Group music therapy was conducted two times a week for seven-week period. It took 35-40 minutes per therapy after school. Child Behavior Checklist-Korean, Social Skills Rating System, Social Acceptance were administered in pre- and post-stages. For the analysis of the data, Mann-Whitney U test was used. The findings from the research are summarized as follows: 1) The experimental group who was treated in music therapy showed a positive effect on problem behaviors. That is to say, the participants in the experimental group improved in emotional and cognitive stability while they significantly decreased attack behaviors; 2) The experimental group statistically showed significant improvement in their social behaviors compared to the control group. The music therapy group significantly increased social skills such as cooperation, self-assertion, and self-control. However, they did not improve responsibility as social skills in a significant manner; and 3) The experimental group showed higher degree of social acceptance than the control group. However, the result did not show a significant difference between the groups. • The purpose of this study is to plan and develop contents for training social skills using robots for elementary school students. Seven functions (guiding activity, providing reinforcement, guiding students behavior, team setting, presenting team order, timer setting, and checking scores) were developed by analyzing functions that robots can take charge of in the training contents. A total of 8 sessions of social skills training contents were developed by selecting social skills required for academic achievement and social interaction of elementary school students. The lesson consisted of providing positive and negative examples, modeling, role-playing, providing feedback on performance, and encouraging generalization stages using effective strategies for acquiring social skills. After developing social skills training contents using robots for elementary school students, so-called Friendly Friends (FF), a satisfaction survey was conducted on the field application of contents and participating students and teachers to examine the acceptance pattern. As a result, it was found that the participating students and teachers were satisfied with the contents. Finally, the meaning and the expected effects of the 'FF (Friendly Friends)' contents were discussed, and also, the matters to be considered when developing social skills training contents using robots in the future were suggested.

  • This paper aims to develop the art programs supporting prosocial behaviors of young children from multicultural and typical Korean families. On the basis of the survey results and literature review, art activities were planned. And the program was executed amongst young children from multicultural and typical Korean families to test the applicability of the program. The young children in the program showed either positive attitudes or conflicts with their peer group at the beginning. As the program continued, young children were gradually harmonized, yielding to each other and were negotiating. During the last stage of the program, young children from multicultural and typical Korean families demonstrated prosocial behaviors of sharing, helping, and cooperating with each other. These kinds of results prove that the art programs are helpful in promoting prosocial behavior among young children from multicultural and typical Korean families. Therefore, it appears that an educational institute in which young children from multicultural families are taught would be able to support prosocial behavior for young children from multicultural and typical Korean families using this program.

  • The purposes of this study are to examine the predictability of variables related to SNS intention to use in collaborative learning and provide some new implications. Based on Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model (TRAM), we hypothesized that optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, insecurity as personal disposition variables, subjective norm as a social variable, and perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as cognitive variables would predict SNS intention to use. For this study, 274 'Share Leadership' students in E university completed surveys and it was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed as follows. First, optimism, innovativeness, discomfort, and subjective norm predicted perceived ease of use. Second, optimism, insecurity, subjective norm and perceived ease of use predicted perceived usefulness. Third, subjective norm, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness predicted SNS intention to use. From this, it is revealed that positive technology readiness predict much more than negative technology readiness do and the role of teacher and peers is very important.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the Internet vulnerability index of adolescents. To do this, we used the original data of long - term follow - up survey for the internet overdependency cause analysis conducted by NIA in 2018, and analyzed the correlation between alternatives of internet vulnerability index and personal psychology by using linear regression analysis. Factor analysis showed that the relationship with the surroundings was indexed by adding 9 items to positive factors such as family acceptance, peer attachment, and teacher favorability. The relationship between the surroundings and self - stigmatization is confirmed, and the relationship between the surroundings and the Internet fragility is predicted to be negatively related, and the digital capacity is also assumed to be negatively correlated with the Internet vulnerability. In order to develop the specific form of the Internet vulnerability index, personal psychology and linear regression analysis were conducted. As a result, positive factors and R value of personal psychology were increased when considering the relationship with the environment and the digital capacity rather than the Internet overdependency model. Based on these implications, we discussed the implications and limitations of this study.

  • Objectives:BPI was developed for assessing young children's perceptions. Using an interactive techniques for interviewing children, the BPI blends structured and clinical interviewing technique. Present study was to evaluate the reliability, validity and the clinical utility of Berkeley Puppet Interview(BPI) for young children aged 4 to 7. Methods:Subjects consisted of 37 children(boy20, girl 17) between the age of 4 and 7 who visited the child-psychiatry outpatient division of children's hospital in Seoul and Chungju. The measures used in this study BPI-S(symptomatology) and BPI-PC(parent-child relationship). BPI was translated into Korean by three clinical psychologists. To examine the reliability, Chonbach's alpha were calculated and to examine the validity, correlation coefficients were calculated on BPI-S & K-CBCL. Results:BPI-PC's Cronbach's alpha was 0.86 and BPI-S's Cronbach's alpha was 0.74. Correlation between the internalizing scale of BPI-S and that of K-CBCL was 0.477 and correlation between the internalizing scale of BPI-S and the externalizing scale of K-CBCL was -0.431, suggesting the validity of BPI-S. Conclusion:These results show that BPI-S & BPI-PC may be useful tool for young children's diagnostic interview.

The findings of the study were as follows: First, the child care and education teachers screened children with language developmental delay in their classes based on their verbal characteristics and maladjusted behavior. Their screenings were turned out correct. Second, as for the response of parents, the parents who had children with language developmental delay were indifferent, were aware of the fact in advance or asked the teachers for counseling on their children's language developmental delay. Third, the teachers couldn't provide the appropriate supports for the children in needs.
