  • 우리나라 전 연안에 고루 분포하고 있는 육상 양식장은 넙치, 조피볼락 등을 대상으로 운영되어 오고 있다. 이들 육상 양식장은 유수식 양식장으로 대부분이 생산량 증가에만 주력해 왔다. 1997년 7월부터 농수산물 시장이 완전 개방됨으로써 고비용 저효율 생산 체계에서 벗어나지 못하는 영세 양어가는 보다 어려운 처지에 높이게 되었다. 그러므로 가동 경비의 절감은 앞으로의 발전을 위한 가장 절박한 문제로 한사람의 인력으로 생산될 수 있는 양을 극대화할 수 있는 시설이어야 하며, 물의 순환과 산소 보충을 위한 동력 또는 에너지 소비량을 가능한 줄이도록 하여 생산원가 절감을 통한 경쟁력을 갖추어야 한다(김 1996). Effect of Recirculated Exhaust Gas upon Performance and Exhaust Emissions in Power Plant Boilers with FGR System (FGR 시스템 공력 플랜트 보일러의 성능 및 배기 배출물에 미치는 재순환 배기의 영향)

  • The effect of recirculated exhaust gas on performance and exhaust emissions with FGR rate are investigated by using a natural circulation, pressurized draft and water tube boiler with FGR system operating at several boiler loads and over fire air(OFA) damper openings. The purpose of this study is to apply the FGR system to a power plant boiler for reducing $NO_{x}$ emissions. To activate the combustion, the suction damper of two stage combustion system installed in the upper side of wind box is opened by handling the lever between $0^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$ , and the OFA with 0 to 20% into the flame is supplied, as the combustion air supplied to burner is reduced. It is found that the fuel consumption rate divided by evaporation rate does not show an obvious tendency to increase or decrease with rising the FOR rate, and $NO_{x}$ emissions are decreased, at the same OF A damper opening, as FOR rates are elevated and boiler loads are dropped.

A Study on the Recirculation Flow Characteristics with the Change of Shape in a Flue Gas Recirculation Device using Coanda Nozzle (코안다 노즐을 이용한 배기가스 재순환 장치의 형상에 따른 재순환 유동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to elucidate flue gas recirculation device for reduction of nitrogen oxides using coanda nozzle without adopting additional power driving fan in a waste incinerator. The characteristics of the exhaust gas recirculation flow rate and the average temperature change at the outlet of the mixed gas were investigated according to the change of air supply nozzle gap and the position of air supply nozzle. When the gap of the air supply nozzle was changed to 3.22, 4.03, and 4.84 mm, the largest recirculation flow ratio, which is the ratio of exhaust gas recirculation flow rate and air supply flow rate, was 2.227 for the case with 3.22 mm and its mean temperature at outlet was $594.8^{\circ}C$. When the position of the air supply nozzle changes to the front position, neck position, and expansion position of the coanda nozzle neck, the recirculation flow ratios at the forward position and the neck position were nearly almost the same value, 1.843, and 1.696 at the expansion position, their mean temperatures were $559.8^{\circ}C$ and $544.3^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • As combining the functions of a 2K-H B type differential gear unit and a V-belt type continuously variable unit(CVU), 16 different mechanisms are presented. Some useful theoretical formula related to speed ratio, power flow and efficiency are derived and analyzed. Continuously variable transmission(CVT) mechanisms are proposed, which can of ffr a backward mode, a geared neutral, an underdrive mode and an overdrive mode. They are not required of a starting device as a torque converter. CVT mechanisms developed here present two distinct operating modes which are a power circulation mode and a power split mode. The transition of two modes takes place at the particular CVU speed ratio. For these CVT mechanisms, performance analysis related to speed ratio, power ratio and theoretical efficiency are executed.

  • 산업공정에서 널리 사용하는 반응기는 성질이 상이한 물질을 혼합하는 시스템으로서 본 연구에서는 이젝터(ejector)에 의한 반응기의 개발을 수행하였다. 액체-가스 이젝터는 구동유체에 의하여 기체가 흡입되면서 각종 유해가스를 제거하는 목적 또는 기체와 액체의 혼합 등 목적으로 사용된다. 본 실험에서 액체구동 가스혼합반응기의 실험 장치를 구축하고 이젝터 내부의 유동패턴과 기체용해도 자료를 도출하며 고효율 이젝터 설계를 위한 진공도 측정과 디퓨저 각도가 다른 이젝터의 실험 및 수치해석을 수행하였다. 이젝터의 성능은 흡입 측에서의 진공압력으로 평가되며 이 진공압력은 이젝터의 노즐 설계 및 유동조건에 의하여 결정되므로 이에 대한 기본적인 특성 도출이 선결되어야 한다. 순환유체의 유량이 70LPM, 80LPM 90LPM조건에서 두 가지 디퓨저에 대하여 비교실험을 수행하였다. 실험적 연구와 수치해석연구를 통하여 혼합성능과 이젝터의 내부유동특성에 대하여 고찰한 결과 디퓨저의 각도가 5.0도일 때 진공도가 더욱 높으며 구동액체의 유량이 작을 때는 진공도차이가 크지만 유량이 증가함에 따라 진공도 차이가 감소된다. 구동액체의 유량이 증가할수록 용존산소농도는 증가하며 디퓨저의 각도가 5.0도일 때는 용존산소 농도가 더 높게 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

