The purpose of this study aims to provide possible suggestions for the improvement of the literature classification number system as the search and browsing device on the library homepage. After analyzing and evaluating literature classification number system as the search and browsing device on the homepage of library adopting DDC, suggestions for the improvement were proposed. For the purpose of maximizing the effectiveness of literature classification number system as the browsing device, DDC third summary(the thousand section) which is suited to domestic circumstances was prepared.

지식정보사회로 불리는 21세기는 필요한 정보와 지식을 검색 수집 활용하여 문제를 해결하고 새로운 정보를 창출할 수 있는 자율적이고 창의적인 인재를 요구하고 있다. 이러한 사회적 요구와 자기 주도적 학습을 위한 자료 제공 중심 교육환경의 공간으로 학교 도서관을 선정하였다. 본 연구는 DLS II 기반 도서관 홈페이지를 활용한 국어과 수행평가 개발 자료 개발 및 적용을 통해 교육정보화에 따른 학교도서관 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

웹을 기반으로 한 정보서비스는 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며 2013년부터는 모든 법인이 웹 접근성을 준수해야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 전문도서관은 홈페이지를 통해 소속 구성원뿐만 아니라 외부 이용자에게도 홈페이지에서 제공하는 모든 정보에 접근할 수 있도록 보장해야한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 전문도서관 홈페이지의 외부 이용자 웹 접근성 수준의 실태를 조사하고 향후 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구는 육군대학 도서관 홈페이지의 웹서버에 저장되어 있는 로그파일을 실험 데이터로 사용하여, 기존 데이터마이닝(data mining)의 기법들 중에서 연관규칙(association rules) 탐사 기법을 적용함으로써, 사용자들의 웹 항행에 대한 순차패턴을 추출하였다. 이를 분석하여 실제 사용자들이 효과적으로 사용할 수 있는 웹사이트 디자인을 제안하고 나아가 대상 웹사이트의 사용편의성을 평가하였다.

Web accessibility refers to the practice of providing equal access to web sites to people without and with disability. This study aims to investigate the web content accessibility of 153 university libraries in Korea, and further suggest the approach to implement an effective university library web site to meet Korean Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(KWCAG). Survey was conducted with two steps. The first step was to find out the general level of web accessibility of all university library web sites using an automatic appraisal tool, KADO-WAH2.0, and the detailed examination of web accessibility check items was limited to 19 web sites which proved excellent in automatic appraisal. Regretfully, the result says that there is no perfect web site. Therefore every university library is advisable to make good use of the findings to meet all the requirements of KWCAG. In particular, the basic requirements, such as voice service, resizing and highlighting text, must be fulfilled by priority and to almost all contents.

본 연구는 디지털도서관 이용자들의 정보 이용형태를 LG상남도서관 사례를 중심으로 WWW 홈페이지를 이용한 온라인 설문조사와 이용 통계를 참조하여 도서관 가입과 회원제 운영, 디지털도서관 인지도 및 이용 현황, 이용 목적, 정보 서비스 개선, 정보 이용과 저작권료 문제 등과 학술잡지 이용률과 JCR의 Impact Factor 및 구독 금액과의 상관 관계를 분석하고자 한다.

In the knowledge and information society, there is an increasing importance of information, being unable to access this information becomes a huge disadvantage. Blind and visually impaired users who are using assistant equipment such as screen readers are the very class that is having trouble accessing the web content that public libraries provide. In this research 10% of each region's libraries were picked as a research sample. Most of the web content that the public libraries provided did not meet the Internet web content accessibility guidelines as a Korean standard. Also evaluation into web accessibility by the visually impaired was also low. This research suggests some solutions for libraries to reduce the disadvantages that are put upon visually impaired people from various views such as perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Nowadays the information environment enables users to access the traditional library collection as well as various digital information resources. In this rapidly changing environment, the use of digital information resources such as web sites, data, and homepages has increased. In this research, highly-cited authors' research outcomes as well as the research outcomes of the people, who cited the highly-cited authors' works, were extracted then compared with information stored in the medical colleges' digital libraries and the academic information portals in the clinical medicine area by using the citation information provided by Essential Science Indicators from ISI Web of knowledge. Out of 10,000 authors,146 people's homepages, which present research outcomes, were analyzed. The research outcomes listed in the homepages included journal papers, monographs, conference proceedings, and lecture notes. About 15% of the journal papers, 32% of the monographs, 48% of the conference proceedings, and 100% of lecture notes were accessible only through the homepages. The research outcomes accessible from the homepages were almost analogous to the ones available through the medical college's digital libraries and the academic information portals. Therefore, the digital library collection will be improved and expanded quantitatively and qualitatively by collecting and using the information in the homepages of the prestigious researchers.
