Development of Infra-red system for temperature measurement of sub units of urban train (도시철도차량 하부장치 온도 측정용 적외선 방사온도계 개발 및 시험방법에 관한 연구)

  • The abnormally high temperature of the train part is related to train accidents and monitoring is important for safe operation of trains. In case of KTX an abnormality detecting device that detects the abnormality of the axle and scans the urban railway is installed on the railroad and when there is an abnormal heat generation, a system for automatically informing the control center is installed. The IR sensors module used in this system are depend on quick response. we have conducted a study on the fast response test method through the production of experimental equipments.

  • 현재 각 도시철도 운영기관이 사용하고 있는 부품코드체계는 구 정부물품 분류체계 11자리를 수요한 코드체계로의 군, 급의 2단계 분류로 구성되어 있어, 분류단계의 제약이 존재할 뿐만 아니라 분류체계의 구조적 문제로 군, 급, 품명의 빈번한 통합, 삭제에 따른 코드 관리의 어려움이 존재하고 있다. 또한, 사용자가 원하는 물품을 해당 분류체계로 찾아가기 위한 그룹별 탐색과 통계적 분석이 불가능한 실정이다. 이러한 분류체계의 문제점과 향후 차종의 노후화로 발생될 관리품목의 증가로 업무능률 저하가 예상되기 때문에 새로운 체계의 표준화된 부품코드체계가 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 본 논문은 산업 발전에 따르는 확장성과 세분화에 대한 분류구조의 탄력성을 가지고 객관적으로 분류 추가 및 변경이 가능하도록 하고, 정부 및 국제기관 표준권고안과 호환성을 가질 수 있는 표준 부품코드체계를 제정하기 위한 연구결과이다.

  • An Electric railway system has the characteristics. The train powered by substations generates regenerative power when it runs on railway of various slope. A regenerative braking is an ideal system on account of reducing mechanical braking as well as recycling the energy. This study dealt with the line gradient review, train running records and power data out of substations in a bid to establish the efficient regenerative energy storage system.

  • Subway is used as a useful transportation method to solve the metropolitan traffic problem for its advantages of being not only accurate, safe and massive, but also of not producing any exhaustion gas in compare with the other ground transportation systems. However, noise inside the car due to concrete based rail track and tunnel structure has become a social problem. So, an analysis on the noise characteristics according to their routes and locations was made on the basis of the actually measured results from the trial run. To reduce the interior noise of subway train, the side part of rolling stock should have a noise blocking system fur low band frequency noise, the floor of it should have that for medium range frequency noise and the side part as well as lower part of it should have good noise reduction and absorption function.

  • By legislating safety regulations for design, manufacturing and operation of rolling stock through rolling stock safety law, diverse of safety requirements have been established. On the other hands, differences of technical level in practical circumstances between domestic and overseas are pointed out that not be able to be overcome in short period. About collision safety requirements for rolling stock, European countries have been applying TSI requirement to all of rolling stock and domestic collision safety requirements in rolling stock safety law are based on TSI. In following thesis, it is showing an analysis simulation for current rubber cushion and hydraulic buffer system to verify if they are fit to collision safety requirements and result of the simulation program for prior verification. This also suggests a method to prove the performances of coupler system for future.

  • 철도차량의 동력원은 화석연료를 사용하던 디젤차량에서 최근 고속전철 및 도시철도차량, 경량전철 등 전기를 주 동력원으로 사용되고 있다. 철도차량에 전기를 공급하는 시스템은 일반적으로 개활지 등 지상구간에 적용되고 있는 가공전차선 방식과 지하구간, 터널 등에 적용되고 있는 강체가선방식 그리고 경량전철 등에 채용되고 있는 제 3궤조방식이 있다. 최근에는 일반적으로 지하구간의 가선시스템에 적용되던 T-Bar방식의 강체가선 방식에서 탈피하여 고속주행이 가능한 R-Bar방식의 강체가선 방식에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 최근까지 지하구간의 터널구조에서 강체전차선로를 급전시스템으로 채택할 경우 열차의 최고속도는 국내의 경우 90km/h, 국외의 경우 160km/h를 넘지 못하는 실정이었다. 그러나 이를 극복한 제품이 개발되어 열차운행 최고속도를 200~250km/h까지 향상시킬 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 최근 설계속도 250km/h 급 R-bar방식 강체전차선로 인터페이스를 위한 이선현상 모의 시뮬레이터 개념 설계에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 집전성능과 관계가 있는 전기철도차량 이선현상 요인 및 영향 분석하였으며 강체전차선로 운행에 따른 이선 등으로 인한 영향을 고찰하기 위해 이선 현상 모의 시뮬레이터 개념 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다.

