In this paper, we analyzed the envelope correlation of wideband signals modulated on two separate subcarriers in a Nakagami-Rice fading channel with exponential power delay profile. The results show that the envelope correlation of resolvable paths is implicated by the ratio of the specular wave power to the mean multipath power as well as the signal bandwidth and the rms delay spread of the multipath waves.

본 논문은 뇌의 축방향(axial sect ion)에 대하여 촬영한 뇌의 자기공명 영상(Magnetic Resonance Imaging)을 대상으로 뇌의 영역만을 분리하기 위한 방법을 제안하고 있다. MR영상은 슬라이스마다 다른 분포값을 가지기 때문에 각 슬라이스 별로 조직의 특성을 파악하여 뇌의 영역을 분리하였다. 히스토그램의 명암값 분포를 분석하여 배경과 뇌를 둘러싸고 있는 외피를 제거하고 라벨링(label1ing) 알고리즘을 적용하여 뇌만 분리 할 수 있도록 하는 마스크 영상을 만들어 이것을 이용하여 원영상으로부터 뇌의 영역만을 분리하였다.

네트워크 슬라이싱 기술은 5G 네트워크에서의 필수 기술 중 하나이다. 네트워크 망에서는 네트워크 슬라이싱을 통해 서로 다른 요구사항이 존재하는 다수의 서비스를 유연하게 처리 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 전망되는 5G 네트워크 구조와 기반 기술에 대해 소개하고, 네트워크 슬라이싱 적용하기 위한 이슈를 정리한다. 끝으로 네트워크 슬라이스 선택 기능 설계 시 고려사항을 제안한다.

The inhibitory effects of cereal extracts and concentrates from barley, waxy rice flours and malt on enzymatic browning were measured using apple polyphenol oxidase (PPO). Malt concentrate showed the largest inhibitory effect on PPO among all. The relationship between the properties of malt concentrate such as browning intensity and reducing power and their inhibitory effect on PPO was also studied. As the heating time increased, the browning intensity and the reducing power of malt concentrates were increased, while PPO activities were decreased. Inhibitory effect of malt concentrates on PPO increased with heating time and their concentration. L-value and compression force of the apple slices dipped in malt concentrate decreased by 6.9% and 14.3%, respectively, showing the smallest changes compared with raw and water-dipped apple slices during cold storage for 9 days. These results suggest that malt concentrate can be a potential source for the control of enzymatic browning.

Binary volume data has its widespread use in the application of color volume rendering and surgical simulation system where gray-scale volume is inappropriate. For the efficient representation of binary volume, this paper proposes a new data structure - the Slice-based Binary Shell (SBS) - along with its rendering algorithm. Since SBS stores the minimal set of surface voxels in slice order and supports the direct computation of voxel coordinates, it shows high efficiency for rendering multiple objects. The rendering algorithm of SBS running on a PC with no specialized hardware renders more than one hundred binary objects in a second.