The Effects of Partially Premixed Pilot Injection Timing on the Combustion and Emission Characteristics in a Common Rail Diesel Engine (커먼레일식 디젤기관의 부분 예혼합 분사시기가 연소 및 배기특성에 미치는 영향)

  • An experimental study was performed to investigate the characteristics of combustion pressure and exhaust emissions when the pilot injection timing and EGR rate were changed in a CRDI 4-cylinder diesel engine. The pilot injection timing and EGR rate have a significant impact on the combustion and emission characteristics of diesel engine. In this study, the pilot injection timing and EGR rate variation were conducted to 2000rpm of engine speed with torque 50Nm. Combustion pressure and heat release rate were decreased under high EGR rate conditions but increased under the pilot injection timing $20^{\circ}$(BTDC). IMEP and the maximum pressure in cylinder(Pmax) were decreased under the same injection timing with the increase of EGR rate. The NOx emission was decreased with increasing the EGR rate. On the other hand, in the same injection timing conditions, CO, HC, $CO_2$ emissions were increased with increasing the EGR rate.

  • 최근 대두되고 있는 에너지 문제와 더불어 대체에너지 개발 및 에너지의 이용효율을 높이려는 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 수소에너지는 비 탄소계 연료로서 그 중요성에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 수소에너지를 이용하기 위한 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 수소는 재순환이 가능하고, 환경에 미치는 영향이 적기 때문에 미래형 에너지원으로 각광을 받고 있다. 수소이용 기술 중 연료 전지는 에너지 변환효율이 높고 유해 배출물이 생성되지 않아 차세대 발전시스템으로 유망하지만 비용과 기술적 제약으로 단기간에 상용화하기에는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 저비용, 고효율의 수소에너지를 이용 할 수 있는 시스템 개발이 요구되고 있다. 리니어동력/발전시스템은 저비용으로 제작이 가능하고 기존 기술의 인프라를 활용할 수 있는 장정과, 크랭크 기구가 없기 때문에 얻어지는 변환손실, 열손실을 최소화 할 수 있는 효율의 장점 때문에 고효율의 수소 이용 기관으로 평가되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수소이용 통력시스템의 직선운동을 전기적인 에너지로 변환 할 수 있는 고효율의 리니어 발전시스템 개발을 위해 Prototype의 평판형 및 원통형의 리니어발전기를 제작했고 각각의 성능에 대한 평가와 엔진과 발전기의 연계운전 결과를 비교하여 시스템 전체에 대한 성능예측을 했으며 연계운전을 통해 출력된 발전기의 출력파형을 PCS로 변환하여 정현파의 AC 출력을 얻었다.

  • Recently, as the needs for eco-friendly aero propulsion system increase gradually, many study works have been conducted to develop the hybrid propulsion system for High Altitude Long Endurance(HALE) UAV. In this study, we analyzed both suitable energy distribution and management methodology among the total energy collected from solar cell and the total required energy of aerial vehicle and required energy of the regenerative fuel cell(RFC) for driving in the night time and optimized the energy balance mechanism based on the ascribed mission profile.

  • Generally, the economic concept of optimized design and operating conditions in fluidized bed heat exchangers can hardly be realized. Because the lack of fundamental knowledge about the particle flows, the optimum design of the fluidized bed heat exchanger is rather limited. In the present work, measurements are made on pressure drops and friction factors in the horizontal circular tube with solid particles in the circulating water. Two different solid particles of diameters of 3mm and 4mm are covered. The Reynolds numbers are ranged from 10,000 to 45,000. It is concluded that the friction factors for the particles of 4mm diameter are much higher than those for the particles of 3mm diameter. And at the lower particle concentration, the friction factors are strongly influenced by the fluid velocity rather than the particle concentration; However, the effect of the particle concentration on friction factors is also significantly higher at a higher particle concentration operating condition.

  • HCCI engines fueled DME and natural gas have been studied on single-cylinder engine due to availability of reducing on $NO_X$ and PM simultaneously without deteriorating into high thermal efficiency, and thus it is clarified that higher maximum engine load is achieved as DME equivalence is smaller. In this study, combustion tests were accomplished on multi-cylinder engine for practical use of it. When minimum DME equivalence achieved maximum engine load on single-cylinder engine was applied to 4-cylinders engine, there was in unstable running condition that engine revolution fluctuated greatly and cyclically. It is the reason what misfire occurred intermittently with one the same as minimum DME equivalence on single-cylinder due to increase in energy for ignition at No. 1 cylinder with lower cylinder liner temperature. Maximum engine load was achieved by adopting EGR, though it decreased because of knocking at smaller engine load than single-cylinder due to increase in minimum DME equivalence.
