KOLAO Holdings' Entry Strategy to Southeast Asian Automotive Market through Combined Activities of Exploration and Exploitation (탐험 및 활용의 복합적 활동을 통한 코라오홀딩스의 동남아시아 자동차시장 진출전략)

  • Kolao Holdings has a dominant market share in Lao Automotive market, wherever Japanese automotive makers have the biggest market share in other Southeast Asian countries. The company that was founded by a Korean in Laos has firstly listed on the Korean Stock Market among companies which Koreans founded abroad. Applying the model of Exploration and Exploitation by March(1991), this study is aiming at finding out what the management strategy leaded to Kolao's success in Laos. In addition, this study figured out the company's process innovation and cultural innovation. In result, it is summarized that the exploitation activities contributed to the entry to Lao market, the exploration activities to expanding market to neighboring countries, the process innovation to creation profits, and cultural innovation to sustainable growth.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze and present of action learning process in education programs for senior officials, engineers, chief executive officers. The main contents of this study is focused on analysis of orientation activities for each step of action learning process, project selection, analysis of problem clarification, review of data research and analysis, analysis of process for seeking of alternative and selecting execution item, comparison and analysis for the results of execution.

  • e-revolution makes a lot of changes in the methodology all over the world. That is, the theory of real time showing helps people to access audio and visual wherever and whenever they are. In the pst computers were considered as only tools which could make us work easily. However, the meaning of computer is changing with e-revolution nowadays. Computers are not just computers as they were; they have done a lot of things which we thought impossible and they will do in the future as well. This new wave encourages people who are teaching the design to use computers whatever they do. For example, instead of using pencil and a drafting board, most people in the design field work with monitors, mouse and plotter. Therefore, most people who are in the design field need to have the ability of computer skills. They have to use computers not only in their class but also in their office. However, if we use computers for visual presenting in the class, it will not be enough to catch the e-revolution. That is, we should work with computers in the creative and conceptual design such as the using of the design information and the applying digital techniques in the early stage of the work. The purpose of this study is to show how to work with computers in the spacial design process especially th using of the DIS(Design Information System) and the applying digital techniques in the early stage of the work.

  • This study is redesigned library acquisition process to migrate library offline process to online applying the concepts of BPR(Business Process Reengineering), Business Process and Workflows in electronic commerce, and UML that is a one of visual modeling methods was applied to new model form software development. The new model can be processed library’s acquisition process efficiently and rapidly. And library and information center would migrate their back office work from offline to online using this model, so that new roles for librarian in the digital age will be created. The directions of digital library research should be accepted various application technologies like electronic commerce to get synergy effect in the near future.

  • As demands for health and wellbeing in the ageing society have grown, complex problems involving diverse stakeholders arise in the healthcare environment. The objective of this study is to identify roles and abilities of designers in a healthcare setting where professionals from different disciplines collaborate to achieve a common goal. Case studies on healthcare design projects adapting interdisciplinary approach were explored to find which methods and processes were implemented effectively. Results are based on three research questions that lead to analyzing multifaceted roles of designers regarding process facilitation, manage relations, visualization, and imagination.

  • DRM은 디지털콘텐츠의 지적재산권이 디지털 방식에 의해서 안전하게 보호. 유지되도록 하여 디지털콘텐츠의 창작에서부터 소비에까지 이르는 모든 유통 시점에서 거래규칙과 사용규칙이 지속적이고 적법하게 성취되도록 하는 기술이다. DRM은 디지털 형태로 유통되는 문서, 음악, 비디오, 게임, 소프트웨어, 이미지 등의 각종 디지털 콘텐츠를 불법 복제로부터 안전하게 보호하고, 콘텐츠 서비스의 유료화를 가능케 하는 기술 및 서비스를 말한다. 또한, 콘텐츠 자체와 보안과 저작권 보호뿐만 아니라 콘텐츠의 생성${\cdot}$유통${\cdot}$사용${\cdot}$관리에 필요한 모든 프로세스를 제어할 수 있게 해준다. 본 논문에서 구현된 기술은 암호알고리즘을 사용하여 함수의 위치 및 내용에 쉽게 접근할 수 없고 소프트웨어의 불법적인 분석 시도를 어렵게 하였다.

  • XML (eXtensible Markup Language) 암호화는 XML 문서 내용을 작성한 사용자에게만 구별 가능하고, 그 외의 사람들에게는 알아보기 힘들게 XML 문서를 변경하는 방법을 의미한다. W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)의 XML 암호화 표준화 그룹은 XML 문서와 그 일부분을 포함한 디지털 콘텐츠를 암호화 및 복호화는 프로세스를 개발하고, 의도된 사용자만이 복호화할 수 있는 정보와 암호화된 내용을 표시하기 위한 XML 구문을 만드는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 XML 암호화에 대한 소개와 W3C\`s XML 암호화 표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

  • 최근 국내외에서 활발히 추진되고 있는 전자상거래는 비즈니스의 모든 프로세스를 전자화하고 디지털 통신망에 접속을 자동화하는 정보화 혁명으로써, 전자상거래의 보편화되면서 신용카드번호, 비밀번호 등 대금결제를 위한 중요한 개인 정보가 네트워크에 노출될 수밖에 없고 해커들의 공격 유형도 다양해 질 것으로 보인다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래의 체계의 특징, 지불 시스템, 인증 시스템의 종류, 개인정보 위협요소들의 분석을 통해 전자상거래 최적환경을 만들기 위한 전자상거래 보안 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • A new design field called eDesign appears as if eBiz is an online related business in which an industrialized design creates the individual value added facing a digital revolution. The field of eDesign requires a special design process and management methodology regardless of the fact that human sensitivity will be satisfied through a dehumanized computer technique. However, it is the reality of eDesign that has been dependent upon a simple process or project management tool of general design. In this study, we develop an eDesign platform based on an eDesign process and template mainly focused on eBusiness in order to overcome the wrong situation. The template is a kind of document that has a standardization form. We aim to establish a general process through various case projects, store information using a necessary template, and use for the way of visual communication. We propose a standard of eDesign platform that can be widely applied to the field of design, medium and small enterprises focused on IT businesses or design-team through this project performed as an educational-industrial study. It makes it possible to get a detailed process methodology, which can be applied to many small design related companies that don't have their own process yet, and will be a scale for comparing their own process in which the company has a process of opened standard eDesign with it. In addition, it makes possible a systematic control of the own projects within and outside the firm, accumulating information for the firm through the database, and easy communication. Furthermore, it can be applied to check the process of the project as a checklist, and then it will reduce trial and error repeated for every project that has been done.
