Developments of monitoring system to measure sound absorbing coefficient and structural stability of sound absorbing panel on the concrete track in the urban train tunnel (도시철도 터널 내부 콘크리트 도상 국소공명흡음판의 흡음계수 및 구조안정성 평가를 위한 계측시스템 개발)

  • In this study, a test-bed system simulated a tunnel and concrete track is tested on cite and invested an allowed limit of multi-layered sound absorbing panel for reducing noise reflected on the concrete track in train tunnel considering the criteria and limitation on the theoretical back ground. The studied results are an effective evaluating system of the sound absorbing coefficient influenced fluid effects depending on the vehicle speed in the urban train tunnel and measuring not only structural behaviors of maximum displacement and acceleration of the panel but also dynamic characteristics of damping ratio and natural frequency.

  • It is very important that reduce the maintenance cost and extend life time of the urban transit EMU through effective maintenance method research. The maintenance cost of the urban transit EMU shares 60%~70% of it's life cycle cost. It means that the maintenance cost is bigger than the introduction cost of the urban transit EMU. In this study, I introduces a quality control technique to improve the urban transit vehicle reliability. I suggest the control chart using quality control technique. And the control charts apply to the Static Inverter of EMU.

  • The hydraulic brake system is recently apply to the AGT system such merit as installation is convenient and brake force is stronger than pneumatic brake system. The hydraulic brake system consist of brake operating unit, electronic control unit, air compressor and pneumatic/hydraulic tranducer. The components of it are controlled and designed to perform the function of brake system. Therefore, This paper design and the hydraulic brake system and propose the derection of development for Urban Transit System.

  • This purpose of this paper is to perform the readhesion control algorithm of the urban railway traction. A study on readhesion control algorithm is done for the adhesion system. This system has all characteristics of the voltage source converter by a process ability to regenerate power. The traction motor is controlled by IGBT inverter. The test equipment composes traction motor, torque-meter, clutch, and a tubular type of interia mass.

  • An urban railway vehicle has a characteristics such as that a lot of passenger use it and the major of passenger is standee. The ride comfort of standee is greatly influenced by the lateral dynamic characteristics of vehicle. So the lateral vibration is important factor for the improvement of ride comfort. In this study, vibration test of railway vehicle is carried out under the same condition of field driving to find out the major factor of vibration. By considering the test results under the various driving condition, the vibrational characteristics of vehicle is verified.

  • In Korea, the interior design of urban electric railcar has been changed based on the requirements of railway operation company. However, most of the designs are similar to Japanese style owing to the Japanese technical cooperation in early stage of manufacturing in Korea. In order to present the direction of interior design of Korean electric railcar, we have investigated and analyzed the interior design of Japanese electric railcar.

  • Since PSD(Platform Screen Door) is set up at many subway stations, its design related to a safety becomes gradually important. Especially the intereference check with a running railway vehicle is the most important of performance indices. This study proposes a dynamic analysis models for the railway vehicle and rail. Some design parameters are considered in the models to find a correlation to the performance.

  • This paper describes EDM testing, Magnetic particle testing and Ultrasonic testing results of carbody structure for EMU. Carbodys are subject to vibration, impact and wear which can cause severe defects leading to a fatal accident. The purpose of the test is to prove the endurance of Korean EMU for the commercial operation.
