Analysis of Nonlinear Behavior and Reliability of PSSC Composite Girder Bridge (PSSC 합성거더 교량의 비선형 거동 분석 및 신뢰도 해석)

  • Member force, strain and stress distribution of a section are obtained for prestressed steel and concrete(PSSC) composite bridge subjected to dead and live load in order to interpret the effect of prestressing and deformation of tendon. The stress and strain distribution and moment capacity are obtained for both noncomposite and composite section and for allowable stress limit state, yield limit state and strength limit state. Reliability analysis is conducted after assuming limit states for deflection, stress and flexural strength. Comparing that the reliability index for stress is near 0 for example section which is designed to satisfy the allowable stress exactly, the reliability indexes for deflection and flexural strength are high. Reliability of PSSC girder which is designed based on allowable stress of bridge design code is high for deflection and flexural strength.

  • A growing number of larger and bigger tunnels are being constructed, along with the continuing enhancement of road design speed, thereby increasing the frequency of vehicles using tunnels. For such reasons, a fire in tunnels may lead to such situations. Gases and heat caused by fires are to be blamed for such disasters, as well as the development of vehicles leads to the construction of large tunnels. Therefore this study is to provide for the safety of public and rescue personnel in the event of a fire within the tunnel system. For these purpose, the tunnel system must be protected from collapse during a specified time period. This study introduced the role of ITA, it is to developed guidelines for techniques and materials to answer these structural requirements and make tunnels and their ancillary structures more resistant to fire damage.

  • In case of repeated wheel-loads are acted on subbase course material, field test is generally executed to get the design standard, but the study shows dynamic properties of soils especially under repeated loads, which have not been well known to us. We try not only to obtain yield stress and elastic modulus of soil in terms of rheological model interpretation but also to investigate the influence of the repeated loads. Yield stress of soil induces hardening until approaching critical value along with the increase in number of cycle, whereas the change in modulus of elasticity with respect to the number of cycle greatly depends on the strength of repeated stress, if weak in strength of repeated stress, the modulus of elasticity increases along with the number of cycle, while if strong, it tends to decrease.

Local Buckling Behaviors of Flat-Type Stiffeners in Stiffened Plate System (보강판시스템에 적용되는 판형보강재의 국부좌굴거동)

  • Elastic and nonlinear ultimate strength analyses were conducted to examine the effects of the stiffness and slenderness of flat-type stiffeners on ultimate in-plane strengths of a stiffened plate system. Although it is not feasible to consider local buckling in the stiffeners in elastic analysis, it was confirmed that the in-plane strengths of the stiffened plate system can be achieved by antisymmetric buckling mode when a certain level of stiffness in the stiffeners is provided. Nonlinear ultimate strength analysis, in which initial imperfection and residual stress are incorporated, showed that the ultimate strengths are sensitively affected by the mode shapes for initial imperfections. The slenderness limit for flat-type stiffeners in KHBDC (Korean Highway Bridge Design Code) was evaluated as conservative compared to the analysis results.

  • 국내는 1960년대부터 시작된 급속한 산업화 및 도시화로 인해 하천 환경이 지속적으로 오염 및 훼손되어 왔다. 하천을 관리함에 있어서 치수목적을 중심으로 한 직강화와 콘크리트 제방과 더불어 하천변의 공간이 주차장이나 도로로 사용되었다. 또한, 하천의 홍수피해 방지, 도심의 택지 및 농경지 등의 토지 확보를 위한 대규모 하천정비사업으로 인해 과거 자연상태의 하천은 홍수터 내 저류능력 상실, 생태환경공간 훼손 등으로 하천의 자연적 환경 기능이 매우 악화된 상황이다. 최근 들어 치수 기능만을 위한 공학적 효율 위주의 하천관리 정책에서 벗어나 하천의 환경적 기능의 개선, 자연하천으로의 생태복원사업이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 하천의 특성을 고려하지 않은 무분별한 복원공법의 적용결과 호안의 안정성이 고려되지 않은 복원사업들이 진행되기도 한다. 진정한 자연하천으로의 복원은 하천기능의 회복과 함께 호안의 안정성까지 고려된 복원이어야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 경상남도 김해시의 생태복원 하천을 대상으로 하여 HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 등과 같은 수리 수문 모형을 이용하여 다양한 조건의 유량과 수위에 대하여 소류력 평가 공식을 활용하여 기설 고수호안의 안정성을 분석하였다. 신어천을 대상으로 각 하천마다 적용된 공법을 조사하고 지점별 적용 공법과 평균 소류력의 관계를 파악하여 고수호안의 안정성을 분석하고자 하였다. 향후 본 연구결과를 활용하여 각 호안공법의 수리학적 설계기준을 제안할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Pseudo-Dynamic Test for the Bridges Retrofitted with Laminated Rubber Bearings (적층고무받침으로 내진보강된 교량의 유사동적실험)

