Speaker Recognition Using Dynamic Time Variation fo Orthogonal Parameters (직교인자의 동적 특성을 이용한 화자인식)

  • Recently, many researchers have found that the speaker recognition rate is high when they perform the speaker recognition using statistical processing method of orthogonal parameter, which are derived from the analysis of speech signal and contain much of the speaker's identity. This method, however, has problems caused by vocalization speed or time varying feature of speed. Thus, to solve these problems, this paper proposes two methods of speaker recognition which combine DTW algorithm with the method using orthogonal parameters extracted from $Karthumem-Lo\'{e}ve$ Transform method which applies orthogonal parameters as feature vector to ETW algorithm and the other is the method which applies orthogonal parameters to the optimal path. In addition, we compare speaker recognition rate obtained from the proposed two method with that from the conventional method of statistical process of orthogonal parameters. Orthogonal parameters used in this paper are derived from both linear prediction coefficients and partial correlation coefficients of speech signal.

  • 본 논문은 DTW(Dynamic Time Warping)을 이용한 음성인식에서 표준패턴(reference patterns)으로 사용되는 벡터열을 GA(Genetic Algorithm)을 이용하여 보다 적응된 패턴의 벡터열로 생성하는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문의 필요성은 다음과 같다. 음성인식의 주요한 엔진들 중에 하나로 DTW가 사용된다[1]. DTW는 표준패턴과 시험패턴(test patterns)간의 최적 경로(optimal path)를 찾아내어 가장 유사한 패턴을 찾아내는 방법을 말한다. 그러나 음성은 같은 발음에 대해서도 사람의 발성 길이와 목의 상태 등에 따라 다양한 패턴으로 나타나며 동일 화자의 같은 어휘도 시간과 환경에 따라 변한다. 따라서 이러한 음성의 동적 특성에 적응하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제에 대한 해결 방법으로 GA를 이용하여 보다 적합하고 적응적인 표준 패턴을 생성시켜 적응하는 방법을 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 축구로봇 시스템에서 상위 레벨 제어기에 해당하는 행동선택기를 다층신경회로망을 이용하여 설계한다. 축구로봇 시스템에서 로봇의 속도가 빠른 상태에서 제어가 가능하도록 로봇의 행동레벨을 설정하고 주어진 동적 상황에 대해 여러 가지 상황변수를 정의하여, 각 상황에 가장 효율적이며 최적의 행동을 선택하도록 한다. 각 로봇이 목표점으로 이동할 때 어떠한 행동을 선택하여 어떻게 움직이느냐에 따라 로봇은 같은 위치에서 목표점을 이동하더라도 이동경로가 달라진다. 따라서, 로봇축구 경기 상황을 나타내는 상황 변수들을 입력으로 하는 다층신경회로망을 사용하여 출력으로 행동을 판단하여 실행하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 그를 위한 하드웨어와 시뮬레이터 도구를 제작한다. 역전파 알고리즘을 통해 신경망을 학습하고 학습된 데이터를 실험에 적용한다.

Optimal Path Planning of Mobile Robot for Multiple Moving Obstacles (복수의 동적 장애물에 대한 이동로봇의 최적경로설계)

  • The most important thing for navigation of a mobile robot is to find the most suitable path and avoid the obstacles in the static and dynamic environment. This paper presents a method to search the optimal path in start space extended to time domain with considering a velocity and a direction of moving obstacles. A modified version of $A^*$ algorithm has been applied for path planning in this work and proposed a method of path search to avoid a collision with moving obstacle in space-tim domain with a velocity and an orientation of obstacles. The velocity and the direction for moving obstacle are assumed as linear form. The simulation result shows that a mobile robot navigates safely among moving obstacles of constant linear velocity. This work can be applied for not only a moving robot but also a legged humanoid robot and all fields where the path planning is required.

  • 네트워크의 발달과 다양한 서비스의 요구에 따라 새로운 소프트웨어의 패러다임에 대한 요구와 함께 이동 에이전트에 대한 많은 연구가 진행 중이다. 이동 에이전트의 수행에 있어 이주비용은 이동 에이전트의 성능에 많은 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서 이동에이전트의 이주비용을 최적화하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 이주기법의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 네트워크 상태 및 플랫폼 상태변화에 적절하게 대응할 수 있는 동적 경로를 생성하여 에이전트 수행 효율을 높인다. 둘째, 수행할 코드를 프리패칭하여 이동 데이터량을 줄이고, 필요한 에이전트를 미리 인스턴스시켜 수행 시간을 단축한다. 셋째, 체크포인트기법을 사용하여 에이전트 수행 중에 에러가 발생할지라도 에이전트는 재 수행을 하지 않고 에러 이전의 상태로 복구하는 방법을 사용하여 수행 효율을 높인다.

  • Construction of automated terminal is urgently demanded to gain the foundation of hub-port in north east Asia. Therefore I suggest an adequate operating system model of automated terminal in Korea. In this paper the aim of automated terminal operating system is satisfied, four basic models are divided according to moving course of export and import cargo of each automated equipments, several input data are changed and analyzed dynamically by Trial and Error method, and then an optimized operating system model is designed. It is a Premise that all the yard equipments described in this paper must be automatic except quay crane.

