On the Approximate Solution of Aircraft Landing Gear under Nonstationary Random Excitations (비정상 랜덤 가진력을 받는 항공기 착륙장치의 응답해석 기법연구)

  • The motion of an aircraft landing gear over rough runway at variable speed is nonstationary. hi this paper, a method for the computation of nonstationary response variance is presented which uses a state space form for the combination of landing gear and runway excitation. The dynamic characteristics of the landing gear under nonstationazy random excitations has also been analyzed using the proposed method. The formulation is for linear systems of arbitrary order and allows any deterministic velocity history.

  • 본 논문에서는 JPEG Pleno에서 제공하는 디지털 홀로그램 표준화 데이터를 압축하는 방법을 제시한다. 디지털 홀로그램의 수치 복원에서 시각화를 위한 랜덤 위상의 추가는 간섭현상으로 인한 스페클 노이즈와 더블어 홀로그램의 압축 효율을 떨어트린다. 홀로그램은 완전 복소의 부동소수점 형태의 데이터로 구성되며 초고해상도와 스페클 노이즈로 인해 홀로그램 특성에 맞춘 압축기술 개발이 필수적이다. 먼저, 다양한 웨이블릿 필터를 이용하여 홀로그램 데이터에 대한 주파수 특성 분석을 진행하여 필터 종류에 따른 에너지 집중도를 분석한다.

Comparison of data mining methods with daily lens data (데일리 렌즈 데이터를 사용한 데이터마이닝 기법 비교)

  • To solve the classification problems, various data mining techniques have been applied to database marketing, credit scoring and market forecasting. In this paper, we compare various techniques such as bagging, boosting, LASSO, random forest and support vector machine with the daily lens transaction data. The classical techniques-decision tree, logistic regression-are used too. The experiment shows that the random forest has a little smaller misclassification rate and standard error than those of other methods. The performance of the SVM is good in the sense of misclassfication rate and bad in the sense of standard error. Taking the model interpretation and computing time into consideration, we conclude that the LASSO gives the best result.

  • The construction industry causes the most accidents and fatalities among all industries. Although many efforts have been made to reduce safety accidents in construction, the study on the lost workdays that return to work place is insufficient. Therefore, this study proposes a model that classifies the lost workdays lost into moderate and severity, and derives the importance of variable and analyzes important factors through the trained random forest model. We analyze the learning process of the random forest which is a black box model, and extracted important variables that impact on the severity of the lost workdays through the extracted feature importance. The factors existing inside were analyzed through the extracted variables. The purpose of this study is to analyze the accident case data at the construction site through a random forest model and to review variables that have a high impact on the lost workdays. In the future, this sutdy can apply to improve construction safety management and reduce the accident of industrial accidents.

  • The safety of concrete nuclear containment structures should be secured against all kinds of loading due to various natural disasters or extraordinary accidental loads. The current design criteria of concrete containment structures are not based on the reliabillty-based design concept but rely on the conventional design concept. In this paper, a probabillty-based reliability analysis were proposed based on a FEM-based random vibration analysis and serviceability limit state of structures. The limit state model defined for the study is a serviceability limit state in terms of the more realistic crack failure that might cause the emission of radioactive materials, and the results are compared with those of the strength limit state. More accurate reliability analyses under various dynamic loads such as earthquake loads were made possible by incorporation the FEM and random vibration theory, which is different from the conventional reliability analysis method. The uncertainties in loads and resistance available in Korea and the refernces were adapted to the situation of Korea, and especially in the case of earthquake, the design earthquake was assessed based on the available re ports on probabilistic description of earthquake ground acceleration in the Korea peninsula.

Polarimetric Analysis of the Electromagnetic Waves Scattered from Random Surfaces-Full Wave Solutions (랜덤 표면으로부터 산란되는 전자파의 편파적 해석)

  • In this work, the electromagnetic waves scattered from 2-dimensional random rough surfaces are characterized by the $4\times4$ Mueller matrix elements. The full wave solutions are used to compute these elements. The results of the full wave solutions for 1-dimensional random rough surfaces were shown to agree well with those of the experiment and the method of moments. The Mueller matrix elements are related to the like and cross polarized radar cross sections as well as to the relative phase of the vertically and horizontally polarized waves. The $4\times4$ Mueller matrix elements completely characterize electromagnetic scattering from target. The computed results of this paper can be useful to the field of active remote sensing or RCS.

