Development of Self Tuning and Adaptive Fuzzy Controller to control of Induction Motor (유도전동기 드라이브의 제어를 위한 자기동조 및 적응 퍼지제어기 개발)

  • The induction motor drive applied to field oriented control is widely used in industry applications. However, it is deceased performance and authenticity by saturation, temperature changing, disturbance and parameters changing because modeling of induction motor is nonlinear and complex. In order to control variable speed operation, conventional PI-like controllers are commonly used. These controllers provide limited good performance over a wide range of operation, even under ideal field oriented conditions. This paper proposes self tuning PI controller based on fuzzy-neural network(FNN)-PI controller that is implemented using fuzzy control, neural network, and adaptive fuzzy controller(AFC). Also, this paper proposes estimation of speed using ANN. The proposed control algorithm is applied to induction motor drive system using FNN-PI, AFC and ANN controller. Also, this paper proposes the anlysis results to verify the effectiveness of controller.

  • PID 제어는 50년의 역사를 갖기 때문에 현장의 사용자는 이 제어방식에 익숙해져 있으며, 제어장치의 구성이 간단하며 제어기의 최적동조가 가능하므로 많은 분야에서 사용되고 있다[1]. 그러나 PID 제어기에 의해서 얻은 결과에 대하여 만족하기 위해서는 많은 시행착오를 겪어야 한다. 또한 만족하는 결과를 얻었다고 할지라도 외란, 플랜트의 동특성이 바뀌는 경우 시스템을 추종하지 못하기 때문에 파라미터를 재조정하여야 한다. 유전 알고리즘은 자연세계의 진화 현상에 기초한 계산모델로서 John Holland에 의해서 1975년에 개발된 전역적인 최적화 알고리즘이며[1][2], 비선형 고차원, 불연속, 다중모드, 노이즈 함수 등에 대하여 강건함을 보여주고, 복잡한 탐색 공간에서 최적 값을 스스로 발견하는 학습 능력을 갖는다. 이 방법은 재생산, 교배, 돌연변이를 통하여 최적해를 찾은 방법으로 1989년에 D. E. Goldgerg에 의해서 체계적으로 정리된 후 여러 분야에서 응용되고 있다[3][4]. 그러나 유전 알고리즘은 목적함수만을 이용하여 해집단을 탐색하기 때문에 숙련운전자가 원하는 제어 특성 명세인 상승시간, 정착시간, 초과량(oveshoot) 둥을 구체적으로 명시하여 제어에 반영할 수 없다. 또한, 유전 알고리즘은 입력 값이 크게 바뀔 경우 다른 시스템으로 인식하여 새로운 탐색을 수행하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문은 첫째, 기준모델을 도입하여 플랜트의 성능을 기준모델로 표현하여 플랜트가 요구하는 성능지표를 정량적으로 규정하는 것이 가능하였다. 또한, 이것은 미지 플랜트 동특성을 식별하기 위한 신호로 사용되어, 플랜트의 정보를 얻는데 이용되었다. 즉, 기준모델과 플랜트 출력사이의 추종 오차 정보가 적응기구인 PID 유전제어기의 입력으로 사용되며, 구형파 입력의 경우에도 기준모델과 플랜트의 출력차는 크게 변하지 않는다. 따라서, 유전 알고리즘의 목적함수에 기준 모델을 제안 적용하여 안정적이고, 세밀한 제어를 수행하였다. 둘째, PID의 간단하면서 확실한 제어가 가능하다는 점과 전역적인 최적값을 찾을 수 있는 유전 알고리즘을 적용하여 고속제어를 요하는 직류 서보 모터(DC Servo Motor) 운전 시 실시간 파라미터 동조에 적용하였다.

Study on time-varying herd behavior in individual stocks (개별 주가에 반영된 시변 무리행동 연구)

  • Many of the theoretical studies have considered herd behavior as a source of the volatility in financial markets, but there have been few empirical studies on the dynamic herding due to the technical difficulty of detecting herd behavior with time-series data. In this context, this paper proposes a new method for measuring time-varying herd behavior based on QR-GARCH model. Using daily data of KOSPI stocks, this paper provides some empirical evidence for strong and volatile herding among traders of stocks of medium firms, and shows that time-varying herd behavior in traders of some stocks has persistent autocorrelation.

Somatic Embryogenesis and Plant Regeneration in Suspension Cultures of Aralia elata S (두릅캘러스의 현탁배양에서 체세포배발생과 식물체 재분화)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the possibility of plant regeneration through somatic embryogenesis in suspension culture of Aralia elata S. Callus was induced from the explants of leaf and petiole cultured in the MS media containing 2,4-D and TDZ. More embryogenic calli were formed from petiole and with combination treatment of 24-D and TDZ. The quarter strength MS medium was effective for increasing number of somatic embryos. Mannitol supplemented to the quarter strength MS medium, reduced somatic embryo formation but inositol increased. Normal plantlets(86%) were regenerated from mature somatic embryos in MS basal medium and 50% of those survied when transplanted to the vermiculite in greenhouse.