Crashworthiness Analysis of the Urban Maglev Vehicle according to Korean Railway Safety Law and Urban Transit Safety Law (철도안전법과 도시철도안전법을 적용한 도시형 자기부상열차의 충돌안전도 해석)

  • This paper studied on the application of the crashworthiness regulations of Korean Railway Safety Law and Urban Transit Safety Law to the urban Maglev vehicle of KIMM. The Urban Maglev vehicle has to comply with the crashworthiness regulations for urban transit vehicles. The collision load cases have been simulated by using explicit finite element analysis. From the numerical results, the crashworthiness regulations of the Urban Transit Safety Law were completely satisfied, but maximum crash pulse requirement in 25 km/h crash event and no plastic deformation requirement in 10 km/h crash event in the Korean Railway Safety Law were not. If a commercial urban Maglev vehicle is developed in the near future, it is necessary that some soft buffing and energy absorbing devices are adopted in its front end so as to satisfy the crashworthiness regulations of the Korean Railway Safety Law.

  • Maglev guideway is expected to be a new public transportation for future because of its environmental and special characteristics. Recently, Korean government initiated an urban maglev project to build a commercial line in Incheon International Airport by year 2012. For practical use of UTM02, it is essential not only to verify the performances of the vehicle but also to formulate the design rules of Maglev Guideway. In this paper, maglev guideway is analyzed by Finite Element Method and then obtained dynamic characteristics such as displacements, acceleration and impact factor.

A Statistical Study on Doorway Flow-time for Designing Doors of Ui LRT (우이-신설 경전철 출입문 설계를 위한 승하차시간 분석 연구)

  • This paper presents an analysis of door design for the Ui LRT based on experiments to predict doorway flow-time and their analyses results. A similar railway vehicle (from Gimhae LRT) and operational conditions are utilized to assess the doorway flow-time through repetitive experiments. Design of the experiments consists of four scenarios, and the experiments are repeated 39 times in total. We use the results of the experiments to verify the design of doors of Ui LRT (e.g. the required number of doors and their width). Various statistical analyses are carried out for the flow-time with respect to the number of boarding/alighting passengers. We make three category levels of boarding/alighting passengers, and analyze the mean and variance for each category, and then carry out One-Way ANOVA to analyze how the number of boarding/alighting and onboard passengers impact flow-time. The results of this paper can be used for making decisions about doors of the LRT vehicle.

Analysis on the Dynamic Behavior according to Suspension Structure of the Urban Railway Vehicle (전동차 현가구조에 따른 동적거동특성 분석)

  • Urban railroad vehicles carry many passengers and are the core of an urban railroad transportation system. Therefore, the dynamic performance of the vehicle must be ensured. Dynamic behaviors such as the vibration and ride comfort of railway vehicles are affected by the structure of the suspension system. We analyzed the dynamic behavior of a railway vehicle according to the suspension system of an urban railway vehicle, which is mainly operated in Korea. For two types of vehicles with different suspension structures, the vibration of the vehicles on railway tracks was measured, and dynamic behavior characteristics such as vibration, ride, and vibration reduction rate were analyzed. The result of the test shows that the vibration performance of the body is superior to that of B-bogie in the lateral direction and that of A-bogie in the vertical direction. Overall, the ride quality of the A-bogie car is superior to that of B-bogie. When analyzing the vibration attenuation rate of primary suspension system, the vibration attenuation performance of B-bogie with coil spring was superior to that of A-bogie with a conical rubber spring. The secondary suspension system has better vibration attenuation performance for A-bogie with air springs compared to coil springs.
