By employing in-depth interviews with a total of 14 television producers, the study seeks to investigate how the use of documentary background music has changed in the rapidly evolving media technology. This study reveals two major findings. First, the use of traditional compositional background music in TV documentary has been decreased for the last 20 years, while library music with various sound sources has been more likely to be used due to its artistic value, its digitalized formats, and its convenience. Second, the popularity of the library music use has changed the cooperative relationship between TV documentary producers and music directors, and their views on background music. Overall, compared to the past, the new media technology (e.g., much easier, faster editing process and communication through e-mails) has helped to come up with the current trend of using more library music. This trend however implies that the dependency of library music only may lose the unique value of television documentary as a work of creative art and eventually downgrade the quality of the programs. Further practical implications are discussed.

Smart phone environment have an effect on consumer life style, as well as advances in technology. In this paradigm shift on digital convergence make change to commodities, services, and distribution channels for consumers. HomePlus wholesale that is representative distribution company in Korea launched the new distribution channel model that combined off-line store with online store and mobile shopping system called 'smart mobile virtual store'. That is highly praised by abroad media and festivals. This study is an exploratory study on consumer-centric smart mobile virtual store of HomePlus. There are value and chance for developing the new digital distribution model, in this study, because the case study and evaluation of consumers is important in this momentous time.

디지털 정보의 활용이 보편화된 최근의 사회는 수사와 재판과정에도 많은 변화를 주었다. 사람들의 행위에 따르는 법적인 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 디지털 방식의 자료들을 이용할 수 밖에 없으며, 특히나 산업보안 수사에서 디지털 자료는 필수 불가결하다. 대부분의 기술유출사건이 이동식 저장매체 또는 네트워크와 같은 디지털 자료를 이용하여 발생하기 때문이다. 이렇듯 디지털 증거의 중요성이 날로 증가하고 있는 상황에서 증거로서의 능력을 인정받기 위해서는 과학적이고 객관적인 절차를 필요로 한다. 하지만 기하급수적으로 늘고있는 디지털 증거에 대한 기술력과 분석력에 비해 디지털 포렌식 관련 법과 제도의 확립은 아직 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구를 통해 디지털 포렌식 관련 연구동향을 파악하고 연구 활성화를 위한 객관적인 데이터를 제공하고자 한다.

디지털 기술을 중심으로 한 급속한 기술혁신과 정보통신 시장의 대내 \ulcorner외적 개방으로 방송과 통신 등 미디어간의 융합화가 가속되고 미국, 영국, 일본 등 선진국들이 지상파 디지털TV 방송실시 계획을 발표 함으로서 방송의 디지털화는 기정 사실화 되었다. 또한 각국은 방송시장의 개방에 대응하여 방송산업의 경쟁력강화 및 이를 통한 문화적 정체성 확보에 고심하고 있다. 이러한 방송환경의 급속한 변화에 대응하여 21세기 멀티미디어/정보화 시대에 국내 방송산업의 활성화 및 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해서 국내 지상파 디지털TV 방송의 전환계획은 매우 중요하며 상당한 의미를 갖는다. 따라서 국내 지상파 방송의 디지털 전환계획을 수립하기 위해 기본적인 전환 일정, 디지털TV 방송 및 동시방송과 관련된 세부 전환 일정, 유료방송 관련 사항, 주파수 활용 계획, 전환비용, 산업체의 기술확보 계획, 디지털방송 관련 법/제도 등 주요 사항들을 여러 분야에서 연구하여 향후 추진방향을 제시하고자 각 관련기관들이 노력하고 있다. 본 고에서는 국내 지상파 방송의 디지털 전환과 관련된 주요 사항들에 대한 기본 배경 및 환경들을 중심으로 서술하고, 이를 기초로 관련 기관들로부터 의견을 수집하고, 외국의 사례를 참조하여 수행된 주요 사항들을 간략히 정리하였다.

It begins by describing the shift of paradigm and the concept of digital libraries. The paper continues by summarizing the principles and technology of building digital libraries. It also includes current projects of US, UK, Japan, and National Central Library, KAIST, LG Sangnam Library in Korea.

