  • 지난 1973년 이후 비가 내리는 날이 크게 증가되고 있으며, 1995년 이후 최근 10년간 우리나라의 전체 홍수 피해액은 약 17조 5천억 원으로 연 평균 1조 7천억원의 피해가 발생하고 있으며, 홍수피해의 90%이상이 인구가 밀집되고, 자산가치가 높은 도시에서 홍수로 인한 피해가 빈발하고 있기 때문에 도시침수 문제는 매우 심각한 실정이라 할 수 있다. 이에 따라 집중호우나 홍수범람시 수해 발생 가능성이 점차 증가하고 있는 침수피해가 높은 도시지역의 배수시스템에 대한 검토와 막대한 재산 및 인명피해로 이어질 수 있는 홍수피해에 대응하기 위한 홍수 지약지점에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일부지역의 도로배수 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 도로의 배수 취약지점을 탐색해보고, 집중호우 및 홍수 발생시 침수 발생가능성이 높은 지점을 선정하여 도로배수 네트워크 개선을 위한 효과적인 침수예방대책 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

Drivers' Rational Belief Formation under Bounded Traffic Environments (한정된 교통환경하에서 운전자의 합리적 신념형성에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes drivers' rational belief formation under a bounded traffic environment. This is to escape the criticism that excessive rationality (e.g., a driver's calculating ability and memory capacity) is required of drivers. Under bounded traffic environments. drivers do not have structural knowledge of traffic conditions and others' decisions. Simulations are carried out using a program coded in C. Consequently, the author found the learning process of drivers and the value of information can be differentiated by route conditions and the characteristics of driver groups. Also, it was found that rational drivers form different beliefs about traffic conditions even though they have the same traffic environment in a bounded traffic environment.

  • Currently, in Korea, due to the rapid aging and deterioration of facilities, the minimum Maintenance Level and Performance Level' of facilities are required by the 'Facility Safety Act' or 'Infrastructure Management Act'. Since infrastructure assets have a long lifespan and the pattern of deterioration over time is complex, it is very difficult to maintain infrastructure as 'minimum maintenance state' or 'minimum performance state' by the current way of management. 'Asset Management' shall be performed not only by a technical perspective, but also by an accounting perspective such as cost and asset value. However, due to lack of awareness of 'asset management' among stakeholder, only technical perspective management is being carried out in practice. In order to effectively manage infrastructure assets, complex consideration of various asset value factors such as budget and service as well as safety and durability are required. In this paper, we presented a theory to evaluate and quantify the road network value for efficient asset management of the road network. We also presented a method of simulation to apply the theory presented in this paper. Through simulation and the results derived from this study, it is possible to specify the budget for the future national asset management, and to optimize the strategy for the management of old road facilities.

  • 본 논문은 제주 택시 텔레매틱스 시스템에 축적되고 있는 차량들의 이동이력 데이터에 대한 처리구조를 설계하고 구현한다. 각 차량은 1분마다 자신의 위치와 GPS 정보 및 택시의 상태에 관련된 보고를 발생시키며 중앙의 관제시스템은 이를 수합하여 이력데이터를 구성한다. 본 논문에서 구현하는 시스템은 위치 보고를 처리하여 인코딩 변환, 좌표 변환, 맵 매칭, 도로상에서의 위치 계산 등을 수행한 후 오라클 데이터베이스의 이력 테이블에 저장하도록 한다. 이를 위하여 도로 네트워크가 데이터베이스로 변환되었으며 도로망에의 가시화를 위하여 지도 인터페이스 프로그램이 구현되었다. 이러한 정보들은 이력 테이블과 아울러 공간 데이터베이스 엔진과 결합하여 C 언어나 SQL 문장에 의하여 다양한 위치기반 질의를 가능하게 할 뿐 아니라 배차 정보 분석, 현재 통행 속도 분석 등 부가가치가 높은 정보를 산출하는데 필수적인 역할을 수행한다.

  • 사회적 경제적 환경적 영향에 대한 장기적인 고려 없이 진행된 개발도상국가의 도시화와 인구증가는 도시의 슬럼화 등 다양한 문제를 초래하고 있다. 본 연구는 베트남 하이퐁시를 대상으로 생태적 도시계획모델을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서 적용한 생태적 계획과정은 크게 네 단계로 구분할 수 있다. 첫째, 기존에 연구된 생태적 도시계획 과정 및 절차를 검토, 정리하였다. 둘째, 한국을 포함한 성공적 사례를 검토함으로써 베트남에 적용 가능한 전략과 친환경적 개발 요소 등을 도출하였다. 베트남과 비슷한 경제발전 과정을 거친 한국의 일산, 분당 등 생태도시 사례로 부터 네 가지 전략을 도출하였다. 셋째, 대상지 분석 및 토지적합성평가를 실시하였으며 절대보전, 상대보전, 개발가능 지역 등을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 앞의 세 단계를 토대로 생태적 신도시건설을 위한 토지이용계획을 수립하였고, 블루네트워크(수체계), 그린네트워크(녹지체계), 화이트네트워크(바람길체계), 휴먼네트워크(자전거 및 보행도로체계), 문화네트워크(역사자원체계)의 다섯 가지 네트워크개념을 적용하였다. 각 네트워크별, 각 네트워크간의 연결 및 순환을 강조함으로써 현존하는 자연적 문화적 자원을 보전, 신도시의 가치로 창출되게 하고자 하였다.