A Simulation-Based Investigation of an Advanced Traveler Information System with V2V in Urban Network (시뮬레이션기법을 통한 차량 간 통신을 이용한 첨단교통정보시스템의 효과 분석 (도시 도로망을 중심으로))

  • More affordable and available cutting-edge technologies (e.g., wireless vehicle communication) are regarded as a possible alternative to the fixed infrastructure-based traffic information system requiring the expensive infrastructure investments and mostly implemented in the uninterrupted freeway network with limited spatial system expansion. This paper develops an advanced decentralized traveler information System (ATIS) using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication system whose performance (drivers' travel time savings) are enhanced by three complementary functions (autonomous automatic incident detection algorithm, reliable sample size function, and driver behavior model) and evaluates it in the typical $6{\times}6$ urban grid network with non-recurrent traffic state (traffic incident) with the varying key parameters (traffic flow, communication radio range, and penetration ratio), employing the off-the-shelf microscopic simulation model (VISSIM) under the ideal vehicle communication environment. Simulation outputs indicate that as the three key parameters are increased more participating vehicles are involved for traffic data propagation in the less communication groups at the faster data dissemination speed. Also, participating vehicles saved their travel time by dynamically updating the up-to-date traffic states and searching for the new route. Focusing on the travel time difference of (instant) re-routing vehicles, lower traffic flow cases saved more time than higher traffic flow ones. This is because a relatively small number of vehicles in 300vph case re-route during the most system-efficient time period (the early time of the traffic incident) but more vehicles in 514vph case re-route during less system-efficient time period, even after the incident is resolved. Also, normally re-routings on the network-entering links saved more travel time than any other places inside the network except the case where the direct effect of traffic incident triggers vehicle re-routings during the effective incident time period and the location and direction of the incident link determines the spatial distribution of re-routing vehicles.

  • Mobile multicast schemes are classified into remote subscription and bi-directional tunneling. While the former scheme has much overhead in the maintenances of multicast tree, the latter suffers from inefficient routing. In this paper, we propose dynamic mobile multicast routing (DMMR) scheme, which is operated on the basis of cost functions related with forwarding cost and tree reconstruction cost, Basically DMMR intends to find lower cost between forwarding cost and tree reconstruction cost. Forwarding cost is the cost of tunneling multicast packets from home agent, and tree reconstruction cost is the joining cost of foreign agent to multicast group. In the case that a mobile host moves to the other area, its foreign agent calculates cost functions related with forwarding cost and tree reconstruction cost. If forwarding cost is higher than tree reconstruction cost, foreign agent joins to multicast group and reconstructs the multicast tree. Accordingly, foreign agent can dynamically adapt remote subscription or bi-directional tunneling, Our scheme provides more stable multicast service to the mobile hosts regardless of the movements of mobile host and the number of mobile group members.

  • A new online routing algerian is proposed in this paper, which use the interference-prediction to solve the network congestion originated from extension of Internet scope and increasing amount of traffic. The end-to-end QoS has to be guaranteed in order to satisfy service level agreements (SLAs) in the integrated networks of next generation. For this purpose, bandwidth is allocated dynamically and effectively, moreover the path selection algorithm is required while considering the network performance. The proposed algorithm predicts the level of how much the amount of current demand interferes the future potential traffic, and then minimizes it. The proposed algorithm considers the bandwidth on demand, link state, and the information about ingress-egress pairs to maximize the network performance and to prevent the waste of the limited resources. In addition, the interference-prediction supports the bandwidth guarantee in dynamic network to accept more requests. In the result, the proposed algorithm performs the effective admission control and QoS routing. In this paper, we analyze the required conditions of routing algorithms, the aspect of recent research, and the representative algorithms to propose the optimized path selection algorithm adequate to Internet franc engineering. Based on these results, we analyze the problems of existing algorithms and propose our algorithm. The simulation shows improved performance by comparing with other algorithms and analyzing them.

Low Cost and Acceptable Delay Unicast Routing Algorithm Based on Interval Estimation (구간 추정 기반의 지연시간을 고려한 저비용 유니캐스트 라우팅 방식)

  • The end-to-end characteristic Is an important factor for QoS support. Since network users and required bandwidths for applications increase, the efficient usage of networks has been intensively investigated for the better utilization of network resources. The distributed adaptive routing is the typical routing algorithm that is used in the current Internet. The DCLC(Delay Constrained 1.east Cost) path problem has been shown to be NP-hard problem. The path cost of LD path is relatively more expensive than that of LC path, and the path delay of LC path is relatively higher than that of LD path in DCLC problem. In this paper, we investigate the performance of heuristic algorithm for the DCLC problem with new factor which is probabilistic combination of cost and delay. Recently Dr. Salama proposed a polynomial time algorithm called DCUR. The algorithm always computes a path, where the cost of the path is always within 10% from the optimal CBF. Our evaluation showed that heuristic we propose is more than 38% better than DCUR with cost when number of nodes is more than 200. The new factor takes in account both cost and delay at the same time.
