This study proposed to assess courses which are currently offered in the Department of Library and Information Science, and to explore directions for improvement. Based on field librarians' needs and opinions about the courses, we suggested separating the required, core, and elective courses. We proposed six courses including 'Internship', 'Introduction to Library and Information Science', 'Cataloging and Classification', 'Library Management', and 'Information Retrieval' as required courses, and 5 courses including 'Practice in Cataloging and Classification', 'Information Resource and Service', 'Collection Development', 'Digital Library System', 'Introduction to Bibliography' and 'Records Management and Archives' as core courses. Finally, the remaining courses were recommended as selective courses which each department could select depending on their circumstances and faculty. The important components for substantial LIS courses are as follows: timeliness of training topics, expertise of educational contents, professionalism and qualifications of faculty, specialized educational materials, and increasing the major correlation between courses and professors.

This study analyzed library awareness and anxiety among people in their 20s living in East Asia. The objective is to develop the international library cooperation agenda for life-long education proliferation. User groups in Korea, China, and Japan were investigated to understand the differences in library awareness based on the situational contexts such as preferred resources, use frequency, educational level, and gender. Results of the data analysis showed the correlation between library anxiety and use patterns such as preferred information sources and frequency of use. Specifically, the user group in China has the highest level of library anxiety with every factor. Also, the Korean user group was measured to have the lowest level of library anxiety in terms of digital information factor. Based on these results, the study presents several recommendations for resolving library anxiety such as embracing new information need with regard to environmental change and suggesting a new space policy for libraries.

정보환경의 변화에 따라 도서관과 웹 검색엔진의 차별성이 있음에도 불구하고 이용자들은 인터넷의 자원과 학술데이터베이스의 자원을 혼동하고 있다. 특히 구글스칼라가 갖는 검색속도와 조작의 편의성이라는 장점에 따라 데이터베이스의 학술적 가치에도 불구하고 구글스칼라를 가장 많이 이용하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 구글스칼라가 갖는 장점을 반영한 메타서치시스템의 특성과 가치를 조사하였다. 조사 대상은 메타서치시스템이 갖는 인터페이스 측면과 전자정보원 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 이러한 새로운 검색채널로써 메타서치시스템을 이용하는 기관의 이용통계를 분석하여, 이를 바탕으로 구글스칼라와 같은 웹 검색엔진이 갖는 이용자선호가치를 수용하는 상황에서 이용자 이용행태 패턴과 주제별 전자정보 탐색 행위 등을 조사하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze user needs of university libraries for design of user-centered information retrieval system. To do this, 6 kinds of basic system design factors necessary for user-centered information retrieval system design of the university libraries are used. The user needs which should be considered for system design are examined and analyzed through the questionnaires made by user-centered approach according to the design factors.

오늘날 기업 활동 전반에 걸쳐 네트워크 및 정보시스템에 대한 의존도가 높아지고 있는 추세에 따라 이를 대상으로 한 정보 보안 침해 역시 증가하고 있다. 우리나라의 산업 구조상 중소기업은 전체 사업체수를 기준으로 99%이상을 차지하고 있으며 특히 소기업 및 소상공인은 전체의 96%이상을 차지하고 있다. 중소기업은 그 규모의 특성상 상대적으로 정보보안 위협에 취약함이 지적되고 있으며 이들의 보안 역량 강화는 안전한 디지털 경제 환경을 조성하기 위한 핵심 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 그 중요성에 대한 인식을 기반으로 중소기업의 특성에 맞는 정보 보안 교육 훈련이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 중소기업 및 정보 보안 관련 주무 기관인 중소기업청, 국가정보원 등과 더불어 민간 정보기술(IT)교육 훈련 기관들에서 실시되고 있는 중소기업을 위한 정보 보안 교육 훈련의 현황을 살펴보고 문제점을 파악하고자 한다.

