a model of activation strategies of Korean ethnic networks is proposed, which is a differentiated and integrated model according to the maturity stage.

The purpose of this study was to identify differences or similarities across the ensembles of 2006 F/W fashion trends in the big fashion centers such as Paris, London, New York, and Seoul, by street fashion research. The study focuses on understanding of localized fashion trend in the marketplace. We used photograph observation and analyzed data by SPSS program. We found there is a significant difference in winter outfits at these different global fashion mega cities. Most Korean women were wearing light colored outer jackets and blue jeans were dominant style for pants. The majority of Paris/London, New York and Seoul people on the street were wearing wool/wool like coat. Padded coats were worn more by New Yorkers than by people in Seoul. For the bottom, there is a similarity between Paris/London, and New York City, in that skinny pants were popular. Koreans were wearing skinny pants mostly, but the percentage of mini skirts/shorts was also higher than any other cities. We found that the cross-cultural fashion mega trend is similar in clusters, but there is a slight difference of trend in clothing color, style and design details, and accessories by localized fashion cities. Not only direct observation but also identification of cultural characteristics and consumer behavior through the years will bring much more contributions to apparel industries.
