Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process for the Evaluation of Old Dwelling Façade Design Factor

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate facade design factors of old dwellings using a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on a pairwise comparison analysis using "Façade Design Factors" as evaluation criteria. Traditional old dwellings were presented and evaluated. A Fuzzy AHP based model was used for pairwise comparison of traditional old dwellings, whereby seven criteria and nine alternatives were described through a questionnaire and constructional data. The Fuzzy AHP was used to determine the impact of the facade design factors, because "Traditional" old dwellings are identified by the combination of their facade design factors. Furthermore, the fuzzy AHP is used to verify the feasibility and efficiency of this approach as well as for extent analysis to comprehend the priority of the traditional old dwellings using a sensibility measuring scale.

The Effect of Cosmetics Purchasing Experience through Live Commerce on Purchasing Satisfaction and Continuous Purchase Intention (라이브 커머스를 통한 화장품 구매경험이 구매만족도와 지속적 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study collected data from 301 men and women in their teens and 50s living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province to analyze the impact of gender, age, and experience in purchasing cosmetics through live commerce on purchasing satisfaction and continuous purchase intention. As a result, the purchasing experience through live commerce was classified as 'practical value', 'entertainment value' and 'trusted value', and purchase satisfaction and continuing purchase intention were presented in a single dimension. Depending on gender and age, the experience of purchasing cosmetics through live commerce has had a positive impact on purchasing satisfaction and continuous purchase intention. Depending on gender and age, purchase satisfaction affects continuous purchase intention. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for establishing marketing strategies that utilize live commerce by gender and age in the cosmetics industry.

  • This study proposes and demonstrates the value of user - centered design methodology based on linguistic analysis. The results of the proposed user behavioural analysis framework suggested that the syntactic structure between the sentence structure and its components could be a logical basis for explaining the user's situation and behavior. Based on this, the definitions and classifications of user interactions and user contexts were conducted in a microscopically context. User behavior has also been established to identify pattern structures of purposeful nature and constitutes a user behavior sequence that prioritizes them. Next, the User Experience Analysis Framework was derived by defining the relationship between User Behavior and User Behavior and User Context and User Context.   • Consumers' awareness of product value, and their product preferences, are becoming increasingly influential in product development, particularly in corporations' efforts in manufacturing products with a competitive edge. Corporations conduct surveys on consumers' product satisfaction and preferences and conduct in-depth studies on consumer needs. They then manufacture products in accordance with the results of these surveys and studies. With the necessity and demand for digital door lock products recently growing, this research sought to explore product competitiveness reinforcement factors that could facilitate market penetration, and to formulate corresponding design strategies. In-depth consumer interviews were also conducted to identify consumer lifestyles and needs. Furthermore, consumer preference images, purchase and use-related patterns, and the status of door lock markets were studied. In the past, to design and manufacture consumer-oriented products, corporations primarily resorted to the improvement of the products' technological features. At present, the users' product preferences and the ways that they use these products are the factors that determine product design. Consumers today tend to adjust their lifestyles according to available products, and prefer products that have greater value in terms of lifestyle and culture. Strategic points for reinforcing competitiveness were presented in this study: first, offering different values that will enhance consumer satisfaction, second, positively developing bio-recognizable methods that will boost consumer preference, third, meeting the consumers' expectations that door lock products should not be mere 'entrance and exit control' systems, but network security systems and fourth, adopting convenient authentication methods backed by advanced technologies.

Calculation of the Eco-Design Index for Components of the Multi-function Printer (공용 복합기 출력 기능 소모품들의 Eco Design Index 산정)

  • Conventional eco-design has been implemented based only on the environmental aspects of a product. Key components of a product identified from the analysis of the environmental aspects have been the target for improvement in the conventional eco-design. The use of eco-design index (EDI) considering both the environmental and economic aspects, and utility value (UV) of a product can be envisaged as an alternative way of implementing and assessing the eco-design. The objective of this study was to propose the logic of the EDI and apply it to the components for performing printing function of the multi-function printer. The EDI was formulated by quantifying the UV, life cycle environmental impact (LCE) and life cycle cost (LCC) of the components of a product, here components of the printer. Of the eight components investigated, roller was identified as the best performing consumable in both the environmental and economic aspects. However, its UV was the lowest among the eight. The EDI of the roller was mere $4^{th}$ in ranking out of the eight. Transfer belt ranked $8^{th}$ and $5^{th}$ in the environmental and economic aspects, respectively, while $2^{nd}$ in the utility value with its EDI ranked $3^{rd}$. This indicates that not only the environmental aspects but also economic and utility value aspects should be considered when identifying the key components for improvement in the eco-design.

  • 세계적인 어획량 감소와 부패하기 쉽고 보관이 어렵다는 수산물의 특성에 따라 수산물의 적절한 가공과 이에 따른 수산물의 포장은 수산물의 상품성과 부가가치를 높일 수 있는 방법으로 최근 새롭게 부각되어 지고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 부산의 수산가공선진화 단지는 수산가공업의 경쟁력 제고 및 활성화를 목적으로 정책적으로 추진되고 있다. 수산가공선진화 단지는 식품 위생 안전시설(HACCP)을 통한 수산식품의 신뢰성 확보, 원재료 및 제품의 공급 체계 확보를 통한 비용절감 및 물류 효율화 등 수산가공업체의 운영 환경구축과 함께 가공수산물의 포장디자인 관련 연구 지원시설인 포장디자인센터도 단지 내에 구축될 예정이다. 본 연구에서는 수산가공선진화 단지 내 구축될 포장디자인센터의 역할과 거시적 운영목표를 설정하고 효율적인 운영방향을 제시하고자 하는 목적으로 진행되었다. 포장디자인센터는 공공의 자산으로서 수산가공선진화단지의 입주기업 뿐 아니라 지역의 수산물 가공산업 전반에 대한 발전을 이끌어야 하며, 디자인산업과의 융합으로 새로운 디자인 수요를 창출하고 특성화하여 지역디자인산업의 진흥을 목적으로 운영되어야 한다. 이러한 목적의 달성을 위해 산업화, 지식화, 융합화, 차별화의 4가지의 비젼을 운영 컨셉으로 도출하였고 이를 바탕으로 포장디자인센터의 효율적인 운영을 위한 전략적 추진사업으로 6가지 사업을 제시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 디자인산업과 가공수산물산업의 융 복합이 성공적으로 운영되어 국 내외 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보하고 산업간 융합을 통한 새로운 활력 창출의 성공적인 모델이 될 수 있기를 기대한다. 본 원고는 한국브랜드디자인학회 통권 제28호에 실린 논문에서 발췌했다
