Indoor 3D Modeling Using a Rotating Stereo Frame Camera System and Accuracy Evaluation (회전식 프레임 카메라 시스템을 이용한 실내 3차원 모델링 및 정확도 평가)

  • We propose a rotating stereo frame camera system to acquire indoor images with a low cost. For experiments, we selected a test site and acquired images using the proposed system and control points using a total station. Using these data, we generated various indoor 3D models using commercial photogrammetric software, PhotoScan. We then performed qualitative and quantitative analysis of the generated indoor 3D models to investigate the possibility of the indoor modeling using the proposed system. From the results, it is confirmed that the generated indoor models using the proposed system can be applicable to the services not inquiring high accuracy.

Building Dataset of Sensor-only Facilities for Autonomous Cooperative Driving

  • In this paper, we propose a method to build a sample dataset of the features of eight sensor-only facilities built as infrastructure for autonomous cooperative driving. The feature extracted from point cloud data acquired by LiDAR and build them into the sample dataset for recognizing the facilities. In order to build the dataset, eight sensor-only facilities with high-brightness reflector sheets and a sensor acquisition system were developed. To extract the features of facilities located within a certain measurement distance from the acquired point cloud data, a cylindrical projection method was applied to the extracted points after applying DBSCAN method for points and then a modified OTSU method for reflected intensity. Coordinates of 3D points, projected coordinates of 2D, and reflection intensity were set as the features of the facility, and the dataset was built along with labels. In order to check the effectiveness of the facility dataset built based on LiDAR data, a common CNN model was selected and tested after training, showing an accuracy of about 90% or more, confirming the possibility of facility recognition. Through continuous experiments, we will improve the feature extraction algorithm for building the proposed dataset and improve its performance, and develop a dedicated model for recognizing sensor-only facilities for autonomous cooperative driving.

System of Agricultural Land Monitoring Using UAV (무인항공기를 이용한 농경지 모니터링 시스템)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a system configuration for gathering data and building a database for agriculture. Some foreign agriculture-related companies have already constructed such a database for scientific agriculture. The hardware of this system is composed of automatic capturing equipment based on aerial photography using a UAV. The software is composed of parts for stitching images, matching GPS data with captured images, and building a database of collected weather information, farm operation data, and aerial images. We suggest a method for building the database, which can include information about the amount of agricultural products, weather, farm operation, and agricultural land images. The images of this system are about 5 times better than satellite images. Factors such as farm working and environmental factors can be basic data for analyzing the full impact of agriculture land. This system is expected to contribute to the scientific analysis of Korea's agriculture.

A Study on Smart Ground Resistance Measurement Technology Based on Aduino (아두이노 기반 IT융합 스마트 대지저항 측정 기술 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose is to establish a safe facility environment from abnormal voltages such as lightning by developing a smart land resistance measuring device that can acquire real-time land resistance data using Arduino. Method: This paper studied design models and application cases by developing a land resistance acquisition and analysis system with Arduino and a power line communication (PLC) system. Some sites in the wind power generation complex in Gyeongsangnam-do were selected as test beds, and real-time land resistance data applied with new technologies were obtained. The electrode arrangement adopted a smart electrode arrangement using a combination of a Wenner four electrode arrangement and a Schlumberger electrode arrangement. Result: First, the characteristic of this technology is that the depth of smart multi-electrodes is organized differently to reduce the error range of the acquired data even in the stratigraphic structure with specificity between floors. Second, IT convergence technology was applied to enable real-time transmission and reception of information on land resistance data acquired from smart ground electrodes through the Internet of Things. Finally, it is possible to establish a regular management system and analyze big data accumulated in the server to check the trend of changes in various elements, and to model the optimal ground algorithm and ground system design for the IT convergence environment. Conclusion: This technology will reduce surge damage caused by lightning on urban infrastructure underlying the 4th industrial era and design an optimized ground system model to protect the safety and life of users. It is also expected to secure intellectual property rights of pure domestic technology to create jobs and revitalize our industry, which has been stagnant as a pandemic in the post-COVID-19 era.

  • 본 연구는 지열원식 냉난방 히트펌프 시스템의 상태를 실시간으로 감시하고 열 성능을 실시간으로 평가할 수 있도록 한 지열원식 냉난방 히트펌프 시스템의 상태 감시 및 열 성능 평가 방법에 관한 것으로서, 이러한 본 연구는, 프로그램 실행을 통하여 측정 간격이 설정되고, 다이얼로그 박스 상에서 시스템 개요, 공사개요, 히트펌프설비개요, 지열루핑 설비개요, 버퍼탱크, 건물개요 등을 입력받은 후 시스템의 개통도 이미지 파일프로그램 로딩과 각종 계측기를 통해 전기적인 데이터의 취득 기능 등의 데이터측정 준비를 위한 기본 제1단계와; 취득된 전기적인 데이터를 물리 신호로 변환한 후 기본 데이터 산정하고 결과를 도시하는 "시스템 실시간 작동 상태 감시" 기능의 제2단계와; 기본 순간치 데이터를 근거로 "시스템의 열성능 평가 변수 값 산정과 결과"를 도시하는 제3단계와; 2단계에서의 기본 데이터와 3단계에서의 열성능 평가 변수 값을 후처리용 데이터 파일로 저장하는 제4단계와; 현장에 설치된 지열원식 히트펌프 시스템의 상태를 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 활용하여 원격지(본사)에서 IP 접속을 통하여 원거리 원격 작동상태 감시 기능 및 제어를 수행하는 제5단계를 수행하게 된다.