Dynamic Analysis of Guyed Tower Subjected to Random Waves (랜덤파랑하중에 대한 Guyed Tower의 동적 거동해석)

  • Methods of nonlinear stochastic analysis of guyed towers are studied in this paper. Two different kinds of nonlinearities are considered. They are the nonlinear restoring force from the guying system and the nonlinear hydrodynamic force. Analyses are carried out mainly in the frequency domain using linearization techniques. Two methods for the linearization of the nonlinear stiffness are presented, in which the effects of the steady offset and the oscillating component of the structural motion can be adequately analyzed. those two methods are the equivalent linearization method and the average stiffness method. The linearization of the nonlinear drag force is also carried out considering the effect of steady current as well as oscillatory wave motions. Example analyses are performed for guyed tower in 300m water. Transfer functions and the expected maximum values of the deck displacement and the bending moment near the middle of the tower are calculated. Numerical results show that both of the frequency domain methods presented in this paper predict the responses of the sturcture very reasonably compared with those by the time integration method utilzing the random simulations wave particla motions.

  • 본 논문에서는 Monte-Carlo simulation과 deterministic simulation을 합성한 방법으로 특성허용 패턴을 만족하는 개별소자의 오차범위를 가중치에 따라 차별적으로 규정을 하였다. 일반적으로 사용되는 통계적인 방법은 불규칙한 특성을 갖는 랜덤오차를 정규분포를 갖는 랜덤변수로 모델링을 하여 허용 패턴으로부터 오차의 범위를 규정하는데, 이렇게 구해진 범위는 개별소자의 가중치의 영향을 고려하지 않고 일률적인 특성을 나타낸다는 단점이 있다. 이에 반해 deterministic simulation을 통해서 얻어진 오차의 범위는 가중치에 따라서 상대적인 범위를 결정할 수 있지만 해석 하고자하는 배열소자의 개수에 따라서 계산량이 지수승으로 증가하는 단점이 있어 10개 이상의 소자를 갖는 배열에는 적합하지 않다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해서는 본 논문에서는 Monte-Carlo simulation과 deterministic simulation의 합성적 방법을 사용해서 배열소자의 증가에 따른 계산량의 증가를 줄이면서 각 가충치에 따라 상대적인 개별오차의 허용범위를 결정하였다. 그리고 이렇게 규정된 오차의 범위를 간단한 모의 실험을 통해서 검증하였다.

  • In this study, analysis of dynamic characteristics and flight vibration was performed to unmanned aerial vehicles. The analysis model was supplemented by performing a dynamic characteristic test and a random vibration test using manufactured dummy aerial vehicle. For the dynamic characteristic test, a bungee cable was used to implement the free end boundary condition. Prior to the flight vibration test using a multiple electric shaker, a random vibration test was performed to predict the excitation force during the actual flight vibration test. It was judged that the actual test could be predicted more accurately by supplementing the analysis model from the test results. In addition, it was possible to determine the feasibility of the test by predicting the excitation force of the flight vibration test.

Measurement of natural frequency of aluminum honeycomb sandwich beams using high speed digital cameras (고속 디지털 카메라를 이용한 알루미늄 하니콤 샌드위치 보의 고유 진동수 계측)

  • In this study, we measured the natural frequencies of aluminum honeycomb sandwich beams using digital image correlation technique. The vibration images were captured using two high speed digital cameras and the images were converted to displacements by the digital image correlation technique. Displacement data in time domain were tranformed to frequency domain data by fast Fourier transform software. To reduce noise invoked by random exitation, a spectrum averaging technique and Savitsky-Golay digital filter were adopted. A conventional vibration measurement using an accelerometer and a finite element analysis were performed to compare the results by high speed digital camera measurement method. In conclusion, new method using high speed digital cameras and digital image correlation technique can measure the vibration of beam structures and can be applied to bio-structures where sensors cannot be attached.
