This research looks at the innovative product characteristics, environmental properties, and personal attitudes as antecedents of consumer's perceived usefulness and easiness of product usage. And the attitudes toward digital convergence products and its acceptability as consequences. The results indicate that relative advantage, expectation for better product, the social influence, mass communications, and attitudes toward the new technology, significantly influence the perceived usefulness. The current research revealed that perceived usefulness is more influential over perceived easiness on the formation of positive attitude toward the product. The users of digital convergence products put more weight on the availability of the product functions rather than easiness of use.

디지털 기술의 발달과 급진적인 IT 산업의 발전은 환경적 인프라의 통합 및 구축을 촉진시켰으며, 이를 기반으로 한 모바일 기기들의 기술적 통합 (Technology Convergence)을 통하여 테크노매드 (Technomad)와 같은 이동성향을 가진 사용자들이 등장하기 시작하였다. 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스에 대한 사용자들의 니즈 (Needs)는 점차 증가추세를 보이고 있으나, 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스의 수요는 캐즘을 넘지 못하여 시장에서 성공적으로 진입하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스를 통해서 얻을 수 있는 디지털 서비스의 구축이 미비한 부분도 있기는 하지만, 만족스럽지 못한 사용성이나, 기기의 도메인적 특성의 불명확함은 기술이나 성능의 수용 민감도가 높은 선각수용자 (Early Adopter)들의 사용에서만 그치게 하는 등의 한계점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스의 개념과 도메인적 특성을 조사하고, 이를 통하여 사용 임계값 (Threshold)이 매스유저 (Mass User)가 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스를 사용하는데 진입장벽의 원인으로 작용하는 것을 발견하였다. 이러한 사용 임계값 (Threshold)이 실제 태스크 (Task)수행 시 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 휴리스틱과 선각수용자 (Early Adopter)의 웹 기반 조사를 실시하였고, 사용 임계값 (Threshold)의 영향으로 제대로 사용이 이루어지지 않는 태스크 타입 (Task Type)에 따라 시간적, 물리적 사용 임계값 관리 (Threshold Management)가 필요함을 발견하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해 실제 사용자들의 사용을 FGI (Focused Group Interview) 및 Contextual Inquiry 등의 정성적인 사용자 조사방법을 실시하여, 사용자에게 모바일 컨버전스 디바이스를 통하여 만족스런 사용성 및 경험을 제공하기 위해서는 시간적, 물리적, 시야적 사용 임계값 관리 (Threshold Management)를 개선 해야 함을 밝혀내고 결론적으로 이에 대한 가이드라인을 도출하였다.

We called a current society the convergence generation. In information society, digital convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. The effects of convergence technologies and social phenomenons are visualized in overall regions of society such as economy, society, culture, etc. In 2011, The Government introduced "IT Convergence Technology Prediction Survey 2025". This report includes 10 ICT industries. In this paper, we described a smart city which was leading case in digital convergence and related with our life.

대부분의 시간을 실내에서 보내는 사람들이 점점 많아짐에 따라서 안전한 실내 생활환경에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있고, 특히 실내 오염원을 감지하여 사전 조치를 취할 수 있는 측정 시스템에 대한 필요성이 점차 증대되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 논문에서는 다양한 환경 센서를 활용하여 가정이나 특정 실내공간의 환경정보를 측정하고 실내공기를 관리할 수 있는 '실내 환경정보 모니터링시스템'을 설계하고 구현하였다.

In food choice, consumers consider importantly food safely and reliability focusing on a high qualify control. Also they are concerned about sustainable production and consumption considering of area and environment. In this paper, We propose and design the high-quality seafood production support system that is based on international sanitary standard haccp, traceability and eco-fiendly seafood certification for safety and reliability of the seafood production. The system is categorized into five part: aquafarm haccp, environmental control monitoring, traceability, disease prevention and messenger service and seafood price inquiry service. The proposed system utilize diverse ubiquitous-it technologies like usn, network cctv, mobile device etc.

니콜라스 네그로폰테(MIT대 미디어랩 교수), 조지 길더(텔로코즘 저자)를 위시한 금세기 디지털 리더들이 서울에서 강연 잔치를 벌였다. SBS는 지난달 5월 6,7일 서울 목동 신사옥에서 디지털 컨버전스 혁명 : 새로운 기회를 찾아서라는 주제로 제 회 서울 디지털 포럼 2004를 개최했다. 이번 포럼은 디지털 강국으로 디지털 분야 리더와 디지털 산업의 미래를 조망하고 주요 이슈를 점검하는 구체적 담론의 장을 마련한다는 취지로 기획됐다. 세계적 석학, 퓨처리스트, 글러벌 기업의 최고 경영자 등이 이처럼 한국에 모여 미래를 논의하기는 드문 일로 미래 비전에 목말라하는 IT관계자들의 유익한 자리가 됐다.

Collection and use of personal information have enabled firms to improve their value propositions by offering personalization. On the other hand, they have caused widespread concerns by consumers that their privacy is invaded. Because previously distributed personal information can be integrated and utilized to offer more personalized services, those concerns may be intensified with the progress of the digital convergence environment. In this study, factors for privacy invasion and their impact on the privacy concerns are suggested. Then, an empirical study is conducted to examine some of the suggestions. From the analysis, several results are derived. First, as more personal data are collected, secrecy and autonomy concerns increase exponentially rather than steadily. Second, as targeting accuracy is improved, greater secrecy and autonomy concerns are expressed by consumers, but less seclusion concerns. Finally, monetary reward such as coupons can reduce seclusion concerns when targeting accuracy is high. Based on the results, implications for managing consumer privacy concerns are provided under digital convergence environment.

월간 "디지털콘텐츠"는 지난달 7일 '2006년 디지털콘텐츠(DC)산업의 과제와 전망'을 주제로 신년특집 좌담회를 개최했다. 보지 이창한 편지장의 사회로 진행된 이번 좌담회는 곽종철 정보통신부 IT정책자문단 SW/DC PM,권강현 삼성전자 디지털솔루션센터 상무, 권택민 한국소프트웨어진흥원(KIPA) 디지털콘텐츠사업단장, 위정현 중앙대 상경학부 교수(가나다 순)등이 패널로 참석.DC산업 전반에 대한 열띤 토론을 펼쳤다. 특히 참석자들은 디지털컨버전스등 컴퓨팅 환경 변화에 따른 새로운 DC의 필요성 여부, 대기업의 DC시장 진출 문제,DC 수출 편중 현상 등 현 DC업계 이슈에 대한 갑론을바을 벌였다.

디지털컨버전스가 더욱 더 본격화되면 가전제품에서 보아왔던 것처럼 단순한 제품간의 기능의 통합을 넘어 금융상품이나 방송서비스, 신용카드 등 다양한 분야의 결합이 가능해지고 각 기기간의 데이터 교환이 상호 가능해진다. 따라서 모든 제품간의 네트워크화를 이루게 되어 생산자와 소비자간의 유기적 결합을 통한 새로운 산업환경의 변화를 이끌어 내리라는 전망이다. 특히 최근 각광을 받고 있는 멀티미디어인 휴대용 동영상 플레이어(PMP), 개인 정보단말기(PDA), 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(DMB), 디지털카메라 등 여러 가지 형태의 디지털 미디어와 IT기술의 결합이 예상된다.
