  • Smart Device Communications using the development of anti-theft system for vehicles have been investigated. because Progress of Smart Device If someone get the Key for Vehicle theft, he can be easily stolen vehicle. We thought about the concept of dual security devices. Using vehicle's identifier ID of CAN, when Comparing Smat phone identifier ID value and identifier ID received from the Can in the Head, If the same ID is compared. At this point after the activity of the vehicle's ACC On/Off the system allows the vehicle's ignition.

  • Video digital door lock(VDDL) system detects people who access to the door and acquires the human image. Design considerations is that current consumption must be minimized by applying fast human detection algorithm because of battery-based operation. Since the digital door lock takes an image through a fixed camera, detection of a person based on background image leads to high degree of reliability. This paper deals with a single human detection algorithm suitable for VDDL with fulfilling these requirements such that it detects a moving object in an image, then identifies whether the object is a person or not using image processing. The proposed image processing algorithm consists of two steps: Firstly, it detects the human image region using both background image and skin color information. Secondly, it identifies the person using polar histogram based on proportional information of human body. Proposed algorithm is implemented in VDDL and is verified the performance through experiments.

  • Fear of contact exists due to the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. When using the common entrance door of an apartment, access is possible only if the resident enters a password or obtains the resident's permission. There is the inconvenience of having to manually enter the number and password for the common entrance door to enter. Also, contactless entry is required due to COVID-19. Due to the development of ICT, users can be easily identified through the development of face recognition and voice recognition technology. The proposed method detects a visitor's face through a CCTV or camera attached to the common entrance door, recognizes the face, and identifies it as a registered resident. Then, based on the registered information of the resident, it is possible to operate without contact by interworking with the elevator on the server. In particular, if face recognition fails with a hat or mask, the visitor is identified by voice or additional authentication of the visitor is performed based on the voice message. It is possible to block the spread of contagiousness without leaving any contactless function and fingerprint information when entering and exiting the front door of an apartment house, and without the inconvenience of access.

  • The traditional way for convergence of smart appliances was software integrations on middleware. It is possible advantage to integrate easily and quickly with this way. But basically the middleware approach is slowly executed as it is huge the size of software. To solve this problem, we suggest a modeling tool for convergence. As we can execute and generate the automatic source code at the design phase with our modeling tool, it is possible to do software integration without the middleware. We use one example of U-Home environment to show the convergence for TV and the door lock system. With our approach, we will be able quickly to develop the convergent products what the customers desire with inexpensiveness, that is, the convergence of smart appliances without the middleware.

  • This paper proposes a real-time face recognition system which detects multiple faces from low resolution video such as web-camera video. Face recognition system consists of the face detection step and the face classification step. At First, it finds face region candidates by using AdaBoost based object detection method which have fast speed and robust performance. It generates reduced feature vector for each face region candidate by using principle component analysis. At Second, Face classification used Principle Component Analysis and multi-SVM. Experimental result shows that the proposed method achieves real-time face detection and face recognition from low resolution video. Additionally, We implement the auto-tracking face recognition system using the Pan-Tilt Web-camera and radio On/Off digital door-lock system with face recognition system.

  • The purpose of this study is to prevent the malicious user from breaking the door-lock due to physical impact. If it matches the analog displacement value set in the door-lock system, it protects the body and property by transmitting damage information in real time to the manager smart phone. The research suggests a system that transmits damage information in real time to registered users when door-lock is damaged by physical impact. Then compare the impact information sensed by the door lock with the data of the sensitivity control unit. In the web server of the proposed system, after impact information transmitted from Door-Lock is stored in the DB, if the impact information is larger than the shock detection transmission reference value stored in the DB, it is transmitted to the administrator in real time by SMS module so that illegal access information.

  • In this paper, we propose an IoT based smart outlet system for one-person household with electric safety, electric energy consumption management and transmission of messages to the reserved contacts by connecting the emergency network. The proposed smart outlet system is implemented by parsing packet data and protocol between server, module, application and WiFi AP receiver. The WiFi AP built for communication can be used not only for the outlet but also for the gas barrier, the door lock and the like. In addition, the proposed method can provide the remote monitoring function by receiving the amount of power of the receptacle received through the AC current sensor (SCT-013) in real time. The smart outlet system is expected to be capable of automatically shutting off the power in case of emergency through automatic power use analysis in addition to the standby power cutoff function.

  • Existing face detection systems, which are used for digital door locks, digital cameras, video surveillance systems, and so on, are software-based implementation for relatively low level resolution images. Therefore, in this case, there are difficulties in detecting faces in a real-time fashion due to the increasing amount of operational processing as well as in allowing the requirements of face detections for HD(High Definition) resolutions. A hardware approach is necessary to efficiently find faces for HD images in real-time embedded systems. This paper proposes and implements a hardware architecture for an LBP(Local Binary Pattern) operation which is a time-consuming part as one of preprocessing steps for face detection. The hardware architecture proposed in this research has been implemented and tested with a FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) chip, and shown that the approach guarantees efficient face detection for HD images.

  • Smart Home or Home Network technology is one that continuously creates added value, making a better life. This paper designed and developed a smart home control system using smart phone. This proposed smart home system consists of home server control system, remote smart application system and home node structure. Home node structure, in detail, is composed of intrusion detection, gas leakage or gas valve control, door lock, automatic curtain, ventilation control and On/Off control modules and these modules are controlled at home server. Home server makes it easy to control home automatic control system anytime, anywhere as it provides remote interface that enables control via smartphone and user interface in itself.

  • With the spread of IoT technology, various IoT applications using facial recognition are emerging. This paper describes the design and implementation of a remote control system using deep learning-based face recognition and hand gesture recognition. In general, an application system using face recognition consists of a part that takes an image in real time from a camera, a part that recognizes a face from the image, and a part that utilizes the recognized result. Raspberry PI, a single board computer that can be mounted anywhere, has been used to shoot images in real time, and face recognition software has been developed using tensorflow's FaceNet model for server computers and hand gesture recognition software using OpenCV. We classified users into three groups: Known users, Danger users, and Unknown users, and designed and implemented an application that opens automatic door locks only for Known users who have passed both face recognition and hand gestures.
