Beyond the digital world from the analog age, the contents are very easily copied under the illegal conditions and these are rapidly distributed by the information super highway. The increase of illegal usage and conflict in digital content market would diminish motivation of creators for their work, furthermore break down digital content market on cyberspace. Watermarking technology support to the legal users by the protection technique based on the digital content copyright protection method(DRM). Most of previous digital watermarking have embeded to the content. In this paper, we researched the standardization of digital rights management and developed more efficient watermark embedding method.

본 논문에서는 디지털 콘텐츠 거래 모니터링 시스템의 로그 저장 장치의 안정성을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. 디지털 콘텐츠 거래 모니터링 시스템은 디지털 콘텐츠의 거래 내용을 정확하게 파악하기 위해서 콘텐츠 거래 로그를 영속적으로 관리할 수 있어야 한다. 그러나 최근에 본 연구팀에 의해서 개발된 프로토타입 시스템에서는 대량의 트랜잭션이 실행될 경우에 저장 로그 데이터의 안정성이 훼손되는 경우가 발생할 수 있음이 보고되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 디지털 콘텐츠 거래 모니터링 시스템에 동시에 다수의 트랜잭션이 발생하여 검색엔진에 문제가 생기더라도 저장하고 있는 데이터의 안정성을 보장하면서 다수의 이용자들로부터 수집한 로그를 처리할 수 있도록 로그 저장시스템의 안정성 증진 방안을 제안한다.

지난달 19일 진대제 정보통신부 장관은 지능형 로봇을 비롯한 IT분야 10대 차세대 성장동력 연구사업을 관리할 프로젝트 매니저 8명을 위촉하고 위촉장을 전달했다.이날 디지털콘텐츠 및 SW솔루션 분야 PM으로 정식 위촉된 박세영박사(46)은 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI) 지식정보연구부장 출신의 기업가로 학문적 깊이와 연구 및 기획력, CEO경험 등을 두루 갖춘 전문가로 인정받고 있다. 특히 디지털콘텐츠 분야의 특성상 게임, 애니메이션, 모바일콘텐츠, e-러닝 등 다양한 분야에 대한 폭넓은 전문지식을 갖추고 있어야 한다는 점에서 적임자라는 것이 주위의 평가다. 디지털콘텐츠 분야 육성정책 방향의 키맨(Key-Man)으로 등장한 박세영 박사를 만나 이번 사업에 대한 견해와 향후 계획, 시장을 바라보는 시각 등에 대해 들어봤다.

The usage of DRM-applied digital contents reduces user's convenience, thus it leads the many users to avoid using DRM-applied digital contents. In this paper, therefore, we propose the new distribution model in which the users, who purchase the DRM-applied digital contents, can resale freely those contents to the other users. As a result, the proposed model induces the users to distribute contents soundly by including them in one of distribution objects. For the purpose of this, in this paper, we propose that a packaged content and usage rights are transferred to another user by using a method which based on some existing digital ticket or coupon. In addition, the security of the proposed system is discussed for the double transfer, the forgery and the modification of usage rights, and the reproduction of contents and usage rights.

With the rapid growth of the Internet, digital contents have increased in a geometric progression and the types also became much varied. In order to make it easier to identify and search digital contents on the Internet, which is basically a distributed network environment, it is essential to organize and manage metadata. In this study, we have comparatively analyzed the data elements of the meta data formats currently approached from different aspects in diverse fields, so as to provide basic materials for securing interoperability of the meta data formats. We selected Dublin Core, Semantic Header, MARC, IAFA Templates, and TEI Header as the general metadata formats of digital contents used widely in all areas, and we carried out comparisons and analyses based on the literature.

The web trend has been flowed from portal site to user created contents site, recently. Therefore, many companies have suggested web program of producing contents for user's convenience. However, web applications that are operated in various web browsers and heterogeneous devices have many problems regarding distribution and management so far. Because of diverse one-source data formats. In this paper, we present an integrative displaying and distributing tool (IDD-Tool) for editing, distributing and managing multimedia contents and environment so that users can work. It is inspected that the tool is widely used in the fields of education, publication, corporations and etc. because a user can participates in contents producing easily in personal customized workplace with IDD-Tool and contents made by IDD-Tool are distributed.

이번호에서는 지난호에 이어서 실무 운영방안의 두번째인 신규 콘텐츠 판매를 위한 마케팅 전략 방안의 구체적인 내용들에 대해 알아보자. 디지털콘텐츠 제품 전략도 결국에는 신제품 출시와 판매전략과 같은 프로세스를 거치게 된다. 즉, 기회를 파악하고, 고객의 니즈 조사를 통해 시장 세분화/포지셔닝 전략을 세우고, 마케팅 전략을 설계하는 단계를 거친다. 다음으로, 테스트를 거쳐 시장 도입을 본격적으로 진행하고, 시장에 도입될 콘텐츠에 대해 수명 주기 관리를 통해 제품 전략을 지속적으로 운영하게 된다.
