A Data Broadcasting Service Design Guideline based on the Survey on Viewer's Modality of Using Data Broadcasting Services (데이터방송 서비스 이용행태에 대한 설문조사를 기반으로 한 데이터방송 서비스 기획 가이드라인)

  • Due to the development of the digital technology, the digital broadcasting is changing to a multi-entertainment platform that can operate data (broadcasting) services (such as games, weather information, and stock trading services) as well as traditional broadcasting contents. Most of the data services, however, failed to get satisfactory results because of the inconvenience in operating the services using a TV remote controller and the failure of gaining the viewer's interests in the competition with the broadcasting contents. The paper introduces a survey on the viewer's modality of using a data service and, based on the survey result, proposes a design guideline that makes a data service minimally interrupt a viewer watching a broadcasting content.

  • 디지털 헬스케어 기술이 고도화되면서 디지털 치료제와 원격 의료 서비스가 의료 산업과 일상생활에 널리 활용되고 있다. 그러나 빅데이터 기반의 AI 서비스가 보편화될 수 있도록 데이터 수집, 가공, 활용 과정에서 개인정보가 남용되거나 유출되는 보안 위협도 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 AI 챗봇을 활용한 정신건강 서비스를 위한 보안 위협 대응책을 마련하고 개인정보보호 가이드라인을 수립하여 사용자들에게 안전한 서비스를 제공하고 개인정보보호를 강화하는 AI 챗봇 서비스를 위한 데이터 보안 가이드라인을 제안한다.

Guidelines for big data projects in artificial intelligence mathematics education (인공지능 수학 교육을 위한 빅데이터 프로젝트 과제 가이드라인)

  • In today's digital information society, student knowledge and skills to analyze big data and make informed decisions have become an important goal of school mathematics. Integrating big data statistical projects with digital technologies in high school <Artificial Intelligence> mathematics courses has the potential to provide students with a learning experience of high impact that can develop these essential skills. This paper proposes a set of guidelines for designing effective big data statistical project-based tasks and evaluates the tasks in the artificial intelligence mathematics textbook against these criteria. The proposed guidelines recommend that projects should: (1) align knowledge and skills with the national school mathematics curriculum; (2) use preprocessed massive datasets; (3) employ data scientists' problem-solving methods; (4) encourage decision-making; (5) leverage technological tools; and (6) promote collaborative learning. The findings indicate that few textbooks fully align with these guidelines, with most failing to incorporate elements corresponding to Guideline 2 in their project tasks. In addition, most tasks in the textbooks overlook or omit data preprocessing, either by using smaller datasets or by using big data without any form of preprocessing. This can potentially result in misconceptions among students regarding the nature of big data. Furthermore, this paper discusses the relevant mathematical knowledge and skills necessary for artificial intelligence, as well as the potential benefits and pedagogical considerations associated with integrating technology into big data tasks. This research sheds light on teaching mathematical concepts with machine learning algorithms and the effective use of technology tools in big data education.

A System for Medical Statistical Analysis Using Guide Maps and Interactive Visualization (가이드 맵과 인터랙티브 시각화를 이용한 의료 통계분석 시스템)

  • This paper presents a system for medical statistical analysis that helps medical professionals analyze clinical data more easily and accurately. It is able to recommend proper methods according to the distribution of sample data, and provides guide maps composed of icons for the understanding of the process of analysis. Besides general statistical analysis, it includes commonly-used statistical methods for medical fields, such as survival analysis and methods for repetitive measurements. The results of analysis are interactively displayed by 3D glyph-based visualization with uncertainty.

