Gaesung was the Mecca of Korean ginseng. Factors that Gaesung has been a leading brand of Korean ginseng were multiplicative. Those were natural conditions and huge commercial capital, red ginseng factory, creative business systems and etc. We can quote BongSang Son, SungHak Kong and JeongHo Kim as a famous Gaesung' ginseng merchants. They, as leaders modern ginseng industry had supplied the method of cultivation, prevention of phyto-diseases, excellent ginseng seed, and prepayment system of farming capital. The Gaesung merchants also adopted modern marketing techniques : commercial advertisement, made-order sales, changing package of the ginseng products. The book 'The Dictionary of Korean Companies and Stores' which was published in 1927 introduces BongSang Son as a great businessman in Gaesung. He was not only merchants but also educator and social worker. He practiced the spirit of entrepreneurship. BongSang Son's role of pioneer contributed to the development of Korean ginseng and Gaesung. Due to such efforts of Gaesung merchants, Korean ginseng industry were took a great step forward. This article considered the development of Korean ginseng industry through the life and achievement of the ginseng magnate BongSang Son who was a representative one of Gaesung merchants.
Today when an age of unlimited competition is being ushered in, we are witnessing a Domino phenomenon driving many companies into insolvency due to the control of IMF bailout program and national management crisis. Amid such an extreme vortex, our companies are struggling hared to survive the crisis. As it is, it is very difficult for domestic companies to invest their capitals in the development of new technologies as they did in the past. Particularly, as knowhow or information regarding new technologies or products are databased or computerized enough to allow for its easier sharing or transmission, the conventional competitive edges are being dismissed more and more. Under such circumstances, the industrial design may be the best strategy or means for domestic companies to surmount their management crisis. For an industrial design may help to create a higher added value with a shouter-term investment or effort than other types of research and development efforts. In order to realize such a higher added value of the industrial design with a shorter-term investment, it is required to establish an educational system which can continue to supply the quality design professionals armed with sense of creativity and practical applicability. Only when such an educational system has been established, our companies can afford to advance into the world markets with their unique designs produced by their professional designers. With such a basic conception in mind, this study was aimed at providing for the data useful to establishment of a scientific and systematic industrial design education system or the prerequisite for development of our industrial designs. To this end, the educational system of domestic and foreign college design departments were investigated and analyzed, while researcher's experience at a design department of Yuhan college (hereunder called 'Y' college) were used. Based on the results of investigation and analysis, marketing strategies for design departments are put forwards together with a new pedagogic method of bringing up professional industrial designers through reinforcement of the design department curriculum.

As it makes trouble between pay user and free user, and it linked up with the collapse of game contents balance that designed for FPP billing system, And then meet unexpected result which reduction of game life cycle. In this Paper, we classified several contents services based on game contents, and suggested contents premium services which adopted low cost strategy lead to micro payment. we hope it will apply to late movers' new billing system in MMORPG.
Parasites of freshwater fishes in Cheju-do were studied from May 1989 to April 1990, and incidence of infection in 16 fish species was reported. Protozoan parasites (Trichodina sp., Chilodonella sp., Ichthyophthirius sp., Vorticella sp., Myxidium sp., Myxobolus sp., Henneguya sp:, Ichthyobodo sp., and Trychophrya sp.), water mold (Saproregnia sp.), two monogenes (Dactylogyrus sp. and Gyrodactylogyrus sp.), Trematods, Cestods, Nematods, Acanthocephalas, parasitic copepods(Lernaea sp. and Pseudergasilus sp.) and a Hirudinea were recognized as freshwater fish parasites in Cheju-do. Trichodina sp. showed the highest infection rate (18.3%). Fifty seven individual fishes out of 311 were infected by this parasite. Nematods showed the second highest infection rate (13.5%). Dactylogyrus sp., Acanthocephalas, and Trematods showed the third (4.8%), fourth (4.2%), and fifth (2.6%) infection rate respectively. Of the 16 fish species Cryptocentrus filifer (Gobiidae) showed the highest infection rate. Nineteen fish out of 28 have Trichodina sp., and 14 fish out of 28 have Nematods. Those infection rates were 67.9% and 50.0% respectively. No parasites were collected from the fishes of Gwangryung vally, Dosoon-chun, Gangjeong-chun, and Hyodon-chun.
An experiment was carried out in order to reveal the infection species of trematode and the infection demage in the marine bivalves. Metacercaria of Echinostomatidae were found in Mactra veneriformis, Cyclina sinensis and Solen strictus in the vicinity sea of Naecho-do, the estuary of the Keum River in the western coast of Korea. The metacercaria detected from Solen strictus were fed by Larus crassiostris, at 16 days after infection, the adult worm could be seceded. The metacercaria of Himasthla kusasigi were detected from Mactra veneriformis and Cyclina sinensis, their infection rates were 70.4% and 85.7% respectively. The partial infection rates with respect to the body parts were 40.4% and 77.3% in the foot, 17.0% and 12.4% in the gill, 12.6% and 10.3% in the mantle in order. The metacercaria of Acanthoparyphium were found from Solen strictus. The total infection rate was 63% and the partial infection rate was 63% and the partial infection rate was shown foot, mantle and gill in order. The adult worm ceded from Larus crassiostris was indentified as Acanthoparyphium tyosenensis Yamaguti, 1938 from view point of its physical characteristics. Therefore, Mactra veneriformis, Cyclina sinensis would be added as new intermediate hosts, and Echoinostoma decteded from Mactra sulcataria which was studied by author(1969) was revealed as larvae of Acanthoparyphium tyosenensis.
Prediction of corporate failure using past financial data is a well-documented topic. Early studies of bankruptcy prediction used statistical techniques such as multiple discriminant analysis, logit and probit. Recently, however, numerous studies have demonstrated that artificial intelligence such as neural networks can be an alternative methodology for classification problems to which traditional statistical methods have long been applied. In building neural network model, the selection of independent and dependent variables should be approached with great care and should be treated as model construction process. Irrespective of the efficiency of a teaming procedure in terms of convergence, generalization and stability, the ultimate performance of the estimator will depend on the relevance of the selected input variables and the quality of the data used. Approaches developed in statistical methods such as correlation analysis and stepwise selection method are often very useful. These methods, however, may not be the optimal ones for the development of neural network model. In this paper, we propose a genetic algorithms approach to find an optimal or near optimal input variables fur neural network modeling. The proposed approach is demonstrated by applications to bankruptcy prediction modeling. Our experimental results show that this approach increases overall classification accuracy rate significantly.