GIS 콘텐츠의 가장 중요한 대상이 되는 지형 및 지리 공간정보는 다양한 자료의 수집과 변환에 의한 시스템 통합을 통하여 완성된다. 즉 다양한 공간자료의 통일된 표준화에 의해 통합을 이룰 수 있으므로, 그 내용과 형태가 서로 다른 공간정보는 처음 수집된 상태에서 여러 변환 과정을 통해 다른 형태와 영상으로 새롭게 생성되어 통합을 이루는 요소가 될 수 있다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 대형 댐의 건설로 인하여 수몰된 지역의 과거의 지공간의 정보원 찾아 현실세계와 비교하여 그 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 영상복원을 하는데 이용된 여러 가지의 지공간 자료의 처리과정을 통하여 일반 사진부터 디지털 위성영상자료, 수몰 직전에 제작된 지형도, 마을 사진 등을 통합과정 을 통하여 수몰 이전의 GIS콘텐츠의 공간정보의 통합에 의한 활용 기법을 확인하였다.

교육과 연구의 현자인 대학에서 네트워크를 이용한 디지털 정보자원의 활용은 특정 전공에 국한되지 않고 필수적인 도구가 되어가고 있다. 이러한 정보원과 도구를 대학 환경에서 모든 구성원들이 적극적이고도 손쉽게 활용하는 것이 대학의 정보서비스 업무에 기본이 되어야 한다. 하지만 급속히 변화하는 정보 네트워크 서비스 현장에서 발생하는 문제점들은 대체로 육안으로 확인하기 어려운 것들이기 때문에 이용자들의 요구사항을 정기적으로 조사·분석하여 이용자 측면에서 교내의 정보시스템을 평가·감사하는 것은 시스템을 성공적으로 운영하는데 있어서 필수적인 활동이다. 본 연구에서는 S 대학의 사례를 통하여 구성원들이 가지고 있고 또 필요로 하는 정보자원을 효과적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하는 최선의 방법을 조사 연구하여 문제 해결 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

지난 5월 20일에서 30일 양일 간 한국기술과학단체총연합회 대강당에서 제 2회 특허정보컨퍼런스가 성황리에 개최되었다. 이날 컨퍼런스는 한국데이터베이스진흥센터와 조선일보사가 공동 주최로 열렸으며 주관은 도원닷컴(주), 후원은 특허청, 데이콤천리안, 유니텔, 전자신문사, 한국발명진흥회, 한국통신하이텔, 한국통신, SK텔레콤, 한국경제신문사, 산업기술정보원이 함께 했다. 첫날은 인터넷비즈니스 추진을 위한 특허전략이라는 주제로 해당분야 전문가들의 발표가 있었다. 최근 인터넷 분야 특허에 대한 관심들을 증명하듯 대강당 빈자리가 없을 정도였다. 여타의 컨퍼런스와 달리 발표 중간 자리를 뜨는 사람도 없어서 BM특허가 향후 추진될 인터넷 관련 사업에 있어 얼마나 중요한가를 피부로 느낄수 있었다. 무엇보다도 중요한 것은 발표 내용인데 다양한 각도에서 BM특허에 관한 전반적인 것을 조명해 볼 수 있는 내용들이라는 것이 참석자의 평이다.

The National Geographic Information Institute of Korea takes digital aerial photograph images every two years to make and modify/renew the digital map. The cameras for aerial photogrammetry to capture these digital aerial photographs are divided into frame types and line types. Computer vision analysis of aerial photograph images was only possible for frame type. Thus, in this study, Line type aerial photograph images was intended to generate geospatial information through computer vision analysis, and forest geospatial information was created as a method for the utilization of aerial picture images. As a result, geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis of line type aerial photograph images showed that RMSE of horizontal and vertical position errors was less than quadruple that of GSD. Forest geospatial information was generated using geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis. It was confirmed that extraction of the crown of tree and calculation of tree height are possible. Through this study, it is expected that utilization of aerial photograph images will be improved.

The industries of culture contents is the trend to enforce the power of National competitions in the world economy knowledge foundation which tries to exchange a labor industry to the knowledge business. The spread of internet is the apparently turning point to be devide the world economy into the industrial society and the digital society. Also the communication with internet has been recognized as it is not any more newly means of communication in Korea. Net value which is a multinational internet survey corporation clarified that Korea was the most nation in the world by the result of its research in the rate of using internet. This research look into the characteristic of the media and type of the animation in internet, also analysis a need of user and a degree of convenience of using internet in the web of education site. This study is designed to study the evaluation criteria of web interface with visual perception and to seek its development in relation to the quality of visual perception in case of web animation.
