  • A map is defined as model of 3D spatial phenomena of the real world. Because most of the maps are represented on the 2D plane, limited information is provided. In consequence, applications are also limited with 2D maps and map users of various fields require 3D form of map. Without doubt, state-of-the-art information technology such as telematics and ubiquitous is location based system, therefore, role of the 3D mapping is getting more significant. It is obvious that 3D maps provide more visual perception than 2D maps. The main object of this stud)r is focused on generation of 3D digital maps in economical and efficient way using photogrammetrically compiled data. Topographic maps are required updating and revision in a certain period and the period is getting shorter Therefore, development of the map editing system is key issue for maintaining quality and updating of the maps to provide reliable geographic information. Special requirements should be taken account into 3D digital map editing. Therefore. design, configuration and functions of the editing system were explored.

  • Infrastructure engineering is a field that supports construction (assembly) as a representative industry that creates high added value and jobs by combining science and technology with knowledge, though its importance is underestimated. According to a report from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Korea), the value-added rate (65.3%) of the engineering industry and the employment inducement coefficient (14 employees per billion won) are three times higher than in manufacturing. In particular,the forward value chain (such as project management and basic design) accounts for less than 10~15% of the total project cost but determines the overall price and quality of the infrastructure facilities. In this study, a work break-down system, design support module and database development method for road design projects for design platform development is presented. Based on the presented development method, a cloud-based infrastructure design platform's prototype is developed. The developed infrastructure engineering platform is expected to provide a web-based design work environment without time/space restrictions and greatly contribute to winning overseas business orders and securing competitiveness.

The Evaluation on Accuracy of LiDAR DEM by Plotting Map (도화원도를 이용한 LiDAR DEM의 정확도 평가)

  • DEM(Digital Elevation Model) is used widely in image processing, water resources, construction, GIS, landscape architecture, telecommunication, military operations and other related areas. And it is used especially in producing ortho-photo based on specific DEM and developing 3D GIS database vividly. As LiDAR(Light and Detection And Ranging) system emerged recently, DEM could be developed in urban area more efficiently and more economically, compared to the conventional DEM Production. Traditional method using check points for elevation has tome limitations in structure's height accuracy by LiDAR, because it uses only terrain height. Accordingly after the downtown of Chungju city was selected as a test field in this paper and DEM and digital ortho images was produced by way of LiDar survey, the accuracy was evaluated through analytical plotting map. The result shows that in case of buildings in LiDAR DEM, the accuracy is 0.30 m in X, 0.62 m in Y and RMS is 1.17 m. The difference distribution between DEM and plotting map in range of $\pm$10 cm was 36.2% and $\pm$10 cm $\pm$20 cm was 43.53%. The accuracy of LiDAR in this study meets 1/5,000 which is the regulation for map of NGI(National Geography Institute) and LiDAR can be possibly used in many other applied area.

  • In order to accomplish the digital map production I/O devices should be used which are used for data input procedure to convert original paper map(hardcopy) data into computer compatible digital map data, and for the mapsheet output procedure of worked out data. For the input device, digitizer and scanner are most frequently used. Digitizer has possibility of direct production of digital data, and are mainly used for input procedure of partly plotted source map. In contrary, scanner is rather easy to operate the instrument, so that is widely used for the input procedure of original sheet map. In this study, to extract the input device characteristics, some kinds of digitizers and scanners were cheesed and used for the positional error analysis through the operational method and types of instruments. Also for the output device characteristics, some kinds of plotter and materials are used and compared to analyze the positional error through the instrumental types and output sheet materials.

  • 웹은 이제 우리 생활의 일부분이 되어 가고 있다. 많은 사람들이 웹을 이용하여 중요한 정보를 얻고 있으며, 이로 인하여 많은 콘텐츠들이 개발되고 있다. 그 중 학습을 목적으로 하는 교육 콘텐츠도 개발되고 있는데, 이러한 개발은 교육 및 훈련이 쉽고, 원하는 시간에 반복 학습이 가능하기 때문에 많이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 80C196KC를 학습하고자 하는 학생들의 이해를 돕기 위해 Flash와 Java를 이용해 교육 컨텐츠를 제작하였다.