  • Many highway bridges in Korea need seismic retrofit because only one decade has passed since the seismic design criteria was introduced. For the highway bridges of which bearings are worn and dysfunctional, the validity of seismic retrofit method using laminated rubber bearings was discussed in this study. Real scale RC pier specimens without seismic details were constructed. And then, Pot bearing, Rubber bearing (RB), Lead-rubber bearing (LRB) were applied to these specimens. Through pseudo dynamic test method, dynamic behavior of these RC piers under earthquake was simulated and compared. From the test results, proposed seismic retrofit method was found to be valid.

  • 현재 국내 LBS 가 중요한 서비스로 널리 확산되기 위해서는 서비스간의 상호운용성이 제공되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 LBS 서비스간 상호운용성을 제공하는 개방형 LBS 를 위한 경로탐색 서비스에 대한 설계 및 구현기법을 제시한다. 최단경로문제(Shortest Path Problem)는 통신망 및 교통망의 분석, 생산라인의 품질 관리 등의 다양한 분야 등의 네트워크 흐름 최적화 문제 중에서 가장 많이 연구되고 있는 문제다. 도로 교통망에서는 교차로상에서의 회전 제약 문제 등의 제한조건이 존재한다. 본 논문에서 경로탐색은 듀얼 그래프(dual graph)를 이용하여 회전제약조건을 만족하는 경로를 구할 수 있었고, 사용자 경로탐색 기준에 따른 탐색기법도 제시한다. 또한, 구현된 서비스는OpenLS의 표준화된 인터페이스를 구현하여 상호운용성(interoperability)을 지원하며, 자바를 이용한 웹서비스로 구현되어 이식성, 운영체제 및 프로그래밍 언어 독립성을 제공할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • In this study, to evaluate fatigue characteristics of developed composite bridge deck, compression fatigue test at girder support and flexural fatigue test for the 2.8m-long flexural test model were carried out. For the test specimen, DB 24 truck load was applied up to 2,000,000 cycles. In the compression fatigue test, behavior at deck tube and its bonded connection were evaluated. In the flexural fatigue test, deck behavior at mid-span and girder connection were evaluated.

  • 홍보용 LED 전광판의 경우 표준이 제정되어 있는 도로 전광판과는 달리 획일화된 기준 없이 설치한 것들이 많아 관리를 위한 시스템의 규격이 체계적으로 규정 되어 있지 않으며 통일된 시스템 구축체계를 정의하기 쉽지 않아 제작 비용적인 측면에서 낭비가 발생한다. 이러한 관리 측면의 문제점을 해결해야 한다는 요구사항에 스마트폰을 통하여 전자 제품을 제어하는 유비쿼터스 시대적 요구사항을 결합하여 모바일 상에서 실시간 원격으로 제어할 수 있는 LED 전광판 통합 관리/제어 시스템을 제안한다. 통일된 시스템을 제안함으로써 서로 다른 규격을 일일이 맞추는 낭비를 줄일 수 있으며, 모바일 기능을 강화함으로써 전광판에서 재생하는 저작물의 배포 및 서비스 구조 관리, 제어 등의 측면에서 신뢰성 있고 효율적인 LED 전광판 시스템 관리를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

A Study on the Resistance Characteristics of Leisure Boat According to Chine Shape (차인 형상에 따른 레저선박의 저항특성에 관한 연구)

  • The chine of high speed vessels does not only play a role in changing position when planing but also helps balancing the hull. It also has a great influence on resistance performance. However, designing a chine requires a lot of experience because it is influenced by various factors such as displacement, transom shape, draft and width. Such a design is not based on an empirical formula, but the purpose of this study is to provide basic guidelines regarding the shape of chine through calculation. This design was developed using Yacht-one, a commercial design program, and analysis was performed using Star-CCM+, also a commercial analysis program. Analysis of the hull selected in this study was carried out by Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction (DFBI) method. Analysis of the chine was carried out at chine angles of 15, 16, 17, and 19degrees, at a speed of 30knots. The result indicated that the highest trim occurred at 16 degrees among the four chine angles considered, and the highest heave occurred at 15degree. In terms of resistance performance, minimum resistance was observed at 16 degrees. Consequently, for minimum ship resistance, it is necessary to complete calculations in accordance with the chine angles, ${\pm}2$ degrees from the initial chine angle, which should be carried out a the design stage.