The objective of this study is to find the failure factors of venture companies. We analyze 210 troubled venture companies, all of which have been under guarantee from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation over the last three years. Methods of analysis for failure factors are as follows. First, we categorize the failure factors into the four different types based on growth and profitability indicators in the financial statements of targeted venture companies. Then we analyzed the failure factors of the subject companies based on the troubled guarantee reports made by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation. If a venture company under its guarantee program falls into insolvency, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation make the troubled guarantee report to find out the failure factors and evaluate the recovery potentials. We identify 374 failure factors of venture companies through the analysis. The most prominent among them are deteriorating of business environments (79 factors) and decreasing or withdrawing orders from major suppliers (54 factors) due to bankruptcies or change in business plans. They are followed by slowing collection of accounts receivable (31 factors), dropping or frozen product price (24 factors) due to intensifying competition and escalating pressures from major suppliers, rising raw material costs both at home and abroad (21 factors). In addition, the nuclear power plant disaster in Japan, shut-down of the Kaesong Industrial Complex and subsequent lawsuits, delay in technology development projects, high cost-low efficiency management structure, etc., are also revealed as new factors causing trouble for venture companies.
Enterprise which is rapidly growing in Korea is hesitating because of economic depression lately. Large enterprise have been successfully growing with Korea economic growth for fifty years. But many of them have already gone bankrupt and face the crisis of management, many people look away from them. Large enterprise come to face the time which they strongly need the improvement of their image against the devalation of their one. It is more important to use external periodicals than excess PR advertisement for the improvement of the image. External periodicals is aimed at readers who is outside of company and company PR advertisement, the purpose of issuing external periodicals is to improve the image of enterprise by arranging organization, draw attention from people (PR) and produce profit by acceleration marketing. People is much interested in external periodicals(free) under the situation of IMF because they can easily get information from that. So the role of external periodicals become more important for enterprise PR. This paper shows the importance of the edit design in external periodicals. We analysed the edit design (five group) per composition factor, suggest the improvement plan. ·The distinction of cover. ·Clear, beautiful typographic arrangement. ·The specialty of Photo and illustration. · Characteristic & standard layout. Now external periodicals is getting important because it shows the idea and character of company to people (PR). So it need characteristic plan and creative layout with the impotance by the understanding of the executive in company and also more does creation & originality by edit designer day by day. External periodicals should be not only the improvement of the image but also leading information paper which sensitively cope which an age by news and editing which can match people's need.
The study area, Beulgok-myon Nonsan-goon Chungcheongnan-do is consist of Changri slate(Och, okcheon system), lithic tuff(Kslt, kyoungsang system), granite (Kqb, kyoungsang system) and quartz porphyry(Kgf, kyoungsang system). More than 3000 joints were measured and classified by direction. Main dipdirection/dips of Kqb are 228~257/73~88, 010~150/70~85, Och are 134~164/40~90, 214~249/55~89, Kslt are 291~332/75~82, 235~241/73~71. But Kgf are not appeared distinct directions of joint. In field, p-wave velocities(Vp) are measured on the bed rock. Vp of Kgf are $5000m(240^{\circ})~2380(360^{\circ})m/s$, Kqb are $3846(210^{\circ})~1408(150^{\circ})m/s$, Kslt are $5000(360^{\circ})~2323(150^{\circ})m/s$ and Och are $6657(180^{\circ})~2000(030^{\circ})m/s$. Also P-wave velocities on specimen are measured. It is slightely higher than it's measured on the bed rock. For engineering properties of rock, we measured Poisson's ratio, rigidity, Young's modulus and bulk modulus by dynamic method.

Wedding shops, which had been located in Jung-gu, Jongno-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu in 1990, have been shown a rapid change in light of location since the year of 1995. Thus, most of shops are concentrated on Gangnam-gu in 2010. Wedding dress shops in Gangnam-gu were distributed between Kanglim Church and Apgujeong station in the early 1990s, and then moved gradually to Dosan park and then to Cheongdam-dong after passing through Hakdong intersection. Luxury image in Cheongdam-dong was the main reason for integration of wedding businesses. This intergration of shops showed the peak at the Cheongdam intersection. A motive of having come to start business in Cheongdam-dong was selected the high awareness and image in district, and was taken the ease for business-based cooperation and connection. High rent and inconvenient transportation were reasons for dissatisfaction. The business-based cooperation and connection were mostly formed through a consulting company. Level and reputation of relevant shops were important elements. Even the connective and associative shops are located the most in Cheongdam-dong followed by Nonhyeon-dong, Shinsa Apgujeong-dong in order. The cluster relationship was most noticeable in wedding studio, wedding dress, wedding consulting, and hanbok(Korean traditional clothes) business. Frequency of vertical cluster was indicated to be more than horizontal cluster. User behavior of wedding businesses in Seoul has been collecting wedding information through internet and wedding consulting business.