  • 주택시장 통계와 관련된 국가 정보시스템들의 현황조사와 업무 프로세스 정립을 기반으로 실제 적용 가능한 시스템들의 매뉴얼 및 데이터 통합 가이드라인을 제시한다면 주택시장 구조 변화에 신속하고 정확한 대응이 가능할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 국가정보시스템인 건축행정시스템(세움터)과 주택공급통계정보시스템(HIS)을 대상으로 주택시장 통계고도화에 따른 데이터 통합 가이드라인 및 관련정보시스템의 업무 개선 매뉴얼을 제시했다. 각 기관들의 체계적인 자료 생성은 주택시장분야의 합리적이고 효율적인 의사결정을 도울 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to present a guide for the development of research data management education programs for researchers affiliated with domestic universities and research institutions. In order to present the relevant program guide, first, we investigated and analyzed educational programs for overseas research data management. The educational programs studied and analyzed are RDMRose, RDMLA, DataONE, Digital Research Alliance of Canada, NNLM, PARTHENOS and Coursera. In addition, in order to confirm the appropriateness of the education program, it was reviewed through the detailed competency of data literacy researched in Korea. As a result of the review, most of the detailed competencies for data literacy were satisfied. Finally, a program guide for researchers was presented by synthesizing the research data management education programs that were investigated and analyzed. The results of this study will help develop research data management education programs that can systematically support and activate researchers belonging to universities and institutions.

A Digital TV Data Service Design Guideline considering Viewer's Modality (디지털 TV 시청 행태에 부합하는 데이터 서비스 기획 가이드라인)

  • As a digital TV has outstanding features of being the most influential device in the living room and having the wide spectrum of users, several internet services has been ported on the digital TV platform (in the form of data services) in order to enhance their brand powers. Most of the services, however, failed to get a satisfactory results as the data services are defeated by the broadcasting contents in the competition for the viewer's interests. In the paper, the design guidelines that make data services not to compete with the broadcasting contents are proposed and a prototype of a data service that accommodates the guidelines is introduced.

  • 오랜 기간동안 메타데이터를 기반으로 한 데이터통합에 대한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 기존 방법론들은 전역 뷰 또는 전역 스키마와 같은 초기 가이드라인을 구축하는데 많은 비용이 요구 된다는 단점이 있다. 이는 기존 연구들이 해당 도메인 특성들을 간과했기 때문이다. 예를 들어 과학 데이터의 경우 일반사용자들은 생물의 이름이나 모양 등과 같은 단순정보에 관심을 갖는 반면 과학자나 전문가들은 보다 상세하고 전문적인 데이터에 관심을 갖는다. 추가적으로 모든 데이터에 대한 초기 표준 가이드라인을 구축하는 것은 현실적으로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 도메인 특성을 고려하여 점진적인 통합방법론(LOG : Localization-based Global metadata registry)을 제안한다.

A Proposal for Meta Guideline of Orientate Signage Design based on Information Design (정보디자인 관점에서 방향 안내 표지판 디자인의 메타 가이드라인 제안)

  • Wayfinding is a 'Process solving problem to find destination', and it is important to select spatial data for optimal way. Recently, due to the complexity of space and the expansion of the medium of the wayfinding service, it is necessary to the approach on the information design for them. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a meta guideline on the information design for the design of orientation sign, which is an important cognitive clue in the wayfinding. It was conducted in 3 stages, First, a design process was proposed and design elements were derived for each step by literature research related to information and sign design, and analysis of manual for signage design. Second, a meta guideline for information organization and visualization in the three-stage design process was proposed by FGI and analysis. Third, the meta guideline was applied to the sign design on an area for user evaluation to inspect the applicability of the meta guideline. Through the user questionnaire, the possibility of applying the guideline for visualization of directions and spaces, information hierarchy according to spatial characteristics and information priority was identified. It is meaningful in that necessary element for signage design are systematized centering on the process and that it presents a macroscopic methodology according to spatial characteristics.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 보안 기술

  • 최근 IT 분야에서 클라우드 컴퓨팅에 대한 관심과 연구가 진행되고 있다. IT 기술의 기술적/산업적 성장은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 실현을 목표로 확장가능하고 자원의 연동을 위한 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 관심을 높이고 있다. 그러나 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 실현을 위해서는 보안적인 문제점 해결이 선결 과제이다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 통해 데이터가 연동되고 자원을 다양하게 활용하는 것에는 데이터 보호와 자원의 관리 정책, 기업 비밀 관리나 개인의 프라이버시 측면에서의 문제점도 존재한다. 따라서 본 고에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 분류 체계와 보안적인 문제점을 분석하여 클라우드 컴퓨팅 이용자를 위한 보안 가이드라인을 제시한다. 가이드라인을 기반으로 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 산업적 확장성을 강화하고 활용성을 높임으로써 서비스의 확대 및 자원의 효율적인 활용을 강화하고자 한다.