  • This paper presents self tuning PI(STPI) controller of IPMSM drive using neural network. In general, PI controller in computer numerically controlled machine process fixed gain. They may perform well under some operating conditions, but not all. To increase the robustness of fixed gain PI controller, STPI controller proposes a new method based neural network. STPI controller is developed to minimize overshoot, rise time and settling time following sudden parameter changes such as speed, load torque and inertia. Also, this paper is proposed speed control of IPMSM using neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network(ANN) controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The results on a speed controller of IPMSM are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed gain tuner. And this controller is better than the fixed gains one in terms of robustness, even under great variations of operating conditions and load disturbance.

Empathy Evaluation Method Using Micro-movement (인체 미동을 이용한 공감도 평가 방법)

  • The goal of this study is to present quantification method for empathy. The micro-movement technology (non-contact sensing method) was used to identify empathy level. Participants were first divided into two groups: Empathized and not empathized. Then, the upper body data of participants were collected utilizing web-cam when participants carried expression tasks. The data were analyzed and categorized into 0.5 Hz, 1 Hz, 3 Hz, 5 Hz, 15 Hz. The average movement, variation, and synchronization of the movement were then compared. The results showed a low average movement and variation in a group who empathized. Also, the participants, who empathized, synchronized their movement during the task. This indicates that the people concentrates with each other when empathy has been established and show different levels of movement. These findings suggest the possibility of empathy quantification using non-contact sensing method.

A Survey Research of Mathematics Educators' and Mathematicians' Preference on Journals (수학교육학과 수학 연구자들의 학술지 선호 경향에 대한 조사 연구)

  • The journals provide an academic arena for researchers in specific academic field, and play a crucial role in the process of formation and development of the academic field. The main purpose of this research was to investigate the familiarity, reputation, applicability, and preference of mathematics education journals. For this purpose, a survey was conducted for mathematics educators. As a result, the three journals , , and were notably preferred by mathematics educators, and the scores of familiarity, reputation, applicability, and preference were almost synchronized. On the other hand, mutual preference of mathematics education, mathematics, and education journals is an indicator of the communication among related academic fields. However, mathematics education researchers showed little preference toward mathematics and education journals, and vice versa.

Low Phase Shift Attenuator Using the Half-Moon Radial Stub (반달 모양의 방사형 동조 스터브를 이용한 저위상 변화 감쇠기의 설계)

  • In this paper, we present a computer-aided design(CAD) technique for minimizing the phase shift in microstrip PIN diode attenuators due to the junction capacitance in the equivalent circuit model of PIN diode. Microstrip PIN diode attenuators use the characteristics which the reactance of microstrip line changes from inductive to capacitive as the frequency sweeps across the band. Microstrip PIN diode attenuator designed utilizes the quarter-wavelength transmission line terminating with the half-moon radial stub, which is designed for negligible phase shifting effect over the intersted bandwidth. The attenuator has similar phase shift at 0 dB and 10 dB of attenuation within average $1.27^{\circ}$ between 1.2GHz and 1.9GHz. The input and output return losses between 1.4 GHz and 1.9 GHz are less than 10 dB over the attenuation range of 0 dB and 10 dB.

  • In this paper described an auto tuning neuro-fuzzy PID controller based neural network. The PID type controller has been widely used in industrial application due to its simply control structure, easy of design, and inexpensive cost. However, control performance of the PID type controller suffers greatly from high uncertainty and nonlinearity of the system, large disturbances and so on. In this paper will design to take advantage of neural network fuzzy theory and pid controller auto toning technique. The value of initial scaling factors of the proposed controller were determined on the basis of the conventional PID controller parameters tuning methods and then they were adjusted by using neural network control techniques. This controller simple structure and computational complexity are less, and also application is easy and performance is excellent in system that is strong and has nonlinearity to system dynamic behaviour change or disturbance. Finally, the proposed auto tuning neuro-fuzzy controller is applied to magnetic levitation. Simulation results demonstrated that the control performance of the proposed controller is better than that of the conventional controller.

Design of Optimized Radial Basis Function Neural Networks Classifier with the Aid of Principal Component Analysis and Linear Discriminant Analysis (주성분 분석법과 선형판별 분석법을 이용한 최적화된 방사형 기저 함수 신경회로망 분류기의 설계)

  • In this paper, we introduce design methodologies of polynomial radial basis function neural network classifier with the aid of Principal Component Analysis(PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA). By minimizing the information loss of given data, Feature data is obtained through preprocessing of PCA and LDA and then this data is used as input data of RBFNNs. The hidden layer of RBFNNs is built up by Fuzzy C-Mean(FCM) clustering algorithm instead of receptive fields and linear polynomial function is used as connection weights between hidden and output layer. In order to design optimized classifier, the structural and parametric values such as the number of eigenvectors of PCA and LDA, and fuzzification coefficient of FCM algorithm are optimized by Artificial Bee Colony(ABC) optimization algorithm. The proposed classifier is applied to some machine learning datasets and its result is compared with some other classifiers.