  • An airborne LiDAR system performs several observations on flight routes to collect data of targeted regions accompanying with discrepancies between the collected data strips of adjacent routes. This paper aims to present an automatic error correction technique using modified ICP as a way to remove relative errors from the observed data of strip data between flight routes and to make absolute correction to the control data. A control point data from the existing digital topographic map were created and the modified ICP algorithm was applied to perform the absolute automated correction on the relatively adjusted airborne LiDAR data. Through such process we were able to improve the absolute accuracy between strips within the average point distance of airborne LiDAR data and verified the possibility of automation in the geometric corrections using a large scale digital map.

3D Reconstruction of Pipe-type Underground Facility Based on Stereo Images and Reference Data (스테레오 영상과 기준데이터를 활용한 관로형 지하시설물 3차원 형상 복원)

  • Image-based 3D reconstruction is to restore the shape and color of real-world objects, and image sensors mounted on mobile platforms are used for positioning and mapping purposes in indoor and outdoor environments. Due to the increase in accidents in underground space, the location accuracy problem of underground spatial information has been raised. Image-based location estimation studies have been conducted with the advantage of being able to determine the 3D location and simultaneously identify internal damage from image data acquired from the inside of pipeline-type underground facilities. In this study, we studied 3D reconstruction based on the images acquired inside the pipe-type underground facility and reference data. An unmanned mobile system equipped with a stereo camera was used to acquire data and image data within a pipe-type underground facility where reference data were placed at the entrance and exit. Using the acquired image and reference data, the pipe-type underground facility is reconstructed to a geo-referenced 3D shape. The accuracy of the 3D reconstruction result was verified by location and length. It was confirmed that the location was determined with an accuracy of 20 to 60 cm and the length was estimated with an accuracy of about 20 cm. Using the image-based 3D reconstruction method, the position and line-shape of the pipe-type underground facility will be effectively updated.

  • 최근 범국가적인 GIS구축사업을 위한 효율적인 지형공간정보취득기법에 대한 요구가 날로 증가하고 있다. 이는 HW, SW 및 데이터로 구성되는 GIS구축에서 지형자료가 차지하는 비중과 이의 취득에 필요한 노력이 매우 중요함을 반증하고 있다. 이에 부응하여 국내에서도 재래식측량기법의 자동화/현대화에서부터 GPS측량기술의 도입, Airborne-항공사진측량기법의 개발 및 고해상도위성영상의 활용방안에 이르기까지 새로운 측량기술에 대한 다양한 연구와 기술축적을 서두르고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 위의 어떠한 측량기법도 단독으로는 정확도, 신속성, 경제성, 현재성 등 GIS 자료취득의 모든 요구조건을 만족하는 Total Solution이 되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 매핑과 GIS-자료취득에 활용되고 있는 여러 가지 항공측량기술의 현황과 장단점을 살펴보았다. 또한 위성에 의한 위치결정시스템인 GPS와 관성항행장치인 INS를 결합하여 항공측량 분야에 필요한 센서의 위치와 회전각을 결정하므로서 시너지(Synergy)효과를 높이는 기법을 소개한다.

Velocity Measurement of Fast Moving Object for Traffic Information Acquisition (트래픽 정보 취득을 위한 고속이동물체 속도 측정)

  • In this paper, velocity measurement of fast moving object for traffic information acquisition using line sampling of image is proposed. Velocity measurement for traffic information acquisition of moving object is that the first sample line and second sample line on the road is set, then car is detected by using difference image method between time-variance hue data of image when car is passing two sample lines and hue data of the reference image, and velocity of the car is measured by using frame number of video which is occupied by two sample lines. Identification of the car is performed by hue of the detected car between the first sample line and second sample line, respectively To examine the propriety of the proposed algorithm, identification and velocity measurement for driving car is evaluated. The evaluated results is that it is identified by hue data of car passing two sample lines, and the velocity measurement for driving car is less than 3% comparing with X-band speed gun.

  • 보안 시스템의 중요성이 늘어남에 따라 열악한 CCTV 영상 환경에서의 범죄 예방 및 검거의 중요성이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문은 CCTV의 제약 환경에 맞는 데이터 취득, 근적외선 및 가시영역 혼합 영상의 분리 및 복원 방법을 제안한다. 데이터 취득 및 학습시킨 데이터의 성능은 PSNR 방법을 이용해 비교하였고, 저조도 영역의 근적외선과 가시영역의 분리 성능은 34dB 이상이 나왔다. 색 복원은 PSNR 측면에서는 22.5dB가 나왔고, 저조도 영역의 분리 성능과 비교하여 낮은 성능을 기록하다. 색복원의 평가 정도는 원본 영상과 주관적 평가방법을 사용하여 비교하였다.