  • 본 논문은 초소형 전기자동차용 Low voltage DC-DC Converter(LDC)의 고전력밀도화 기법을 제시한다. Sync-Buck 구조를 사용해 구조를 단순화하고, Planar 인덕터 적용, PCB와 방열 plate를 사용하여 PCB와 방열 기구물의 접촉면을 증대시킴으로써 전력밀도를 향상시킬 수 있음을 보인다. 500W(12V, 41.67A)급 시제품 제작 및 배터리 입력 조건인 58V~84V 영역에서 실험을 통해 제안한 기법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • Generally, there are two methods which generates the base map of Geo-Spatial Information System(GSIS). one is the digitizing of existing map, and the other is the analytical plotting method editing data acquired by sensors using computers. But the analytical plotting method and method of the digitizing of existing map is technically complex and has the disadvantages in the costs and time. The subject region of study(the Kwangyang province), was photographed by aircraft, and photographing scale was 1/6,000. Then this area was divided into two specific regions, the residential area, and the agricultural area. In this study, we developed the algorithm that generated base map of database in GSIS from the aerial photo. This algorithm is as followed. First, the digital aerial photos were generated using these aerial photos. Second, these digital aerial photos were enhanced by implementing the histogram equalization. Third, the objects of the enhanced images were extracted by implementing thresholding and edged detection techiques of image segmentation. Finally, these images could be used to updated the base map of database in GSIS. The result obtained from this study showed that method used by this study were more efficient than existing method in costs and time.

  • Eulsukdo located in the Nakdong Estuary plays important role in ecosystem and coastal wetland. There have been various changes in Eulsukdo up to now. Recently, we expect a great change of the western part of shoreline in Eulsukdo due to the floodgate construction but there is few databases. In this study, shorelines were digitized after we had produced the ortho-images by using aerial photos taken for 30 years(8 times). SCE, NSM and EPR were analysed by DSAS 4.2 program using vector data. In addition, the changes of shoreline were analysed in October 2011 from before Eulsukdo water gate construction to now by adding field surveying with VRS. The amount of years shoreline change is -0.34m/yr in 2009(before water gate construction) and -0.50m/yr in 2011(during the water gate construction), and the change trend shows an accumulation aspect.

  • 우리나라의 488개 유인도 중 강수량 부족 혹은 지하수의 수질문제 등으로 상습적 식수난을 겪고 있는 도서지역은 237개에 이르고 있다. 이들 도서지역은 생활용수를 우물, 간이상수도, 운반급수 등에 의존하고 있지만 이중 47%의 도서는 간이급수시설이 전무한 실정이다. 2015년에는 인천시 옹진군의 소청도, 대청도에 장기간 지속된 가뭄으로 식수원이 고갈되어 3일에 1시간으로 급수를 제한하였고 이로 인해 식수난 문제 외 관광산업의 소득저하 등의 문제가 발생되어 원활한 물공급문제가 해결되지 않으면 도서지역의 위기는 심각할 것으로 우려된다. 도서지역의 기본권인 먹는 물 문제를 해결하기 위해 정부 및 지자체에서는 소규모 유인도서에 해수담수화시설을 설치하여 유지관리 및 운영을 위한 인력을 배치하고 수동으로 조작하거나 단순 자동운전에 의해 운영 및 관리되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 해수담수화시설의 안정적이고 효율적인 운영을 위해 지능적 수운영 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 제어시스템, 감시시스템, 계측시스템 등의 ICT 기술과 연계하여 수요를 정확히 예측하고, 실시간 전력비용과 저류량, 사용량 등을 통합적으로 고려하였으며 적시정량을 생산하여 저장 및 공급하며, 목표수질과 수량을 원활하고 안정적으로 공급할 수 있도록 제어 및 감시를 통한 지능적 수운영을 목적으로 연구하였다. 데이터의 수집과 전송, 분석, 제어, 감시 활동이 유기적으로 결합되어 용수의 생산과 분배, 공급활동을 자동화함으로 운영상의 리스크를 줄여주며, 필요시 통합운영센터에서의 의사결정을 지원할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 향후, 해수담수화시설뿐이 아닌 일반 상수도 수운영에 있어서의 취수, 도수, 정수, 배수지관리, 송수, 관망관리까지 자동화된 시스템을 개발하여 지능적 운영관리가 가능하도록 알고리즘 모델 및 프로그램을 제시하고자 한다.