A Method to Evaluate Distance Efficiency of Seoul Metropolitan Subway by Estimating Subway Detour Factor (지하철 우회계수 산정을 통한 수도권 지하철의 거리 효율 평가 모형)

  • Detour of metro (subway) in metropolitan area has been regarded as one of inherent elements that make entire metro system less competitive than passenger cars. However, factors affecting detour of metro line is not specified clearly when a new subway system is planned or an existing system is improved. Previous detour-related studies was reviewed for developing 'distance efficeincy evaluation model' for metro as well as its counterpart (i.e. road). Metro line 3 (orange line) of Seoul metropolitan area was applied as a case study. As a results, the most detoured OD segment is Daechi - Apgujeong and its detour factor is 1.93 which means that the distance of the metro is 1.93 times longer distance compared to the distance of the road. The metro line 3 has averagely 20% longer distance compared to road for the identical O/D pairs.

TSSN: A Deep Learning Architecture for Rainfall Depth Recognition from Surveillance Videos (TSSN: 감시 영상의 강우량 인식을 위한 심층 신경망 구조)

  • Rainfall depth is an important meteorological information. Generally, high spatial resolution rainfall data such as road-level rainfall data are more beneficial. However, it is expensive to set up sufficient Automatic Weather Systems to get the road-level rainfall data. In this paper, we proposed to use deep learning to recognize rainfall depth from road surveillance videos. To achieve this goal, we collected two new video datasets, and proposed a new deep learning architecture named Temporal and Spatial Segment Networks (TSSN) for rainfall depth recognition. Under TSSN, the experimental results show that the combination of the video frame and the differential frame is a superior solution for the rainfall depth recognition. Also, the proposed TSSN architecture outperforms other architectures implemented in this paper.

Optimum Life-Cycle Cost Design of Steel Bridges (강교의 생애주기비용 최적설계)

  • This paper proposed a general formulation of Life-Cycle Cost (LCC) models and LCC effective design system models of steel bridges suitable for practical implementation. An LCC model for the optimum design of steel bridges included initial cost and direct/indirect rehabilitation costs of a steel bridge as well as repair/replacement costs, loss of contents or fatality and injury losses, road user costs, and indirect socioeconomic losses. The new road user cost model and regional socioeconomic losses model were especially considered because of the traffic network. Illustrative design examples of an actual steel box girder and an orthotropic steel deck bridge were discussed to demonstrate the LCC effectiveness of the design of steel bridges. Based on the results of the numerical investigation, the LCC-effective optimum design of steel bridges based on the proposed LCC model was found to lead to a more rational, economical, and safer design compared with the initial cost-optimum design and the conventional code-based design.

  • To find optimal path is killer application in the telematics system. The shortest path of conventional system, however, isn't always optimal path. That is, the path with minimum travelling time could be defined as optimal path in the road networks. There are techniques and algorithms for finding optimal path. Hierarchical path algorithm categorizes road networks into major layer and minor layer so that the performance of operational time increases. The path searched is accurate as much as optimal path. At above 2 system, a method to allocate minor roads to major road region influences the performance extremely. This paper proposes methods to determine search space for selecting major roads in the hierarchical path algorithm. In addition, methods which apply the proposed methods to hierarchical route algorithm is presented.

A Study on the Feeder Transit Route Design System (대중교통 지선노선 선정기법에 관한 연구)

  • The bus as a feeder trip should supply equality service to the whole community. But in spite of the change of latent demand to the bus by the variety of regional structural change, the existing bus route can not supply effective feeder service. For cope with the latent demand to the bus, this study establish a concept that frame the feeder bus route design system for changing of the existing bus route or creating of bus route. The concept of feeder bus route design system from this study is not to frame the whole bus network but to frame the single route to a unit OD pair. So, this study have assumption that do not consider the wating time at bus stop and transfer time. This system is consist of three phase. First is limitation of examination road network, second is enumeration of a most suitable route, and final is determination of the optimum bus route. However, a precondition is that the necessary time from the origin to the destination is brief, and having many demand.