본 논문은 눈의 무게에 따른 압력센서의 전압변화를 이용하여 모터 구동 제어 및 제설이 가능한 방법을 제안하였다. 자동 제설 장치는 눈의 무게에 따른 압력 센서의 전압변화를 MCU의 내부 ADC를 이용하여 센서의 아날로그 값을 디지털 값으로 변환 한다. 변환한 디지털 값을 이용하여 MCU에서 무게를 판단하고, 그에 따라 모터의 구동을 제어 하게 된다. MCU의 무게 판단은 압력 센서에 가해지는 무게에 따라 변하는 압력센서의 가변저항 특성을 이용하게 되며, 직렬 저항 회로를 구성하여 압력센서의 전압 변화의 값을 ADC의 입력으로 주게 된다. 입력된 아날로그 값을 ADC로 디지털 값으로 변환하게 된다. 변환된 디지털 값을 MCU에서 판단하게 되며, 판단의 결과로 모터의 구동을 제어하게 된다. 즉, 이러한 시스템을 통하여 비닐하우스의 지붕의 눈을 실시간으로 자동 제설하게 된다.

This article reviews the current infrastructure of multi-media network which has significant implications to digital library development and the networked information service. Network information service which is based on the digital technology has become quite popular in recent post-Web environment. But it is not easy and simple to develope digital library system with the rapid media innovation and digital network technology The existed multimedia network infrastructure need to be observed precisely and discussed critically in the context of economy and policy development for digital library service.

Due to the advent of knowledge-based society and digital environment, libraries especially national libraries are undergoing a transformation and the new concepts, processes and tools for collection development as the heart of libraries are evolving. The purpose of this paper is to propose the direction of hybrid resources development for ensuring sustainable collection and preservation of resources in national libraries. Accordingly, this paper looks about a transformation of national libraries and collection development, and investigates the coverage of national collections based positioning of national libraries through performance indicators in standard, definitions, purposes and missions. It also proposes legal deposit methods of digital resources through the law related library and investigates archiving method of online digital resources including hybrid collection development system in national libraries.

디지털 매체의 사용자들의 사용 모형이 변화하고 있다. RSS, 태그(tag), Ajax, Open API 등 사용자 참여를 향상시키는 Web 2.0 기술을 포함하여 정보 기기 및 인터페이스의 발전은 사용자들의 매체사용에 대한 범위와 역할을 크게 향상시키고 있다. 이제 사용자는 더 이상 정보수용자의 입장이 아닌 정보제공자의 입장에서 매체에 접근하고 있다. 이와 같은 현상은 우리에게 두 가지 중요한 연구문제를 제시한다, 첫째, 사용자들은 기술변화를 어떻게 인지하고 있으며, 어떤 학습의 과정을 거치고 있는가? 혹은 어떤 어려움을 겪고 있는가? 둘째, 변화하는 기술에 따른 사용자들의 요구변화의 양상은 디지털매체를 통한 정보제공을 통하여 수익을 발생시키는 기업의 사용자와의 상호작용을 어떻게 변화하게 하고 있는가? 이와 같은 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 창조적 사용자의 인지적 모형을 점검하고, 차세대 기술변화에 따른 사회적 컴퓨팅의 진화를 근거이론을 통하여 분석해 보고자 한다.

교육의 패러다임이 디지털 융 복합 환경의 지속적 발전과 정보기술을 활용한 창의적 학습사회로의 가속화, 사회 경제적 변화로 인한 새로운 사회적 수요가 발생하고 있는 사회적 변화와 함께 급변하게 변화되고 있다. 또한 이러한 시대에 태어난 아이들은 태어날 때부터 디지털 네이티브들이다. 이러한 학습자의 변화에 맞추어 교육도 변화되어야한다. 이러한 변화에 부응하여 최근 교육과학기술부에서는 스마트교육 추진전략을 발표했으며 또한 융합인재 양성의 중요성을 인식하고 STEAM 교육을 도입하기 시작하였다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 시대의 흐름에 맞추어 스마트 교육을 기반으로 융합형 인재를 양성할 수 있는 STEAM 교육모형을 개발하고자 한다. 이는 미래 사회를 준비하는 장으로서의 학교 교육의 정상화를 꾀하게 할 수 있으며, 21세기 지식강국 실현을 위해 우리나라의 교육경쟁력을 확보하는 대안이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
